Check in and service was great! Room and view was beautiful, beds weren't the most comfortable and there was a lot of noise from above but overall a great stay.

Beautiful hotel with unending views. Lovely restaurant with excellent food and views.
No pool…? Didn’t expect that with a large resort.
Noisy neighbors the first night, but staff addressed it. Nice stay.

Shower in my room was not working. They did not give me a new room and told me to shower in the gym. They told me that they cannot accommodate me or deduct my stay because I used Expedia. Not even help me deduct my parking.

It was just what we needed; quiet. Thank you!

Every staff member we came in contact with was exceptional - very polite, always greeted with a smile & willing to help if needed. I have to say, the bellmen in particular are extraordinary - always so happy & kind and go above and beyond. We love staying at the Westin Bear Mountain. The only thing I can think of that could be better is the labeling of gluten free and other allergens when dining on NYE but all questions were answered promptly and clearly by staff members. We can’t wait to come back.

The service was absolutely lovely and the beds were very comfortable, but otherwise…meh. Amenities are brutal, keep expectations low (don’t hope for a hot tub, it’s a cold, dingy old mineral pool, not sure why it’s even open in the winter?). Outrageously expensive pet and parking fees, especially without underground parking. The other hotel on Bear Mountain is lovely, stay there if you visit.

Asked for a 30 minute late checkout was told its 50$/- per hour.
Asked for a room with better view as i was on my a birthday vacation. Was sent to the wrong room was made to swtich rooms and didnt do anything little to make it up
Was told its 50$ additional said yes.
During checkout was charged 50$ per night.
Not good service..not recommeneded. I have been to mulitple resorts and such little things enhaces your experience and stay....and they did not check any box. Atleast be sweet...

I thought the cost of parking was a bit overpriced considering there were no other obvious options. I found out the next day there was free public parking, but it wasn't obvious that this was also for overnight. It isn't easy to get to Bear Mountain other than drive your own car.

Did not like having to pay $30.00 per day for unsecure outdoor parking.

Our room was ready early, it had a gorgeous view of the golf course and mountains, and was very quiet. Very comfy beds! We had to spend the night since I had to be in Victoria for medical tests, and therefore didn’t feel like leaving our room very much. We ordered room service, and like all room service menus, prices were high, but the food was good, and the convenience of not having to leave our room was a bonus. The only slight criticism was that the food was only warm and not nice and hot; and the one piece of fish I got with my fish and chips was very tiny.
Overall, would highly recommend this hotel and their lovely staff.

One of the my best hotel stays in recent years. Staff really cared about the guests. Especially the doorman, he heard from other staff that we were going to see the salmon runs and gave us recommendations on places to visit where we could get a better look.
I apologize for not getting his name but he was great.

The resort was grand and spacious. Room and patio was also very spacious. October there is only heat and no air conditioning. Our room, with all windows open was way too hot. They apologized but there was no solution. Not enough car charging. TV was slow with very few free options. Most staff was very kind and helpful. Views on "Course Side" were spectacular!

Did not get the view from the room we booked and there was no pool and hot tub.

It’s a beautiful resort but hated that after spending over $300 a night before tax, golfing 18 holes with a cart rental that we had to pay $30 for parking ! There was a sign saying park free if golfing and or using the amenities so why did we get charged ? Definitely a deterrent to future stays

I wish they had hotel socks and coffee available in the lobby.

All aspects were great and the re-vamped lounge/dining lounge is awesome.

I was very disappointed that there was not a pool or a sun deck at the resort. Expedia didn’t highlight that fact. If we wanted to use the pool next door it was a $45 fee per person. Never In all my hotel stays have I experienced anything like that. I took photos of a deck that had empty flower pots and dog dropping on it, very uninviting. We finally found the hot tub in the morning, it had empty beer cans and wet towels all around it and the water was dirty.
The best part of the hotel was the outstanding staff. Everyone was so nice. The Spa was great, I had the best pedicure.

We were there for 5 days, and the bathroom supplies were re-stocked. cleaning wasn't done, the just replaced water the 2 bottles of water. The hotel does a lot of false advertising about having a pool.. we had to pay extra to go swimming.
