Basic biz stay. No problems.

The place is under major reconditioning project. I was looking for a quiet night after 14 hour flight and received it with a very clean, recently revamped room.

I was never made aware that this hotel was under a full renovation. Had I known this I would have booked somewhere else.

the place is a terrible construction zone! Do not stay here!

We needed a place to stay for an early morning flight out of SFO. The Bayshore is close to the airport and had a reasonable rate. Unfortunately the hotel was under renovation so it was essentially a construction zone with poor signage. The entry was block so we had to find an alternative door that had no sign! When we finally found our way in to the temporary lobby their computer was down so we couldn't register! We decided to get something to eat and then came back an hour later. We went to Max's Restaurant which used to be a pretty good place but is now very mediocre - don't go there. When we got back to Bayshore their computer was working again and we could register. The room was actually OK. Reasonable clean and comfortable. Our room faced the bay where planes are on their landing flight path for SFO. Fortunately there are not too many planes at night because you can hear them decelerating. Overall, once we got into the room our stay was OK.

Firstly, though the website said that "Work activity may be noticed in some areas of the hotel during your stay" is technically true, it's not accurate. The whole hotel is ringed with construction fencing with signs saying: danger-hard hat area. They've cut back to 40 rooms, and it seems like most essential functions have been restricted to a single hallway. There is no airport shuttle or restaurant (not sure if there ever was). It was really dispiriting to arrive there after a very long day of travel.
However: The staff kindly referred us to the DoubleTree Hotel across the parking lot and their restaurant, as well as the Hilton across another lot. The room on the one active floor was actually not bad; dated, but clean, with a king bed and the nicest mattress we had in 2 weeks of travelling. The bathroom was decent with good amenities, and had a shower massage shower head that was really nice, a welcome treat after a lot of time spent schlepping luggage. The wifi was free, and they also had breakfast, like real/cooked food which we missed.
So, I don't know if I'd have chosen the place had I known they were so very noticably undergoing renovation, but I spent most of the time in our room, which was discounted due to the on-going work, so, money saved.
I expect the updated place to be worth a look, and hope by then they have an airport shuttle in place, and the restaurant back in service.

I was surprised at check in that i was being charged an extra $20 per night for parking my car. This was not evident during the booking with Expedia. I had already reserved parking for the next 30 days at the lot across the street for $10 per night.

They just change the ownership so the hotel is not crowded. Nice staff. Deco is a bit old but clean. A regular 3-star experience.

The front desk attendant when we arrived they were both very friendly and extremely helpful and got us checked in earlier than we had initially planned on being there.they greeted us every time we walked in and the staff in the evening was just as awesome can't wait to come back

Very good location.

Great room and friendly staff. It was a surprise to be charged a parking fee as the website says ‘parking’, no mention of extra charge on website and is silly to be charged a Continental breakfast fee, I can see an extra charge for a special breakfast but not Continental! All great otherwise.

The hotel was nice and clean and close to the airport. The FD clerk when we check at night was ok but seems to be unhappy with his jo.

There is only one person working the registration desk. I’ve already 15 minutes and the person at front of line has just completed his registration & received room key. There are now two guests ahead of me in line for checkin and hope my wait is shorter that that on the initial guest mentioned above. My stay can only get better as the checkin has been extremely slow and pretty abysmal.

This hotel is dirty and my stay was horrible. I had no WIFI (they said it was down) and the coffee maker in my room was broke. It was very noisy at night, lots of banging outside. Went down to get continental breakfast at 8:40 am when i decided what to get kitchen worker said they were closing at 8:50 so i got nothing, they were supposed to close at 9:00 am
I will never stay here again.

Brittany Charter, manager, accommodated our needs even though this property had just changed ownership and the information on the website from Expedia had not been updated. She honored what was listed on the site. Brittany made our stay enjoyable and go with ease. THANK YOU, BRITTANY!!!!!

Out dated building, carpets, showers, furniture and beds. Overpriced breakfast , payed parking is a joke. We got back to our room at 1am after a concerts expecting to fall right asleep but both our key cards failed to work. We headed down to the front desk and were told we already checked out. I pre payed for two nights and this was our second night. I was asked for ID and proof of room receipt. I showed all those items and still had to wait 30 minutes at 1am for her to “help” me. All of our items were still in the room and we were unable to get in. The front desk had a maintenance person let us in but would not give us cards to our room that work because she said she could loose her job. It was ridiculous and I have never had that happen staying anywhere. In the morning a different lady checked us out and I told her the story, she waived the parking fee that I had no idea we had to pay in the first place as I had pre payed before our stay. I would never stay here again.

The hotel was not bad itself. Nothing great but nothing bad either. However, the mattress was awful. There were some minor things like no hand soap, only one wash cloth, and 2 trips to the front desk before the key worked but those were all minor and corrected by a very nice staff. But, the mattress was so soft and uncomfortable that I wouldn’t book a room there again.

Great location and property with good service. Room was clean. I would stay here again.

I stayed here for 1 night. The staff were friendly and the rooms are a good size. The place could use some TLC, but it was fine for one night!

The staff was kind but our room was dirty. Hair in the shower, sink and bathroom floor. There was food on the floor and under the beds.
