Our stay was very quiet during the winter holidays. We liked being able to walk into town to eat and shop. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The bed also had a very comfortable mattress!

All very good. Would have liked a bar open every evening.

I highly recommend the Southampton Inn. Best deal in the Hamptons. Breakfast was great and reasonable. We will only stay at the Southampton Inn while we’re in town!
3.0
Steep steps to second floor/no elevators/high rates (even off-season)/limited amenities/“newly decorated”=motel upgrades.
5.0
Cozy room, tempurpedic mattress, nice lobby lounge, resident cat, walking distance to town, many fun activities available like pool, bikes ..

Only things I didn't like was the bartender in the outdoor area. Very slow and didn't seem to care.
Also, not a big deal, because we found it, but we left a toddlers floatie at the pool and called 15 minutes later when we realized in the car, and they said they would look... When we got back at night they said they didn't find it, so we were surprised someone would steal something like that. I bought a new one at the store across the street and the next day it was sitting to the side of the pool... So they found it, but didn't communicate with each other. Made me go across the street and made me overpay for a crappy version of a floatie. Annoying.

We had a wonderful stay. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and convenient parking. Can easily walk in town from the hotel and it is a short trip to the lovely Coopers beach as well. Great place to stay when visiting Southampton and definitely will be back.

Sadly a very underwhelming experience. We arrived at 8pm to a very disinterested man on reception. Found our room after some looking, which was large and with a comfortable bed, but the carpet needed a good clean. Worst of all were the thin walls as we could hear the person snoring in the room next door, and heard every movement from the room upstairs.

The whole experience was great. The room was spotless and the staff was very professional and helpful.

Coffee in the morning USED to be complimentary - now they charge $4.00, and it is so just ok coffee.
Not smart business - they have coffee maker in room, but it is not a good one at all -

We went to Southampton for a family event, we enjoyed our stay at the Southampton Inn. Damian was at the front desk, he was friendly and professional. We would stay again, it was very clean and in a great location.

It was very clean and comfy. Everything was spot on in the room. No complaints from me. My wife said there should be more sink room to due her makeup and more mirrors in the room bc they have plenty of space in the room. Overall great experience and probably will return!!

They charged me a $100 fee, after I checked out, for what they said was hot water damage to the desk. First of all, the desk was damaged when I got there. I thought nothing of it but probably should have taken pictures. Secondly, the coffee make is on the desk! What do they think is going to happen?!? I suspect they charge everyone staying in room 247 $100 for damage to the desk. I called the manager three times and I am still waiting on a call back!

Great location, walkable to town and restaurants, but it is more or an upscale motel.

As the first ever hotel to stay in, in Southampton, this was definitely the place to be. I traveled with my parents, and we were so pleasantly surprised with the layout of their hotel restaurant, Claude's and how delicious the food was as well as the incredible servers. We then loved the pool area which has an outdoor bar and Claude's menu for lunch. It truly felt like an oasis. Also, if you have children they have many outdoor games, like ping pong, shuffleboard, corn hole, and others. We love the beach and having a shuttle take you directly to the beach without worrying about paying for parking or any other headaches was incredible. Cooper's Beach is so beautiful and they have a wonderful comfort station with food. A few negatives with the hotel included the water pressure of the room and feeling that the layout was not adequate like not having a mirror at the counter and not having enough side tables. But, the beds are extremely comfy and the toiletries are very nice. But, the room itself felt large for three people which was a plus. Another highlight is their lobby which includes a lot of sitting area, a library, and outdoor patio seating. This hotel is definitely impressive and we want to come back to stay a week. There's definitely enough in the area to keep you entertained.

Lovely property and well maintained. Friendly and helpful staff. Food was excellent, high quality and delicious.

The reception did not inform us that we could get beach chairs and umbrellas or even that there was a shuttle to the beach-I knew of the shuttle from aprevious stay and the shuttle driver had to wait for us to get an umbrella as he was the one to inform us-

the stay was fine and just what we expected. the only negative is the air conditioner which goes on and off all night. Also, it is very noisy in the mornings when people start moving around and slamming doors.

The service is very impersonal and spotty. The front desk was not very welcoming.
