We had a family room for 4 booked for 2 nights, as we were only visiting LEGO house but the room was too small for 4 people, and it felt very claustrophobic! There was a bit of mould and dust by the windows too. Breakfast was good enough, and the staff helped us book a taxi to Vejle train station. Overall, not a bad place to stay but only for a short visit.

This property was perfect for visiting legohouse with my son. It was across the road from legohouse and very convenient to get the free bus service to Legoland and wow park too. A lovely quiet peaceful stay. A good place to relax after busy days out. We would stay there again.

The Refborg Hotel is a gem. It’s a small, comfortable hotel with super friendly staff and great dining. The included breakfast was absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re coming to Billind.

We had a familiar room of four .It’s very difficult to move into the room,it’s very small,however the price is amazing high,, I don’t understand how everything is so expensive in this country when the offer is so poor

the condition of the room was really bad, especially the bathroom. dirty, worn, smelly and even mouldy. The temperature in the room was around 35 degrees Celsius so there wasn't much sleep. no AC or other functioning ventilation. the staff was nice and the breakfast was ok... BUT the room cost around 3000 SEK per night... For that money you can stay in a five-star hotel in any European capital. Worst hotel stay ever...

Great spot to stay to be central to everything…Lego house , Lego land, and bus station. The breakfast was delicious. Rooms were cozy and comfortable. On the smaller side but that added to the coziness!;) Grocery store right next door for any essentials you may need. Definitely would stay again

This is a small lovely hotel in a very quiet area. Right next to the lego house which is very convenient. The staff is keen to help with our traveling issues. They are the best!

This is a small hotel, with a cozy, homelike atmosphere. Yet it also houses a small, upscale restaurant which serves local, Danish dishes which are exquisite. My stay was 2 1/2 weeks, in a double room. Though I was staying alone, this size room suited me well, as it had separated sleeping, living, & bathroom areas, with two large windows, three adjustable radiators, a couch, desk, chairs, plenty of pillows and comforters, good lighting, a small TV, a dresser of drawers, an electric tea kettle with a selection of teas, organic instant coffee, hot cocoa, and ceramic cups. There were plenty of outlets for whatever I needed to charge, and a hair dryer. The hot water is plenty hot, with great water pressure! The windows open for fresh air, radiators can be dialed into whatever warmth level you need. Double bed is two twins put together, which is standard in Danish hotels. Included breakfast is a lovely daily spread with strong, hot coffee, every milk or juice you could want, bacon, eggs, selection of meats, fruits, vegetables, fresh rolls, bread, danishes, yogurt, cereals, jams, butter, cheese, teas, hard boiled eggs, served for 4 hours in the restaurant area where you can sit next to a sunny window. The staff are so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Dinner can be brought to your room. And there is help with carrying your luggage upstairs. Lovely & winding, the stairway is the only option for going up. Plan accordingly. I look forward to my next stay at the Refborg!

I always enjoy staying at the Refborg when I am in Billund for business. The quaint hotel offers comfortable accommodations and the incredible breakfast keeps me coming back.

Very nice cute little hotel. Very clean and everyone is super friendly and helpful! I would’ve given it all excellent marks except that it didn’t have a lift and if you are traveling with a full size suitcase weighing 23kg it’s kinda hard carrying up the stairs to your room. Thankfully the front desk was able to find someone to help us!

Definitely recommend the hotel, it has great location, right across the Lego House. Also the staff is really nice, and check-in/check-out process is easy as well. The room feels bit small with big luggages, but other than that, the room is perfect. In addition, the breakfast is fantastic, a great addition to the hotel.

Delightful historic property (oldest building in Billund) with an excellent location in the middle of town. Comfortable bedding. They accommodated our need for a third bed for our son. The included breakfast had excellent variety, food quality, and cleanliness. Unfortunately, the shower leaked water on to the bathroom floor - floor had no slope to the drain. Bathroom had no places to hang things. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would visit again.

There are not many options in Billund to stay overnight but this was a good choice. Spacious rooms in a good shape. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent, though on the pricier side. Parking is by the hotel and the hotel is literally in the heart of Bilund - 2 mins to Lego House and 12 mins walk to LegoLand.

Third time at Refborg. Nice as always. Nice rooms and excellent restaurant. Only downside is the breakfast which I a little disappointing. Conveniently located if you are visiting Lego House and only five minutes drive (fifteen minutes walk) from Legoland.

I know it's a first world problem, but the room was VERY hot, but not something that brings my rating down. I would definitely stay here again. We had a very nice stay at this place, friendly staff, very clean, great location and amazing food! Parking was free and just outside the door.

Friendly hotel located 5 minutes walk from the bus station and 2 minutes away from Lego House. There's a small supermarket opposite. The breakfast was delicious and we also ate in the hotel restaurant which was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the area is quiet and safe.

Upstairs has a breakout space from your rooms with a fridge, microwave, kettle and tV and sofas as well as books, games and toys for the kids including lego We loved this hotel due to location and feel. The breakout space was fantastic with comfy sofas and blankets to sit are relax and the hotel even gave us nice wine glasses to enjoy our wine which we bought from the marvellous selection they had. We arrived past check-in time but our room key & info was left for us at the door. The hotel is a bit of a maze and hard to maneuver with two kids and luggage. But overall a great room. And the best part, across the street from the Lego House, which was our reason for visiting.

Minus: Found long hair on the two beds upon check in. Plus: The staff were extremely friendly. And walking distance from Lego house.
