The Sunrise Diamond is a large resort, with something for everyone. We were a couple just wanting a “Fly & Flop” It was ideal as there was a separate Adults Only pool, with fab staff & bar. 🍹🍸There was a larger pool where all the activities were centred, we spent one afternoon there. There was also a pool with slides & another quieter pool. Food & drink was great and plentiful on All inclusive. Standard Jewel restaurant was good, but buffet style. Staff were generally attentive, but a lot of getting up & down. We took advantage of booking for the Italian, Mongolian, Indian and Egyptian restaurants on most evenings, as the service and food in all of them was lovely. Made our meals special. We used the Egyptian restaurant for breakfast as it was quieter, staff were great and it had a lovely sea view, if slightly less choice. We found the main restaurant a little hectic.Gym, gardens, 🎄decorations and entertainment good. Sports bar also shows Premiership ⚽️ The vast majority of staff were wonderful and attentive, and genuinely wanted to please without expecting tips. If you want to tip $ & € are preferred. Money can be exchanged on site at good rates, if you want some Egyptian currency.

Fabulous Hotel and Resort. From checking in and being welcomed to our room being serviced beautifully every day and then the ultimate cherry on the top.. the staff and food in the restaurant. All the restaurants are run superbly and nothing is too much trouble. The staff are amazing! Shout out to Mohamed the manager for ensuring everything runs perfectly and is so welcomming as are his team. He leads by example. Best holiday resort I've ever stayed in

the atmosphere is good, the staff welcoming, the restaurants of very good quality and varied, the hotel is superb like all Sunrise hotels, regards to Mr. Rafaat, he is doing well in French, and a warm greeting to all Sunrise staff, I highly recommend

Overall was a nice stay at the resort. Good size pool. Beach was very tight and narrow but the corals area very nice! The food was the only let down. Although they had a vast amount of selection, the quality/taste was not great and often the same food every day with only small variations. Room was small, only showers so no bath tub which was tricky with an infant. Internal taxi service was a plus, one of the drivers Mohammed was exceptional to us. One of the reception staff Fares was very sleazy. Kept giving an unhelpful look like everytime i was coming to approach he would whisper to his colleague like i will say something bad…

I visited this hotel for the first time with my family. They had immaculate hospitality and impeccable service from all the staff members superb! Breakfast was delicious diversified and the views from their restaurants were magnificent, especially during evening times absolutely breathtaking ✨ I’d definitely recommend people to go there. Remember to book the deluxe swim up room great for the value 👍 P.S. Their hotel taxi service were exceptional thanks to Alaa, he made sure we were safe and sound wherever we travelled. And their massage service is honestly just the best thing ever ❤️ I will definitely be back inshallah.

The staff were some of the friendliest I have ever come across. The resort was clean and well maintained. The food wasn’t great but not terrible either. However … I didn’t like feeling like I was being scammed when trying to add my husband to my room or when I went to see their “doctor” which I laid a small fee for. I booked for one person because my husband wasn’t sure if he was going to join me or not at the end of my 12 day stay. To avoid paying 500 extra over the almost two weeks I thought I would just add him for a few days there at the resort thinking it would be cheaper. They wanted 150 usd a night for him to join me in my existing room. 4 days would have cost me 600 usd plus fees. I ended up booking him his own room for 113 Usd all inclusive. It was cheaper for me to book (through their own website) his own room then add him to my own.
I was also doing a tech diving course while there and had suspected decompression sickness. When I went to see the doctor I had an elevated blood pressure 150/120 (im young and healthy) and severe dizziness. He had no idea why I would be requesting oxygen and ushered me out to see another patient. Any qualified doctor would know oxygen is the first thing administered.
Some great staff but those at the front desk and the doctor made me not want to come back for our next diving trip.

Great location where there are no cold winds in winter, the quality and variety of food is pleasant (especially fish, turkey, 10 kind of honey, yogurt and vegetables and fruits), excellent service, everything in the hotel is quiet clean and beautiful, I liked the ala carte Italian restaurant and the gym also.

Rooms all have a pool available pretty much right outside. Food was pretty good, esp the Egyptian restaurant.
Friendly staff. Beautiful location. I didn't have time to take advantage of all the resort amenities.

Lovely setting with direct access to the Red Sea. Lots of swimming pools, different relaxation areas. Very friendly staff and very well maintained.
Many restaurants but food is mostly only OK, except in the Italian themed restaurant where booking is required (Basilica), food here very good.
Overall well recommended - but do yourself a favour and go and eat out of the resort now and again at the many excellent Sharm El-Sheikh restaurants around - excellent food and great value.

The overall experience was great. I would like to thank Mohammad Reda at the front desk, Julia at the guest relations, Mohammad at the main restaurant, All the waiters team, Mahmoud at the aquapark bar. Would love to see more cleanliness and hygiene in the pools, specially the aquapark pool. Daily water contamination checking is crucial in my point of view.

The stay overall was fine. The food is average in the buffet. The quality of the food is not impressive which explains the large amount of food waste we saw everyday.
This hotel is mainly for Russian and Eastern Europe.
In terms of Covid restrictions, there are no observed measures.
I got physically attacked by another guest during dinner in the buffet restaurant.
I reported the case to management of the hotel but nothing was done to remedy the situation. I only got an apology from the hotel guest manager. No follow up was done regarding the incident. Even when I checked out, no one cared to ask or give me a feedback concerning the incident.
The staff in the restaurant, reception were nice and always giving you a smile.

Sharm was a breathe of fresh air. So beautiful and this resort made it even better. While at Sunrise my sisters and I felt like Queens. We stayed in the private swim up suite. It was the perfect touch. Sometimes random guest will try to sneak in your pool for pictures but the staff are good about making sure it doesn’t happen. The resort is sooo large it’s so much to do. Everything is in the resort and they can arrange day excursions for you. We booked a 8hr scuba diving, snorkel and Red Sea tour through the resort for only 50$ and it was the best way to bring in my 25th birthday. The resort is not on the strip but the hotel has a very reasonable taxi system. Alaa was our best friend. He made sure we got to and from everywhere we decided to go and to the airport on time as we set off to Cairo. This resort looks just like the pictures if not better. There is a gift shop on the resort that is also very nice and reasonable. We travel a lot and this is our first time on a resort where it didn’t feel like everything was 10x higher than what street vendors and others offer. Definitely here to make your vacation perfect
