We had a nice stay. The room was clean. The gentleman at check in was friendly. Breakfast was simple and excellent. The proximity to the aquarium and Kangamangus was great. We will definitely come again.

Great location! Just across the street from the amazing Thompson House Eatery and with the Ellis River running right behind it’s a win win.

A very nice location & value for money. The stay was pleasant with a good breakfast! Quite good!
The bed was too soft for us-- ended by having back pain.
Expected to have a microwave& a sofa - which would have been convenient for a family with kids. Unfortunately was not there in our room...

We have stayed here a few times. I thought the bathroom was a bit run down. Mold in the grout and a few tiles were ether moldy or dirty.
There was pistachios shells on our floor

We stayed here back in Oct' 23 after going to the Fryeburg Fair and we enjoyed it. The veiw on the patio off our room looking out to the mountains during fall was amazing. So my wife wanted to go to the White Mtns again and said she wanted to stay here. This was mainly due to the jaccuzi tub, ugh ....she kills me ha ha. Well this trip was just as nice albeit our room was on the backside this time and at the very end next to a side entryway. Unfortunately I would not recommend room #17 or #18 which was across from ours (I think its 18) because of this entryway. Not sure if we had less energetic ppl above us last time or it was vacant but at 10:30 pm some guests checked into their room above us 😒. First these ppl were not in anyway respectful of how late it was or concerned that their was other guests in rooms around them. They left shortly after coming into their room like hurricane katrina. They returned around 12-12:30 for round 2, stomping on the floor, dropping bags continuously. Now maybe they were just being normal, ill give them that but the floors/our ceiling seemed to have NO insulation or sound barrier/blocking qualities. Big deep thunderous bass sounding boom, boom, thud......until 3am. Nope didnt get much sleep! Upon check-in I spoke to the man at the desk, I was ignored and he only made eye contact with my wife while solely communicating with her. Kim (wife) actually brought this up to me as she felt uneasy with it and said it was really disrespectful.

Nice, clean, homey. Brings back nostalgia of using the old-fashioned room key (loved that). Very quiet area.
I just wish they had an elevator. Lugging bags up the stairs can be a challenge! Also, the hot chocolate does not taste like hot chocolate. That's gotta go! I prefer Swiss Miss with hot water, to be honest. :)

Very nice, relaxing stay at the Lodge at Jackson Village - from the staff at check-in, room, king-sized comfy bed, clean and ample bathroom, and complimentary breakfast. Great location right across the street from the XC ski trails and heart of Jackson Village. Easy walk to the covered bridge and around the center.

Gas fireplace was not working in the main dining area when we arrived, so very disappointed from the start. Then, Spectrum TV remote would not allow fast clicking, kept shutting the TV off, had to ask for another remote, but it seems its Spectrum service, the spinning wheel to get to other channels is delayed way too long, not normal. First morning, we were told the dining area gas fireplace could not be fixed for 3 weeks, so the dining area was VERY cold for breakfast each day even though they tried to use little electric space heaters. I just want to say, the rooms were good, they were warm and toasty, and our view of the river was great. Very comfy beds, larger than normal mini fridge was nice perk. Our door lock was a little bent and we could see daylight all around our door to the hall, so we used towels to keep out the draft& light. Overall, it was a good place to stay and nothing that an extra sweater couldn't fix in the breakfast room. Waffles were tender and the blueberry and strawberry sauces were very nice. Twinkies and Yodels were sort of strange to have at breakfast, but my hubby indulged anyway!

Not a huge amount to rave about, fine for a short stay, but wouldn’t recommend for more than a few nights. Great that there are two beds per room, rooms were somewhat clean and heaters worked well. Rooms need upgraded, poor paintwork, bulbs hanging out of ceiling and lamps, linen is old and marked, duvet isn’t covered and can see stains. Front of house staff speak very limited English, upon arrival they thought I wanted to cancel 3 nights but was simply asking that I check the cost quoted before signing. My friend PJ’s went missing and no one understood this when asked if they could check their laundry room, they thought we needed laundry done, once they somewhat understood the staff insisted it was coordinated by FOH staff and that there was nothing in their laundry. Later the next day they managed to locate these (unwashed amongst their laundry) but took a while to establish the issue at that point we just asked for them back not to be washed at the risk of loosing them for a second night. Front door isn’t locked overnight and reception is not 24 hours, definitely not the safest. All cutlery and plates at breakfast are disposable, no consideration for how damaging this if for the environment. There isn’t a huge hotel capacity to justify this wastefulness! Could definitely be more eco conscious. Not sure what they put in the ‘shampoo’ but don’t use, it doesn’t wash your hair and feels like body wash. The surrounding town and areas are beautiful and well worth a visit.

Older but solid facility. Still using room keys! Exterior doors do not appear to be locked even at night.
Plenty of room with a little balcony. Great hot water and pressure. Friendly staff.

We have been coming to white mountains past couple of years and this spot is by far the one we liked the best! Cynthia is a dream! She was so helpful and thoughtful and really made us feel like we were friends or family! God bless her!
The set up to this place is amazing for the price! River right on the grounds and a firepit right next to it? Also has a tennis court and pool for the summer trip we will be reserving! The owners really did a good job with the cleanliness to this place and very cute rooms! Just amazing for the price!!! I mean look at the views from your room?! Whats not to love?!

This property was cute and easy to find. The room was nice and clean and big. The staff that greeted me when I arrived was very nice. The back of the property was cute with the stream in the back. My only thing would be to make sure you check the windows and sliding doors in the room. I got there at night and both were unlocked and I had a room on the first floor looking out into the woods.

The room was comfortable and spacious. The walls were very thin and noise carried from above bedrooms making it hard to sleep.
Breakfast was plentiful but uneven in quality.
Host was pleasant yet hard to engage. We are familiar with the area so did not need much assistance or guidance.
Overall, an ok stay.
