I would say the only complaint was a bigger trash can in the kitchen, especially when there are 7 guests. Also with seven guests the probability of 2 people sharing a queen bed is high so more than 3 pillows.

We stayed here for the last night of our Washington DC spring break trip. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was pretty clean. The only complaint was that there were some ants in the kitchenette. The beds could've been more comfortable. The breakfast area was wonderful, clean, and had a very Delicious selection available. Checkout was smooth. There was no charge for parking. We realized after getting here that the shuttle will also take you to the Metro station. Next time we come we will definitely stay here and take advantage of the shuttle to the Metro and save ourselves hundreds of dollars of parking fees over the course of our trip.

I nevwr leave reviews, but this is a sanitation issue.
I arrived late and fell sleep on top of the bed. When i woke up i turned the sheets down to notice several blood stains that showed that the sheets were not changed.
I tried calling downstairs several times, but there was no answer. I finally gave and went to sleep on the chair since i was so tired. I mentioned it in the morning, but they wanted to get someone to look and i had to be somewhere in 15 minutes. I just checked out and left.
I have since tried calling and faxing them and never received a reply.
NEVER AGAIN! If they are cutting corners cleaning and making beds please think twice before staying here.

Rooms are nice, clean and big. Staff was very nice upon check in. Eric our shuttle driver could not have been more helpful. He is a great person to represent this hotel to arriving guests. Shuttle experience at the beginning of our trip was not so nice. Eric needs to show the other driver how to be personable, helpful and a genuine pleasure to talk to. Thanks

As soon as I entered the property I was greeted by friendly staff and a welcome bag.
The rooms have plenty of clean space with everything I needed to feel right at home.

The hotel is pretty dated. The bathroom wasn't working properly, and the doors and hall area looked age.
The area where the bathroom met the bedroom had a strip with exposed nails. I wouldn't stay there again. Maybe they gave me an older room.

Really Disappointed in this place. Super gross and dirty. Everything was ripped or stained or falling apart. The closet door was completely off the track and I couldn’t open or close. There’s a huge gap between the front door and the floor so a bright light shined in the room the entire night. Leaving photos of how the inside of my room looked. NOT worth the $700+ spent.

The property look good but the check in is terrible since the hotel font desk could not find my reservation and we need to wait for more than an hour before we are checked in. My reservation is good for 6 and the room given to us can accommodate only 4.

The room had carpet coming out with nails poking and telephone lines were not working. Even after telling the front desk there is no action.

My door will not close unless I slam it. I almost walked away, leaving the room unlocked. The coffee machine does not work and I was accidentally given a room number and a key that opened up a room with somebody sleeping in it to be honest I’m lucky I didn’t get shot.

Dirty room, dirty bathroom, poor breakfast, ignorant employees, uneducated register workers, it’s not worth my $245.00 per night.it’s cheap $80 hotel. I don’t understand how did they get Hilton name

We actually stayed 8 nights at this location and LOVED it. I was traveling with my husband and 2 kids. We booked a room with a kitchenette which was perfect because did not want to buy every meal out. The kitchen did not have a stove (just a stove top) which would have helped a lot. Our room was spacious enough for us to put two toddler beds on the floor and was very clean.
We also felt very secure which is so important to me especially when traveling with kids. The location seemed safe and so did the hotel.
We loved the complimentary breakfast. The hot bar part changed literally every day and we didnt have the same meal for each of the meals we had there. They had something for everyone! The complimentary breakfast buffet area and dining area was very clean the entirety of the stay.
Having the free parking really helped cut down on costs. We ran into a situation where my husband and daughter were stranded (due to our vehicle breaking) and the hotel immediately helped us with getting a shuttle to the airport so I could rent a car to pick them up. The shuttle driver drove safe and was pleasant to talk to.
My only complaint would be the pool. The water was ice cold. We only swam once because of the issue, it was clean though.
I would still put this as a 5 star rating because honestly everything else was perfect. Great location to metro, free shuttle service, clean hotel, friendly staff, great breakfast, felt safe, plenty of kid tv channels, quiet. Thank you Homewood!

