Hotel is in a good quiet location close to Carvoeiro and other beach attractions in the area. Easy parking and in good conditions althought some areas would need renovations. Pool is nice and kept clean. Superior room was recently renovated and of a good size with balcony/ side seaview. Restaurant is probably the area that would benefit of some improvements on quality and variety at breakfast and dinner.

My family loved our stay. My room was big with a cute little porch with beatiful garden views and a nice bath. Breakfast was always excellent with a great selection of Portuguese pastries and cheese. We had breakfast on the outside tables with wonderful views of nature and surrounded by little cute birds. The swimming pools are so inviting and the indoor pool and the jacuzzi is wonderful for people who visited when the whether is still too cold for outside pool or beaches, like us. My only complaint about the indoor pool is that it closes too early, so we didn't have time to enjoy it as we were out sightseeing the Algarve, and about the lack of wall sockets in our room. And last but not least, we so loved the view of the Centeanes beach from the top of a cliff just in front of the hotel! We've got nice pictures of the landscape from there and went down the path on the cliff and had a drink on the bar by the beach (even my 70-year-old father-in-law was able to do that, but be careful! Go by the road if you're not up for an adventure!). Oh, I nearly forgot to say how we enjoyed sunbathing around the pool or the big garden close to the cliffs and the sangria from the bar(had me hooked on that). They also offer massages we couldn't have because they were fully booked already, so book early if you want it! Price was great for all we were offered. All the staff was very friendly. We went to Carvoeiro city centre by foot and it took us less than 20 minutes walking lazily.

We chose the hotel as it is situated at a very nice beach (walking distance). There was also an access to a nice viewing area of the the beach above a cliff. That was a bonus. The room was clean. The wifi was not reaching our room so that was a bummer. The breakfast buffet was excellent - there were ample choices.

We recommend this hotel as it was excellent value. It is well located for both the beach and the town and it had a great pool and other facilities. Some of the ameneties and room features are older than you might expect but overall it was very clean and bright.

Our room was recently refurbished and we were very happy with it. Breakfast is very good.

Bathroom was quite dirty, rust around sink and taps, hair in the bath, water coming out of shower would stay hot then warm then cold then repeat.

Very pleasant stay at well located hotel. Staff very friendly and efficient. Services were good. Breakfast was excellent with good choice and freshness. Only negative was the juices - not fresh and very sweet. We could walk to the beautiful town of Carvoeiro from our hotel (less than 10 minutes). Parking on site with overflow car park. Nice views from hotel. Pool was clean and nice. Lots of sun loungers. Overall, very good stay and would return.

Good option for one or two nights, nice gardens surrounding the hotel. and a good beach nearby. Room was okay but has a small balcony. Wifi connection good. Breakfast gets busy in the mornings

The service was fair but not good. The hotel is very dated with poor quality decor & paintwork. We had booked for B&B but were told on arrival it was room only! This is either an Expedia mistake or the hotel got it wrong! Either way we will not stay here again

Excellent value. Staff were excellent. The breakfast had everything you could want and very good. Room was comfortable and clean. We stayed 4 nights. Perfect location for the area hikes and tours. Many very good restaurants in easy walking distance.

Everyone that we dealt with from the staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was good. The location was good. About a 10 minute walk to the beach. The room was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

We drove to the Algarve. Parking spaces are tight, but we always found a place to park the car. Baia Cristal proximity to the beaches is fantastic. Front desk reception extremely helpful. We walked to the Praia de Vale Centeanes every day. Kayak trip to Benagil Algar and dinner on the beach were a highlight.

Some of that is beyond the hotels control (exchange rates) but not all and, generally, its not such good value for money anymore. We love it but Ive left the last few times thinking that I could do better for the money

Location is optimal for wandering. Beautifully situated on a cliff overlooking the Atlantic and a short stroll into Carvoeiro. Property was well-maintained. Food was plentiful with good quality/taste overall. Reception and Manager Gil were very professional and helpful with dinner reservations, taxis, etc. Biggest complaint was with the housekeeping as our room was not well kept at all. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

One day stay not enough to pass definitive judgment. Overall the hotel is nice, very close to the beach and with relatively easy access. Rooms and breakfast are average. Clean and comfortable makes it a good 3 stars

I picked this place on a last minute decision to attend the Carvoeiro Black and White festival. So we didnt arrive until early evening and departed the next day. We had an hour by the main pool/patio area that was very pleasant, but the pool was a little too cool to enter. Ive stayed in other Portuguese hotels and I think it must be due to regulations that you must wear a swimming cap for indoor pools, we didnt want to pay €5 each for a cap so gave that a miss.Room was spacious with a fridge, TV etc. Bathroom was a little bated but functional.Breakfast finished too early on Sunday (10am) and check out was non negotiable noon.All in all a good value stay.
