Property stated that it is a SMOKE FREE stay,
Immediately checked into my room # 311 … the strong stench of smoke hit me right in my face!
I immediately notified the front desk, she offered to come check it out and brought a liquid spray to spray the room and even she noticed the strong tobacco smell… she sprayed on the carpet and furniture but then it bothered my allergies as the evening and morning came!!!!
I was NEVER asked to move or be compensated for such disgusting smoke smell in the room # 311 that I was given!
Will never 👎 suggest anyone to stay there!

The free breakfast was nice. We experienced two dead crickets while we were here. One was in our bathroom when we checked into our room, and one was under our dining table as we ate breakfast.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The overall cleanliness was poor, the room was very humid during our entire 10-night stay, and we dealt with several crickets in our room each day.

I paid for a king bedroom online which is what I reserved online for and received a queen bedroom. I was told that I didn’t reserve for a king . Yet I was showing them the confirmation specifically showing that I had a king bed reservation. I paid the price of a king bedroom and that was never fixed. They also told my mother who also reserved for a king bedroom , that they no longer had kings available. Base line is this hotel is offering king bedrooms online. People pay and when you go in they invent some story with no logic and won’t give you the king bedroom yet charge you the same price. I had to sleep with my husband in separate queen beds all 3 days of my stay

The lady that checked me in was fabulous. I horrible with names, but I believe it was Kim. I came to my room and couldn’t get the ac to work she came up to my room with the maintenance man and corrected the problem. The room is very clean. The pool area is nice and clean as well. I will definitely stay here when I’m in the area.

The room was nice and clean with a weird musty smell but mattress was very comfortable sleep all night staff are super sweet and accommodating would definitely stay again

The staff at the hotel really try hard! My daughter and I stayed here on the way home from a college visit. Rather than pay exorbitant Austin prices, we stayed here. It was a very pleasant, convenient, and friendly experience. Thanks, Holiday Inn Express!

No complaints about the property itself. It was nice and clean. However, when we arrived the front desk lady was very rude. Not a way to leave a good first impression at all. Would stay again for sure and hope the next front desk person is nicer and more professional.

Kim was very helpful in trying to get my reservation through hotels.com. She wasn’t able to since the fault was with hotels.com but she put in a great effort! We have stayed at this particular hotel several times before and although we had a great stay, it wasn’t as clean and up kept as it usually is. All in all, we had a good experience and would book again, but go through the hotel instead of hotels.com.

The place was fine. The only thing that realy hit all of us was the COFFEE WAS LIKE DISH WATER. That was a real turn down and we had to go out and get coffee elsewhere!

The property has recently been updated with new beds, linens, etc. Very nice. Actually I found everything very nice with the sole exception of breakfast baked goods. I was told they were "fresh frozen" but they were hard and nasty.

I loved that i was able to check in early. However, the whole downstairs i thought was under construction. Staff did not say anything or apologized for the inconvenience. They had loud fans on everywhere. There was no breakfast and this was a bummer. We found out that there was a fire and the sprinklers went off but we had no idea. The room was nice and i appreciated Dove products in rhe bathroom. The lotion and body wash were switched so that was a tiny issue.

It’s a hard pass for me. #1 bugs- #2 not notifying us upon check in, the hotel had a cleaning service that HAD to have access to my room the next morning- they would not skip occupied rooms.

I booked 2 rooms but only 1 was available. The receptionist blamed it all on hotels.com. A second room was not available

My room felt damp and I could smell mildew. I woke up kind of congested. I mentioned it to front desk when I arrived. She did not try to move me or even come to the room to check. Nice cold air if you don't have allergies.

The hotel itself was very nice and clean. Our room was amazing very nice and super comfy. The lady at the front desk upon check in however was a different story. She was very short with words and rude. When I asked how to get to our room she says "use the elevator" thats it. I also tried to ask questions based on my reservation and price discrepancies and she kept cutting me off and being snippy. I was told she was the GM but I cannot confirm this. Either way the first people you encounter in any kind of business can make or break your establishment.

Fabulous hotel and staff!! This staff deserves a raise. They are friendly and helpful in every way. The room was clean, beds were comfortable. Area was safe and secure from what I could tell.
