Disgraceful. Blood on the furniture. Urine on the bed post. Ants everywhere. Stains on the curtains. And this was the best cabin in the park. Left after one night and found alternative accommodation.

Property is situated in a beautiful location. Cabin was reasonably clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Unfortunately the only let down was the cabin was looking a bit old and tired and in need of a bit of TLC.

Room Deluxe Villa, 3 Bedrooms (KOALA) Villa needs a lot of attention! Holes on many walls in rooms. Lounge very dirty. Used spare sheets on lounge so we could sit on it. No spare toilet paper. Reception not staffed. Booked for family of 8 so we had to travel to buy some. After a hot long walk we were unable to take children to pool as the residents of the park had a meeting next to the pool which lasted for quite some time.BBQ area was free with no one around. This would have been a more suitable option. Over all a very disappointing stay.

We chose this place as an overnight stopover on our way to and from Brisbane from Sydney. With two kids, aged 8 and 11, this ticked all our boxes. Great location, just off the motorway, easy access to the beach, heated pool, bird feeding and kangaroos hopping around. The amenities were functional and well maintained. The villa we stayed was not the most modern but was well kept. A 10 drive to Woolgoolga that has a bunch of restaurants, Woolies, etc. is convenient. Whether it is a stopover or a rustic holiday break, this place should be on your consideration list.

We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxed stay at Lorikeet Resort. We liked the newer cabins, the pools, the beach nearby, the wildlife (incl. kangaroos outside our doors and the lorikeet feeding), and the relaxed nature setting.

Weather was good the villa was clean when we arrived. 5min walk to the beach 1min walk to pool also hot tub recreation room was entertaining has pool, ping pong, fuse ball also large tv with a lounge was quiet

Pool/Spa and gaming areas were excellent. Room could have been cleaned better. Needs a dust. Stains on bedding and couch were unappealing.

Some unfortunate circumstances tended to influence my impressions of this place. Firstly, it was difficult to locate in the dark; secondly, the weather was dreadful (obviously no fault of the Lorikeet) but then, when it was not possible to go outside, there was no free to air tv or internet connection. Otherwise, the place was clean and I appreciated the receptionist changing my cabin to one that had an inside bathroom.

Stopped over for one night as part of a longer road trip. Arrived just at lorikeet feeding time which was fun. Nice and secluded location with local wildlife and easy beach access. We stayed in one of the smaller cabins, which was a little older but perfectly functional and fine for cooking etc.

Nice relaxing trip. Lots of wildlife around - feeding the lorikeets was a highlight. Cabins are old but clean and maintained. Only issue was the bbq’s in the main area needed some maintenance.

From when we signed in the very friendly staff made it a welcoming experience. The 3 o'clock bird feeding was a great hit with both kids and parents. The enclosed swimming pool area was very well setup with good area for parents to be close by and the warm water spar is a real treat. The cabin was clean and tidy with everything we needed and just a very short walk to the beach. Thankyou to the staff at Lorikeet

We fed the birds, swam in the swimming pool, walked to the beach and then did some kangaroo spotting in the evening. All in the space of a couple of hours. Was only suppose to be a quick stop over...

This was the 4th time we had stayed at this establishment and till this visit we would have given the Gateway Lorikeet Tourist Park top ratings. This time however we were disappointed with a couple of important (to us) issues. The 1st issue we noticed on arrival to our accommodation was the lounge /settee was so threadbare that the foam lining was visible in several places on the seat cushions. when we turned the cushions over, the reverse side was worse. The 2nd issue was that the room had not been cleaned properly. Beneath the settee there was lots of dust and some crumbs and chips. Also the dining table was "sticky". The 2nd issue was that there was dust and fluff under the main bed. Also there was a lost sock under the bed from a previous guest. Because of the previous high standard that we had experienced at this Tourist Park we were really surprised with our experience. It may have just been a one off slip up by the cleaning staff (worn out settee was not the cleaners fault) but it will however make us think twice before we stay here again.

loved the wildlife.arrived 3,30 in time for rainbow lorikeets feeding time of 4pm.They will sit on your head or arm.The ducks come as well.Nice short walk to the beach, water nice.It has a nice pool area and at dusk we found the kangroos out eating the grass and not scared of people.Very quite place.
