The staff was friendly, and many of them I assume, tried their best, still, my 5 days in this hotel have been one of the least pleasant experiences in any hotel. 1. Air conditioning didn’t work. Notified the staff on day 1, then on day 2, and so on. Day 5 came and it was never fixed. Harare was about 30• C, nights were hot and uncomfortable, we could barely sleep. 2. Internet was terrible. In the rooms, in the lobby, in the mezzanine. Couldn’t even open my email. Bought a local SIM card and even then, signal in the hotel was poor, I missed crucial work meetings because my phone was unable to connect to zoom. 3. Breakfast is very expensive for what you get. The first breakfast buffet I see where you get a ticket and it is taken away on your first pass. So you can’t eat more- not that I wanted but for $32 per person you would expect better. Internet worked better in the morning so I worked in my room until 10am, missing breakfast time. The main restaurant was packed so ordered room service. My food arrived 90 minutes later. 4. Housekeeping isn’t done efficiently. Every morning I came to my room after working out to find no towels to shower or dry my hands. Twice had to call reception for someone to bring me towels so I could shower. After an hour or so someone would come to empty the trash, then to make the bed, and so on. I opened the door to housekeeping 4-5 times every morning. I wish I could give a better review because staff was friendly but I am glad I checked out.

The room is very nicely laid out and comfortable and there are a few different restaurants, bars and a cafe in the hotel. It's comfortable (and warm!), but not very well maintained - my room didn't have a safe, the toilet seat was falling off, the sink was blocked, no tea bags in the room, and there were cockroaches running around at night. The breakfast was definitely not worth US$33. It was pretty much a standard hotel buffet, but didn't even offer anything beyond tea and filter coffee, even though the hotel has an espresso machine (and sells cappuccinos for $4 each), the eggs never arrived...I will not repeat this experience.

The floor needed mopping. The bathroom ceiling was leaking because of the rain. I was told to call maintenance. The ceiling by the shower was leaking too. Otherwise not bad of a stay.

Easy of parking, but my check in experience was horrible as I was put in a room with a fixed 28 degrees celsus, complained and made to wait long hours then changed into another room with a key that did not work and took 2 days to fix. The room had a broken toilet seat and the shower soap holder with left over soap from the previous occupant with is obviously leftover germs. PLEASE DO BETTER!!!!

The Food was not good and very high. They shot the price up for me. I always bring microwavable snacks on trips...the resturant would not allow me to use theirs...no microwave in room. Service at resturants was terrible. I ate there the first couple of days and then caught a taxi and went to outside restaurants. Better and cheaper including taxi fee. Overall, it is good.

I ended my stay 3 days early. When i checked in the room was actually dirty. there were food stains on the desk. There were complimentary toiletries missing. Almost as if all they really did was remake the bed and do a quick cleanup before i checked in later that day. Finding roaches in the bathroom every day of m stay was not pleasant either. Room service never got my orders right, the a/c ddnt really work and all it did was dry up the air in the room... between the sweating at night and the nosebleed from the dry air i was miserable. I get we are in COVID-19 times but most of the things i wanted were out, such as orange juice, cranberry juice etc.. there were a few other things i was displeased about but ill stop there. The food i did get was not half bad at all. the burger was really juicy and cooked right. I will not be staying there anytime soon. For the price i would rather check out Meikles.

Dirty bathroom, hair in shower wall and sink. A/C didn’t work, had to switch rooms. Only 1 towel, had to ask for more, no bath may and no hand towels. Food at the lobby cafe terrible. No safe. Smelly pillows. Will not recommend!!

Loved the rooms, enjoyed my stay, but my only advice is, settle for their buffet meals rather than the a la carte menu cause its over priced

The staff are lovely and helpful and the location is very good but these positives are largely dwarfed by the above points.
