The drain in the shower was slow to evacuate and it was clogged . Pillows were flat and stained along with the mattress cover . The television channel were more or less all local channels offered limited viewing options .

The hotel smelt like marijuana throughout the hallways. The entrance light switch in the room was hanging out of the wall.

When checking into La Quinta in Vicksburg the man working the front desk stated he did not have a reservation for me and my family. He refused to look at my confirmation and basically told me he had cancelled my reservation and gave my room away to someone else. I highly do not recommend.

The room we were assigned wreaked of cigarette smoke. They did assign us to another room for our 3 night stay, but when changing the room in their computer, they set it for a one-night stay. Thankfully, I caught it early when I went up to the counter to ask for a second key. Otherwise, the hotel was what you would expect from a La Quinta stay.

Horrible. We arrived and he said we don’t have a room. Everything was booked, and he didn’t honor our reservation. Now every hotel was full and we had to drive an extra hour till 1am when we had reservations for several hours.

Unable to reschedule my stay; free cancellation was nice but then I had to rebook at a higher price. Bed was comfortable. Hotel was quiet and in convenient location. Hotel seemed older (the side chair in our room was kinda gross) and kinda dirty, but laminate floor in room was new, yeah! Shower was great, hot and good pressure, clean. Breakfast was OK- juice, yogurt, powdered scrambled eggs, sausage, HB eggs, mushy hashbrowns, instant oatmeal/ grits, waffle maker/ syrup. Coffee was kinda sad, with just powdered coffeemate and clumpy sugar. Half & half would have been nice/ standard in my opinion. Pet friendly worked well- I didn't smell pet smell anywhere. Front desk was nice enough.

Was not what we expected from a La Quinta. It did the job that provided us a safe and affordable place to stay but will probably stay at the Marriot next door next time.

Everything was wonderful. The breakfast was a nice treat. I take my husband there for his birthday so he can go to the casino every year. My treat is the jet spa.☺️

My room was dirty had water bugs in shower and bathroom. Empty whiskey bottle in night stand drawer Little or no hot water for shower.

The front desk was unattended for several minutes when I arrived, though the clerk is very pleasant when he arrives. The hotel still hasn’t secured the side doors (I complained about that in August) with key card entry. The halls were hot and somehow the room got hot when I turned the AC up overnight.. it was a frosty night outside… and I had a hard time getting the room to cool down. The electric outlets on the lamps didn’t work. I have doubts that the sheets were actually changed… there were a few hairs, as well as a hair or two in the tub. The fan in the bathroom was obnoxiously noisy and the toilet water would not stop running. Wall electric outlets are really loose.. seems like a danger. This place needs an overhaul.

Several Weeks before our stay, we requested the first floor since we have a dog. At 3:30 pm check we were given a room on the second floor. The receptionist was abrupt and showed no concern.
The first room had a Frig that did not work. The second room reeked of cigarette smoke.
We expected to watch our favorite team in a Bowl Game that night on ESPN. The printed card in the room said that ESPN was available but it was not.
Hair Dryer didn’t work.
Overall a poor experience.

I have stayed here multiple times now. It is a good place to stop on our travels and is dog friendly. The staff has always been great. However the property is a bit worn. I am glad the owner is finally putting money into the property. We love stopping here and visiting the restaurants downtown.

Roaches -dirty carpets -in dire need of paint and furniture repair. Housekeeper there very helpful with keys that did not work.

The staff was very helpful and listened to our concerns. However, the first room we stayed in (220) the bathroom sink/shower had no hot water and it was leaking from the handle, which was also broke and there was a roach in there. We were able to be moved to another room (226) took 30 minutes for hot water and we found 5 roaches. Then when we got up for breakfast my stepdaughter had the yogurt (strawberry banana) which expired on the 16th of December and ended up getting sick in the car on the way home. Overall the stay was ok for one night but, they didn’t live up to the La Quinta name. Staff was very sweet though.

Staff was attentive and friendly. Property was very dated, room was clean but had some sort of overly strong deodorizer covering up something bad. Found a cockroach in the bathroom and not a large water bug but a small, gross one. Half the receptacles didn’t work and the other ones that did need to be replaced as anything you plug in hangs out due to age. Hard bed and dirty pull out couch. An overall bad stay.

The front night desk man on Thanksgiving night was rude he knocked on my door bc I have small grandkids one of which is disabled and screams a lot ..knocked on my door and I immediately apologized for the noise and that he said it’s been going on for a while and I’m the adult to control my children/child. I attend o. Complaining bc I was very aware that I was an adult and unfortunately due to my child disability that’s one of the things I have to deal with.. I will never go back to that hotel

Used Hotel.com to book this property after many hours of driving during a roadtrip. When I tried to check in, learned that property was sold out, even though Hoel.com said there were still seven rooms available. After finding another room, had to call Hotel.com to get a refund, which is never easy. Highly disappointed with the entire experience.

Toilet was broken. Hair dryer did not work. Kleenex ran out after two pieces. No phone in room. TV too small and channels not set up. The problem was that the TV channels had to be downloaded, and no personnel at hotel knew what to do. Front desk lady said that was Housekeeping’s area, and Housekeeping was not there.

The type of room we booked was not available when we checked in. This was discovered after they sent us to a room that either hadn't been cleaned or someone was already in. The Manager open and immediately closed the door when our key card would not work. They did give us a discount to compensate for the inconvenience. Overall the hotel needs some serious maintenance. Carpets had stains and frays. Paint was chipping in many places. The side door did not lock and anyone could walk in. On the bright side the beds (not the sleeper sofa) was comfortable and they had nice fluffy towels.

Lartriese (forgive if I spelled it wrong), was EXCELLENT! She was patient, she listened and was very helpful. I’m t was like a family member was helping me out!
I’ll definitely be back and I’ll definitely recommend to ask for her!

Musty smell. Used towel in room. Trash not emptied. Both beds looked like it had been sat on and rumpled. Clumps of hair came out from under the door. Night attendent was grumpy. Breakfast was fair. Not enough coffee. Coffee was cold. Water dripping in sink and tub. We did not get the King Bedroom that we paid for. Got 2 double beds.

The hotel needs updating. There was an odor in the hotel that caused me to become ill to my stomach. The furniture was stained in the rooms and the lobby furniture had tears and was obviously worn. In total, I spent about 30 minutes from check in to check out. The staff were super sweet and very apologetic.

The room was supposed to be a nonsmoking room, but it smelled like an ashtray with some cleaning spray mixed in. The hot water didn’t work, it didn’t even get warm. Could hear everyone in rooms next to us and in the hallways with our TV on.
