I have been stayed in this hotel many times before. This time, The toilet was clean but has some bad smell. the living room has some smell as well. The whole suite was clean but just has some smell. Service was excellent. Food in the restaurant quality still keeping their stsndard..

The overall experience is good and the foods are good as well except that the room rate is a bit too high that makes it less attractive to revisit.

This is my second visit to Kagaya Beitou, the first time was five years ago
I’m very happy with the experience this time just like my first visit and the staffs took really good care with me and my family.
Definitely will visit again!

Not as good as I expected. The facility seem quite outdated. Didn't offer the dressing service. I don't think the price is worth the experience. Full course dinner is too salty.

Room is very cozy, well equipped and maintained. Courteous staff make the entire stay a super pleasant experience. In room warm spring tub and the shower is well designed for easy access, with adequate instructions and safety features. Breakfast buffet is definitely one of the best, strongly recommended to add the breakfast when book rooms. Last, but not the least, the gift shop offers some top quality artworks from Japan. You might want to stop by.

I stayed in Kagaya for 2 nights. These 2 nights are certainly the highlight of my Taiwan trip. The staffs are so friendly and the room is very comfortable. I enjoyed the Onsen in my room and the view is phenomenal. I also tried the public Onsen and I actually liked it better than the one in my room. Dinner and massage service is highly recommended, but there are many good and cheaper options outside the hotel as well.

The property is not exactly the newest, and the tatami floor boards had a smell to it, but any shortcomings are more than compensated by the level of service they provide. Staff are very humble and helpful, and is considerate. The hotel also has events to entertain customers during the day, which make the stay more fulfilling.

I like the decor in the common area. Everything else was average. Check in was extremely slow.

Nice facility in Beitou. A bit disappointed that the men's hot spring area was under maintenance and I had to walk over outside and back in to the public hot spring next door, which I believe is smaller. Overall nice -- service is diligent but can be more attentive.

Staff are very helpful. The size of the room is big enough for 4 people, but with only one toilet, not convenient. Lightings not bright enough.

I loved the way this place was made a a Japanese traditional style. This hotel is like a hotel where kids would love to play in. The thing is that we know that the traditional Japanese style is great and all but we’re in Taiwan we want part of this hotel to feel a little Taiwanese traditional style too. Like maybe for breakfast not only add Japanese food add some Taiwanese food in it too so many people can also enjoy a part of Taiwan and Japan
