Comfortable room although decor & furniture are dated

Great location for exploring cradle mountain. Rooms are modern, well appointed and super clean. Breakfast and dinner is buffet and well worth the money. Hotel is warm has a great vibe and relaxing little nooks with fireplaces dotted around the place. Well worth a return visit

Great location just a short drive to the info centre and shuttle bus to the walks and Lake.Very friendly reception and easy access to our room from the carpark. Liked that the hotel was all under one roof - felt cosier than being in separate chalets. Our room was spacious and comfortable though the bathroom in need of refurbishment. Limited choice on the evening bar menu if you didn't want the buffet dinner but they were happy to modify the slider so it was gluten free. Enjoyed visiting the Art galleries adjacent to the hotel.

Needs a massive overhaul. Out of date, musty, clean-ish, poor quality food and service.

Very comfortable accommodation and a great region to visit. Dove Lake a recommended walk. Devils@cradle an informative project worth visiting.

Not enough food options available, but beautiful property and rooms convenient to cradle mountain.

For the price you would expect air conditioning (fan provided)
Beds very soft and sink in the middle, very uncomfortable

Room was normal, staff service was normal.

Wonderful cabin in remote area. The scenery is wonderful and you really are amongst the bush. Rooms are comfortable and well equiped. Restaurant provides adequate choice. Service was friendly and helpful. It would be helpful if it was stated that there is no wifi or phone reception in the cabins, only in the main lodge.

Lovely stay in the beautiful Cradle Mountain National Park! The food, drinks, and amenities were amazing, and all the staff was lovely and very professional. Would love to stay there again.

Breakfast was good and property was nice and cozy overall an average stay. For the condition of the property, I felt it was way over priced.
Few areas to improve - Mattress was so uncomforable, it just sank in as soon as I slept in.
Floor board of the hotel room was very weak and made all sorts of squeeking noise even beating the sound of the TV.
The TV and technology offered was quite poor. The TV could not be connected to apps or no smart options.

Fantastic location and wonderful staff.
Heater was on in our room when we got there and it was very hot in our room to start though, had to air it out for half an hour!
Food was great, shower pressure was quite low, could have done with a couple of extra pillows in the wardrobe. It would be great if you could cast to the TV from your phone.

Spacious, clean and comfortable. Lovely hospitality. Wonderful buffet breakfast. Perfect start to a day of hiking at the Cradle Mountain tracks. Shared guest lounge by the fireplace is such a nice touch.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, only 5 minutes' driving from visitor centre. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bar provide good food. The room is a bit aged but still comfortable.

It was a good choice.

Stayed for a couple of nights to explore the surroundings. While the nature didn’t disappoint, the accommodation somewhat did.
We had significant problems with internet access (or rather lack thereof) in our room. The front desk suggested tha we use lounge area but even there the signal was “spotty”. Besides I needed to be contactable for work and personal reasons during the night - sleeping in the lounge room somehow did not appeal to me. In todays world in a hotel of this class (and charging these rates) reliable internet connection is as essential as having running water in the room.

Basically no internet and no replacement for water and tissue and reception never picks up the phone even it’s only 5pm

Its good price and location. Cons is need update on facilities, need to make breakfast buffet more interesting

Beautiful property, saw Golden Echidna, paddy melon wallabies and wombat in resort

This is a very nice hotel and very friendly staff. The bush location near Cradle Mountain is excellent. Although somewhat cheaper than some nearby alternatives, we nevertheless felt it was average value for money. A big disadvantage is that they permit smoking on the tiny balcony near each room. If someone is smoking on the next-door balcony you will need to shut your door. This is not appropriate for a supposedly eco-friendly location.

The hotel was great as was the location. We don’t usually need much assistance from hotel staff but this stay was an exception due to illness. We were very thankful for the help of Renee, the assistant manager. And the one of us who could eat thought the buffet breakfast was the best we had in Tasmania.

The accommodation was so-so!
The pillows were so high (the long ones, used more for display than comfort) it hurt my neck. When I asked Tom at the front desk for flat regular pillows, he said the hotel didn't have any!
I then asked one of the room staff and they were only too happy to oblige!!
The walls between the rooms are gyprock and do not have any insulation, so we could hear the LOUD TV in the next room till 11.30pm and the old man next door, probably hard-of-hearing, wasn't happy that we asked him to turn it down.
DON'T even try the buffet dinner! For $85 per person it was absolutely terrible. Dry, unsavoury meat, tasteless veggies left too long under the heat lamps. The pumpkin soup was watery and had no flavour of pumpkin.
The (foreign) serving staff were fantastic and friendly.
Great place to stay, but eat out at Peppers Cradle Mountain, the food is a lot better there.
