Older hotel but excellantly maintained. Room vas clean and comfotable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved all the shiplap and wood in the room. Very lodgey feel. We were within 4 miles of downtown, the scenic railway, and the orchard. So many dining options nearby too.

Always a pleasure staying here. Rustic yet close to downtown
Recommend staying in second or third floor. The entry doors to the lobby chime and can bother light sleepers

The room itself was fare and out dated, the bed was alittle hard for me, the lamps and shades were like from the 60s, No microwave, the small refridg. Was in the closet very unlevel, the coffee maker was a keurig it was very dusty filled half full of water no telling how long that had been in there. The worst part was the bathroom the tub and toilet looked clean ,BUT the sink stainless was dirty and spots all on it ,the water wouldnt go down ,pulled the stopper up and sludge and hair was caked up on it ,told the young desk clerk ,,supposedly reported it ,,the stopper was gone after the next house keeping but the drain still backed up ,Nothing done I'd say...i dont think we'll be going back..

Rooms are nice and country cozy. Beds not comfortable, too firm, pillows not good. The wallspaper thin, you could hear the people next door snoring, and people be noisy in hallway.

For perspective, I chose this place based on cost and the lodge motif. Where do I begin. Let's start with the single mature bed bug that I found on the hand towel. I brought it to the desk and they moved me to another room on the other end and on another floor. Well, that one had not been cleaned in a while and had mold ring around the toilet bowl from lack of use. The bathroom mirror had tooth paste splatter on it and clearly had not been cleaned properly. On day two, we returned to the room to find they had cleaned,,, or so we thought. Moldy toilet bowl and tooth paste splatter still remained. Seems cleaning just means making the bed. Free breakfast consisted of muffins, bagels and cereal,,, no proteins. The room looked very cute and absolutely had a lodge vibe to it. I cannot in good faith recommend this place as it is. The lady at the desk said that she would speak to the owner about a refund because of the bedbug, but no refund has been issued as of yet.

Will I stay here again or go elsewhere? So many options available. YES! Most certainly.
Quaint, quiet, very affordable. Super location. The staff is so very kind, helpful and want you to enjoy your stay.

It was a pleasant trip. The room seemed to be old, so was just a bit disappointed. The tub drain plug was not usable, the air conditioner did not work (only the fan worked). Everything else was just okay.

Great log cabin style rooms. Bed was comfortable. Staff is very helpful with restaurant recommendations. We would stay her again.

The room was nice but the bed was hard and I couldn’t sleep so we only stayed 1 night and when I told the front desk employee why I was checking out early he laughed and asked if I wanted my receipt no offer for a refund

You get what you pay for. There have been a number of surface upgrades, but quality really isn't there. There is very little noise proofing so any guest coming and going through the alarmed entrances can be heard in the rooms. Additionally there is an issue with the pipes and a high pitched whine would occur frequently throughout the night - loud enough to wake us from sleep. It increased with the number of guests at the hotel. The bathroom and closet doors would not fully close and latch.
When we checked in there was residue on one of the door handles and something that looked like melted yogurt frozen in the freezer. The employees are very nice though.

Overall a great stay, comfortable and log cabinish in the rooms. Arrived late. Left early. Rooms were cozy and cute.

Nice for a one night stay but do not recommend for extended stay.

Though this property was clean and it was easy to get downtown. The heater/AC didn’t work well. The knob was broken and wasn’t able to be turned. The water in the bathtub didn’t drain well.

First issue was trying to hang up my coat ... there are no hangers and ... there is no closet rod! It was thought of, because the left side holder is there, but no one got around to putting a right side holder and rod into the closet.
In the bathroom, the plug to the tub was lying on the tub floor. Maybe they were trying to unplug the drain, because water drained very slowly and just left without finishing. The sink didn't have a plug at all - maybe they left without finishing. On Saturday night we returned to find the towels were replaced but the bed wasn't made - maybe the housekeeper left without finishing. We could hear conversations in the next room - maybe the renovators left without finishing insulation. The Saturday continental breakfast was all right, but on Sunday the breakfast started without being replenished ... no one bothered providing two days of food for the continental breakfast. I felt sorry for the desk clerk who had to take complaints ... it's not her fault when others leave without finishing. One thing for sure, I'm finished with this establishment.

Pleasant, comfortable room. Will stay here again.

It’s always a fun stay here but the owners need to be ashamed of themselves about a SERIOUS matter. You turn your local citizens away, even in times of disaster. If you can’t help out your fellow neighbors in times of need, you’re no good. This really needs to be addressed. Remember, you reap wish you sow.

Looked like a cute place to stay, but had many issues. Toilet didn’t flush properly so we had to use lobby bathroom which was very inconvenient, refrigerator did not work, so I had to keep everything in a cooler with ice, strong smell of marijuana coming from our bathroom vent all night, and hallway reeked of cigarette smoke in a non-smoking hotel. Grounds were covered in cigarette butts. Staff was very hard to find and unfortunately our room phone wasn’t working either. Made many complaints through the night and the only answer I got was “do you want to move rooms”. Asked for a refund and did not get it. Unfortunately I Would not recommend this hotel and it’s a shame as it’s in a great location.

Nice cabin style hotel with a beautiful view. Could have used a little more cleaning in the bathroom when we checked in. Otherwise a good choice with friendly staff. Housekeeping took out the trash and provided new bathroom essentials daily.

The beds were terrible. You couldn't sleep. You could hear everybody in every room coffin talking, walking absolutely zero noise barrier whatsoever between floors and between rooms. Wanted to have clean towels for the second day with four people in the room. They refuse to give us four towels. We had to force them to give us clean towels. So all at all I wouldn't stay there. I would go somewhere else

The temperature knob was missing from the AC/Heater. So we had to adjust the temp using the using the center post the knob is supposed to slide onto. It's November and the heat doesn't work, only the A/C. The room was not clean and they didn't have coffee in the morning.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay. Carol was amazing and went out of her way to please us. Also, Peter was very helpful.
We will definitely stay at Reid Ridge again.

It is a very nice place, but they can do much better with cleaning the spots that think are not very visible.

The property was very good and clean. The front desk lady was so nice. I would definitely stay there again.

This property is pretty nice but it just needs some tweaking. There was dust in the area around the baseboards and carpet that have probably been there since construction. Smudges on mirrors and refrigerator. Ice build up in freezer in fridge. The room was pretty though with wood walls which gave a cabin feel.

Stay somewhere else. There is a reason prices are low. We had 2 nights booked, but, left after one night. Room was unacceptable for several reasons. Contacted Hotels.com and talked with real person. She contacted the hotel and I was told the hotel would refund one night. After 2 weeks, still no refund.