The hotel was in good condition, but the cleaning of the sofa bed under the mat was full of garbage; and I didn't like didn't clean the rooms daily we had to make a request. But I think they can improve it. And if I stay at the hotel again, the prices are affordable 👍

The pool and breakfasts were big hits with our kids. We had an issue with our bathroom that took a while for staff to resolve (almost 24 hrs) but they worked to make it right with us, which we appreciated! We’d stay here again as it’s very convenient for families.

1- The room didn't smell fresh despite my call and message -before arriving- stating that my kids have sever allergy to dust and mold.
2-The shower head was not clean and the bathroom has No fan, disgusting!
3- The room was too small for 6 people.
4- When we shared our discomfort with the staff and asked to change the room, they gave us a hard time. They moved us to another room that is very much the same.
5- We've been Expedia valued customers for long time, and we mostly stay at one of the (Hilton) hotels. Over the years and within many locations, this property -by far- was the least!

Everything was great! A home away from home in the 1 bedroom suite! Pool was nice. A hot tub would have made it perfect! Breakfast was filled with lots of choices! Enjoyed having actual plates and bowls! Highly recommended!

We had booked a suite that said it accommodated 7, but only had 2 beds plus the pull-out sofa. We asked where the 7th bed was, expecting a roll-away or something, but they no longer have those, so they comped us a king suite around the corner without any trouble. Worked out well for us b/c the suites only have dishes for 4 so it doubled that and the beds in the suite we got were fulls, not queens, so we were prepared for a tighter squeeze overnight and then had more room to spread out over the 2 suites.
The breakfast was good but the dining area was frigid, but that's to be expected with super low temps and the lobby doors opening repeatedly. The king suite was warm, but the other was a little chilly no matter what we set the temp at (it was by the 1st floor exit).
Word to the wise- the suites have stoves as stated, but no OVENS. We had brought frozen pizzas to cook and ended up having to nuke them...not the most pleasant way to prepare them.

Don’t count on the shuttle. I booked this property because of its proximity to the airport and shuttle that started at 6 AM because we needed it for our early flight. We confirmed the shuttle the day before and at 6 AM the day we needed it were told there was a miscommunication and there was no shuttle that day.

It was very pleasant stay with very decent room! I thought this place would be crowded, but it was way too sparse and peaceful! I love the facility though I wished they had vending machines or more food services in the property because I had to walk 15-20 min to the nearest plaza. Aside of that, I had no other complaint, and I thank staffs for shuttle service to the airport!

We picked it for location and expected more from Hilton.
The room was filthy w balls of black hair in the bathroom floor of the master room. The furniture in the main living space was beat up. The carpet in the threshold of the door from living space to the master was torn up. I have never written up a comment like this in all my years of traveling. I’ve slept in bad motels. It not under the Hilton banner. I expect more.

The little mini-mart area in the hotel was pretty empty. Got in a little later in the evening and not much there to eat. Staff was very apologetic.

No blankets for the 5th person in my family. No hot water. MGN was supposed to reimburse up to 25% of my bill for the inconvenience. Put us in a handicap room. It wouldn’t have been as bad if they would have turned on the hot water and gave us a blanket. Also would not move us to another room. The lady stated they were all booked up. Also stated their blankets were out of stock. Two days of taking a cold shower.

This should have been a very good choice for families who would like to cook a little while visiting D.C. had it not been the ant attack in our room. We were promised a room at higher floors the next day upon check in but was given a room on the 1st floor instead. That room did not seem to be lived in and felt pretty damp. With that said, the hotel has been very generous to give us two adjacent rooms instead of the one room we originally booked when we told them that the two double beds in the room we first checked were way too small for two people to sleep in. So if you are planning to stay there, be aware that the beds are really only full size not queen size.

I thought the room was nice, but the second night of a four night stay the floor developed a large wet spot in the middle of the doorway. The staff is very friendly but unfortunately not helpful. Me and the kids were walking through a puddle for the two remaining also only one burner of the range worked.
