Room was nasty and they took my deposit

Slightly run-down building- interesting layout with a courtyard in the middle. Not the cleanest room- dust around the corners. Could use more outlets for phones, etc. Could hear airplane noise. About what I expected for the price.

The place is pretty outdated and their customer service was not the best either. I had to ask for each and every essential item (Toilet paper, bar soap etc).
TV was not working and the bed was very uncomfortable. It was clean though, however the whole property needs an update. Only good things is convenient location or airport.
Better to pay $20 more and stay in a proper hotel.

Had a good time, got checked in super quick, great staff, secure at night, great location to places and things, slept good, I'd stay again.

There was a terrible smell. The floor was pretty nasty and the bathroom was clean but somehow still looked dirty. There’s no where to put your stuff down there is a couple hangers below the tv but that’s it.

The law enforcement will harass you if your from out of town and they think you don’t belong. Extremely low end motel…only reason i stayed was because i couldn’t get a refund. Front desk was nice and easy to work with…not willing to come back. Shower was moldy stayed for a week and never seen housekeeping in my room once…planes flying over head all night long. Thats what i get for being cheap though. I would suggest being well armed considering some of the individuals i encountered.

While it was within budget for our travel plans I would've much rather spent a bit more on a slightly nicer hotel. Our neighbors were either inconsiderate, or the walls were paper thin (or both) as we heard the upstairs neighbor walking about as well as the neighbors on either side of us, with one bickering at all hours with her daughter, and her dogs barking each time a plane flew overhead.
A lot of the furniture in the room as well as the walls are in dire need of repairs as the nightstands, desk, and doors were all chipped and peeling. The walls in the bathroom and near the sink all appeared to have mold spots. Further, the lampshades, TV, undersides of tables/the bed, and the tops of shelves were all covered in a layer of dust. The ceiling is also in need of a proper dusting as corners or visibly covered in cobwebs. The bedlinens were pilling and did not properly fit the bed, which caused the corners to come off the bed multiple times and exposed a gained mattress underneath. Our curtains were also off their rail, which meant that we could not properly cover the window for privacy.
The neighborhood does not feel unsafe, but the doors were incredibly hard to close and lock without slamming them and pushing your body against it to get the lock to latch.

the Motel provided an inexpensive and convenient overnight stay for an early morning flight out of O'Hare airport. Only serious flaw is it is located under the flight path for incoming flights, so it is noisy all night.

Read all the good reviews, but very disappointed once we walked into the room. The floors were dirty and looked like they were not even cleaned. You could see shoe prints and salt from outside on the floor. Random hole in the wall and there were yellow spots on the ceiling. The place doesn't feel safe as the outside is free for anyone to walk. Heard neighbors yellowing and closing their door loudly at night. You could hear the planes flying over super loudly in the morning too. Receptionist was nice, but that might be the only thing good about this place. Definitely would not recommend as they need to do a lot of remodeling on this place. Housekeepers definitely do not do their job here.

Book a room with a microwave and refrigerator. On the day of check-in, when I went to my room, it didn't have a microwave or refrigerator. I find myself in a small room, without even a smoke or carbon dioxide detector. Smell of urine and dog poop everywhere. I go to complain at the office and the employee tells me that they don't have any other rooms available. I asked to speak to the manager, and she told me that the room I had booked had a water leak, and that I should stay in that room that was going to be cheaper. Trusting what she promised, I agreed to stay. The next day, when I checked out, I asked to the same manager how much I was finally going to pay for the room, and to my surprise, the manager denied that she had talked to me and that she had offered me the discount. I complained to her, but she chose to kick me out of the motel. An unpleasant experience. I learned a lesson in this, not to use any app to order food, or book tickets, or hotels or car, since she told me on the day of check out that she couldn't do anything for the price of the room because I had booked it through Expedia. She knew all along that she couldn't do anything I had paid for, and yet she lied to me. No more apps. From now on, I will make reservations directly with the company.

What I didn't like is I stayed there for a while and they make you clean your own room I asked for clean sheets and they dropped the clean sheets off to my room instead of making my bed for me which I found repulsive and shacking that I pay the kind of money that I pay there and I have to clean my own room and change my own sheets there which that's mostly the main reason I didn't appreciate that at all I'm paying that kind of money and I should be able to get room service not for me to do my own room service no matter how long I've been staying here or not I should still get room service upon requests and that's be told that don't drop it off to me or hand me their cleaning supplies and broom tell me here you go expect me to do their job for them when I'm paying 70 80 bucks a day not to mention of something's going on at the Rosemount I have to pay $600 for four or five days but other than that I have no other complaints the coffee is good but that's the only complain I have is why I had to clean my own room and change my own sheets?

It was Christmas Eve about 6:00 p.m. as soon as I walked in the girl behind the desk was immediately over rude. She said my ID was too faded and I could not get a room I already paid for on hotels.com. I walked out in 2 minutes later came in and told her I'll be back with my ID not my driver's license. She canceled my booking. I contacted hotels.com the next day and I lose my $60. So motel 6 is a scam do not shop there and hotels.com is also a scam do not prepay later do not use them.

Checking in was really the only thing that was quick and easy. But the room I was in I did not feel safe or comfortable I ended up checking out that same night. Heading down to my car I was asked by other people staying there if I would like to buy drugs off of them. I noticed a high traffic of people coming in and out from a room or just picking up stuff. So yeah, definitely not for me.

My flight arrived at O'Hare very late at night and it would have been around 02:00 AM by the time I reached my friend's place in the far western suburbs.
This Motel 6 location turned out very convenient. I stayed overnight and the next morning I joined my friend.
The rooms are no frills but functional -- heat worked, bed/room/bathroom was clean.
For the price I paid through Expedia, it was a bargain.

Planes flying overhead all night, but good other than that.

Boogers all over the walls, blood on the bathroom door, urine stains in the shower, fruit flies flying out of the faucet, light doesn’t work, cigarette hole in the blanket, bathroom door doesn’t close. Room smelled of cigarettes and weed. Black mold in shower. Ac unit was falling apart. Front door hardly locked. Dead bugs all over the floor. Good for when you need a hotel on a whim, but overall should be your absolute last resort.
