Superb experience staying at the hotel. Staff are very helpful and nice. Their personal concierge manager Steven Diep has been very caring and helpful in making my family and friend’s stay a very happy and memorable one.

Disappointing experience. We have struggled during our stay because we don’t speak Chinese. During my stay, the hotel was full of security guards who were not letting us get inside the hotel for a long period, because some important person was visiting. The hotel didn’t warn us or notify us ahead of this. Every time we ask concierge to book taxi for us the process was not easy to follow and takes very long time and you have to walk some distance to meet the taxi driver in a different location because taxis are not allowed to stop near hotel entrance. Overall the stay was disappointing and I can’t recommend this hotel at all.

It's a very good accommodation experience in WALDORF Shanghai. Nice hotel environment, nice and professional staff of every functional department. I will be back here for family trip for sure since this time is for business. WALDORF is very suitable for both business and family trip. The location of the hotel is very good, very close to the most famous sightseeing spot: BUND. No worry for the food and shopping, everything you need just nearby on foot. Highly recommend for WALDORF Shanghai.

When I enter the hotel through the entrance of old building. Nobody assist to open the door, whether is sunny or rainy. I don’t know why. As 5 stars hotel, it is not up to standard.
Also, when I just want cafe latte during breakfast time, I need to wait for 20 mins. It is ridiculous

After 14 days nonstop in 2* quarantine hotel I would like to feel for 24 hours some luxury and I found it in the Waldorf Astoria in Shanghai. Everthing was close to perfect and even it is a bit overprized , I will stay mayb again here by my next trip

The General Manager, Richard SAUL and Chief Concierge, Leo Wang and the Team were very responsive, helpful and professional.
The nostalgic hotel exceeded expectations.
The property is well maintained and the rooms very clean.
We had a room with the view of the river and modern buildings on the Pudong side.
We will definitely return again.

I was on business. Great working hotel. I used the business center to do training for doctors from local hospitals. SUPER meeting rooms. SUPER Pool for hot Shanghai. The gourmet restaurant was a unique experience.
What I like best is the Management. They are very responsive to every concern I had during my stay. I will return to Waldorf Astoria next July.
