The front desk staff was wonderful. The room needed some extra attention though, the AC unit vents were full of debris and dust and made for a slightly unpleasant stay

5 stars all the way. Saw several different front desk employees during my stay and all were super pleasant and professional. The indoor pool was nice and clean. The free breakfast had a large variety of choices and all was delicious. The room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay again.

I was extremely pleased with the overall cleanliness and service. Every employee was helpful and nice. The breakfast each day was amazing and I enjoyed the free coffee and tea in the lobby available all day long. Would certainly stay here agai .

Grady place to stay

I travel a lot for work, always staying at chain hotels, mainly for consistency and price. Hampton Inn & Holiday Express are my go-to hotels. For personal travel, I've also stayed at luxury accommodations. For either work or play, I am pragmatic. A room has to be clean, comfy bed with lots of good pillows, walk-in shower, adequate free breakfast, walking distance of dinner option, and bonus points for an indoor pool that is perfect 85 degrees (not too hot or cold). THIS sweet small-town hotel is THE BEST place I've ever stayed. It had ALL the above, plus little things like plenty of wall hooks for hanging clothes bathing suits and towels (have always wondered why more hotels don't have hooks!!) and even a night light built into The bathroom plug so that you don't have to turn on the blinding overhead when going potty in the middle of the night. Again, GENIUS!! My hubby also raved about the wonderful oatmeal and perfect bacon! AND too, both the morning staff and night staff were cordial, knowledgeable, and very southern- charm friendly. When leaving, I told the staff at the front desk that I wish I could take this hotel with me everywhere I traveled. Congrats to the management, employees & hardworking maids for a job well done! PS I rarely leave reviews because most places or mediocre. This little hotel knocks it out of the park and deserves raves!

I stayed one night to visit a friend in Culpeper. The room was clean and well supplied. The front desk staff both check-in and out were friendly and efficient.

Excellent hotel. Clean. Very pleasant and thoughtful staff - anticipated our needs at check-in giving us extra linen for children without us asking. BEST breakfast we've ever had at a chain hotel like this. Everything on the buffet was fresh, and there was great variety. We've decided to book the same place on our return trip.

Staff very friendly and helpful

Property was fresh and new and in a safe, well lit location. Breakfast was delicious! Staff both in the eveing and in the morning were friendly, courteous, and polite. Our bathroom could have been cleaner. There was mold in the bottom of the shower and floor was dirty. But nice amenities and clean sink area with plenty of towels.

From the moment we walked in the staff (Clara) welcomed us with hospitality and kindness. We stayed 5-nights and it was consistently welcoming with staff, clean, and overall a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend staying here and it is close to everything. Thank you for caring about the customers experience and having great staff in place!

This particular establishment was the best Hotel by far. My family and I was in town for a wedding. We chose this place for the amenities. Although, everything was up to par food was good. Staffing was nice. The building was extremely clean. If I can have any drawbacks was the gym was a bit small but I had it to myself so I didn’t mind it. 10 stars

Room was great!

Everything was like it should be.

We booked through Expedia and ended up having a handicapped accessible room, which wasn't advertised as such. Didn't really need or like the "roll-in" shower. Other than that the motel was a great intermediate stop on a longer trip.

Staff was friendly despite the late hours we checked in. Unfortunately the bed linens were stained and bathroom sink was clogged…breakfast was OK.
