Friendly staff, clean room, and comfortable bed.

We booked a 2 night stay in a 1-bedroom King. We checked in around 7:00 p.m. on a Friday, and the personnel were very friendly, greeting us and both having a nice, professional demeanor. Our room was on the 3rd floor, and it was clean, but a little warm. So, we decided to turn the A/C on, but it wouldn’t work. We called the Front Desk and were told someone would come and look at it. We decided to leave to get a quick bite, and explore the surrounding area, but the door wouldn’t lock, meaning it could be pushed open without a key card. I went to the Desk this time and reported the issue. The attendant moved us to a different room because of the multiple issues. Not only did he move us, he actually upgraded us to a King with a pull-out sofa bed. We didn’t know about the upgrade until we walked into the room. We appreciated the upgrade. The pool/ whirlpool were clean and comfortable. The breakfast food was delicious and hot with both a mini-pancake and waffle makers. Overall, my family and I would stay again and recommend this Hotel!

You could hear the people above stomping around, the people talking in the next room. The fridge was broken and super loud. There was hair in the towels and no fan in the bathroom. The pool was murky and I did not want my daughter to swim in it. The bed was comfy and breakfast was decent. Definitely will not stay again.

We got to hotel very late after informing them of a late checkin. Then when we got there, the system was down and we had to wait over an half of hour before we could get our room after a long 6 hour drive. No compensation for our inconvenience.

The hotel was very nice and comfortable. You do however have to be let into the pool area by the front desk staff, which was strange to me. We had drinks in paper cups and they were not allowed. The breakfast was nice. Overall, a very nice one night stay.

Broken pool, no prior notice to staying at the hotel. This amenity was one of the reasons why this hotel was chosen.
Heater in bedroom is as loud as a freight train, so has to be off to sleep.
Light by bed was broken.
Shower was weak stream w only 1 setting where the water was not a trickle.

The breakfast was ok. They had those gross premade omelets which are microwaved, just make trays of scrambled eggs or don't offer eggs. Waffle maker was your best option followed by cereal.

The rooms and the property were not properly clean. Breakfast was below average. The breakfast gentleman was not helpful or courteous at all. He would be on his phone and give a look like not to be bothered. 2/11/24, 8:45 AM he said no syrup for French toast. Garbage food and !!!!
The front staffs were beyond amazing. Very nice and helpful all the time. I checked in on 2/8/24 at 1PM, the front person was beyond amazing. Ms. Shelly on the front desk was amazing as well.

The front desk was very nice and professional, but, the tv DID NOT work and after several failed attempts by the front desk to reboot it I just gave up and called it a night. It’s not the supervisor’s fault, but, for $150 I expect a tv to work and not to have to switch rooms. I had already unloaded 15 boxes into the room for a convention I’m attending. I’m not interested in being inconvenienced by having to move to a whole other room, repack my belongings etc. it’s not just an overnight bag, it’s two of us with a couple dozen boxes of merchandise. The facility was clean and the staff friendly, otherwise.

Very nice hotel with comfortable room. Several concerns: the elevator is a long walk away (important for disabled guests like my husband); the bathroom faucet was difficult to shut off; and I spotted a hotel worker (front desk staff) using a handicapped parking spot (no tag, no apparent handicap). this last was disconcerting, as there were only four handicapped parking spots to begin with. Overall a good place to stay.

Your hotel could use a little TLC. Things like the back entry door doesn’t securely lock, the toilet paper holder in our room was not even screwed to the wall. Your free continental breakfast was disappointing, no pastries and the oatmeal was runny as soup. Staff was very friendly and assisted use when we complained about our loud and noisy neighbors at 1:00 in the morning. You should implement a quite hour, similar to a camp ground. 3 out of 4 nights we had issues with loud and rude neighbors.

We were in town for a school competition. The location was close to the venue, with plenty of stores nearby for last-minute wants/needs. The staff was friendly and patient with our pre-teens while they purchased snacks from the lobby store.

I have visited this location twice now. Both times I’ve felt safe and welcomed. Thank you to the staff for always being positive and polite. Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. Breakfast in the morning is always good, waffle flavors are delicious.

Likes:quiet, spacious room and shower. The room could have been cleaner. The heating/ac unit was dirty. Need to update the iron. Overall I would recommend staying there.

Room was nice. Breakfast was good and stocked well. Staff was very friendly. Only downside was when i moved the bed to look for something i noticed crumbs and trash all behind the bed on the box spring which was gross

This was a convenient stay for us as we were attending a concert in downtown Detroit. The hotel was fine although the bathrooms needed an update. The bed was kind of hard as well. Nothing to write home about but decent for one night.

Caleb at the front desk was so friendly, funny and helpful. Our stay was great! Facility was very clean, we had everything we needed and the room was niceee. Mikhal, the assistant manager was also great. He explained everything well and was patient. I REALLY enjoyed being there, will be back for sure!

The desk people were very friendly at all times. I was not informed that we needed to notify the front desk if we wanted our rooms cleaned, and there weren't any notices to that effect in our rooms. So we were surprised to find our room not cleaned when we came back. The facility was clean and bathroom was updated. But the TV was perpendicular to the bed and hard to watch. Lastly, we had trouble understanding the thermostat and couldn't lower the temperature.

The room needs a deep clean desk electical outlet dirty, sticky. Bathroom soap dish has soapscum. Room feels unclean.

The lamp on the nightstand didn’t work, the hairdryer didn’t work, the shampoo on the shower didn’t work. The art on the wall was water warped. Very disappointed in Hampton Inn, one little issue is one thing but to run into so many in one night, no. Guess I’ll just find a new brand.

Checked into my room, didnt pay what was finalized when i booked. I paid 224 bucks to stay in a room with clumps of previous guests hair on the floor along with sticky candy on floor. I was on the second floor and it smelled like a dispensery. Phine in room didnt work and it was very noisy. The people above us sounded like they were playing football. Not enjoyable. I had to walk down to front desk and they didnt do a dang thing. Not impressed at all.
