The best thing about this hotel is the rooms and the fact that it has been renovated in 2023. Beautiful view from the room. Location is good, but not many shops nearby. Some good restaurants near the hotel. In kilometers it’s not far to the center of George Town, but it’s much traffic, so it might take at least 30 minutes in daytime. Breakfast ok, but better in other hotels in the area. Pool close at 19:00 and closed between 11-12:00 for rinse. Mostly local tourists at this hotel.

Hotel has extremely helpful, friendly staff especially its reception personnel. Of worthy mention would be the Duty Manager Amirul. Room with seaview and a beachfront are invaluable assets of this hotel too.

Hotel was extremely dated and not kept clean at all. From ants to cigarette butts in the sink to grime and mold on the shower and hairdryer it was incredibly unpleasant. Also the spa has been closed for 2 years but the site said "spa". Breakfast buffet was inedible , room service food was terrible. There are better hotels nearby for similar prices

The property itself looks good on the outside, but inside was clearly way out dated. The rooms smells of mildew and out dated air condition. It was not cold or it was noisy. The washrooms are old and has tiny ants everywhere, and they bite. This place needs a desperate renovation. I would not recommend this property.

I like the view from my room, easy access to the beach, the pool and the location.. beautiful beach. Just some condition in the room should be maintenance and repair. Sliding cannot lock.

It was a little run-down, probably due to lack of income during Covid. But it was a very good stay. We would stay there again. Very nice staff. Excellent location. Lovely view from room.

Clean environment, but service is not good, repeated phone call for service not answered that caused me to go downstairs to order my meals in person; futher I need to pay immediately after or even before food arrive.

Overall it was a satisfactory stay in this hotel. Mr Ragu was very helpful upon my check in. Facilities and amenities are just average satisfaction. The F&B took almost 45minutes to send my 1 Fried Rice lunch meal for room service. I believe it should be better service for the next days ahead. Luckily the hotel location is nearby with malls and convenient stores and mamak restaurants.

Flamingo was good place for vacation..so cool and relax..i like their swimming pool.but for this stay,i'm not happy with breakfast service.they not privide for buffet anymore..need to order,also we had given limited choice for menu.no special request,one oerson for one set only..

I paid for deluxe room and and hotel staff cheated me and sent me to standard room which was dirty smelly with extremely rubbish bathroom. despite complaints , everyone in this hotel is liar and cheater starting from reception to their manager miss Foo..Extremely shameless hotel staff with zero support. Never ever come to this rubbish hotel....

receptionist system have to improve...long Q and take more than 1 hour for check out, i heard that same situation when check in but because i am check in late so i don't have this problem. I try to borrow basket and wish to buy some ice cube from bar reception but they said don't have...Lousy service..The room is a bit old but overall still ok...

This is an older but beautiful 17-story hotel on the beach in Tanjung Bungah. The rooms were spacious, clean, without smells or bugs. The views of the coast are beautiful. It was relatively quiet. Beautiful pool and above average beach. Service was good. The price was good value for money. Restaurant downstairs a bit pricey compared to food you can get outside.

Big clean room. tap water in the bath room very strong pressure. beware when you open the tap. haha. overall good. we had buy 1 free 1 dinner buffet during our visit. great deal. curious why after 8pm can't go down to the beach? but we didn't ask.

Good location, easy access with a 20 minute bus ride in to Georgetown and lots of international restaurants just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. The ocean view from the room was stunning but the lifts were smelly and the rooms had a hint of a moldy smell. The pool was super cool even though we just dipped our toes in it because of hygienic reasons - the pool was full of people with just normal shorts and T-shirts... Service was ok but the food at the restaurant was below average.
