We love this hotel and have been staying here for over 10 years. We love the olde worlde charm. Room was comfortable and renovated and the staff were excellent.

Air conditioning wasn’t working, there was a note from management provided and a little fan… Doesn’t help when it’s cold at night, and heating was required. Won’t stay there again.

right next door to the new RSL, so convenient for the evening meal. Lovely continental breakfast included and the hotel had all the old world charm.

Lovely place - slightly out of town and next to the RSL

My sister and I booked a twin share room, but ended up really with a room EACH, with steps, a doorway, but no door between them. It was perfect - together, but our own space too! Very unusual, and kind of in keeping with the feeling of being from another era. Comfortable, clean, friendly, everything we could want - and old fashioned. Like revisiting our childhood, but with mod cons!

Bedroom was ok, however fin oil column heater was defective and couldn't be used on our first night which was a bit of a cold night, having to request an additional blanket instead the next day. Staff were helpful and free breakfast provided was nice. Location is pretty good with a coffee shop and RSL across the street. 3 Sisters and shopping mall within walking distance. The hotel is old and you can see it plus hear it when walking (old building squeaking floor). We didn't feel comfortable in siting in the old sofas on the ground floor because of stains. I also didn't see many guests using them either. Compared to other accommodation available around the area, it seemed to be one of the best options.
