I arrived on a Thursday, there were no towels in my room, I got towels the next day. When they cleaned my room they didn’t leave me any washcloths. I never had hot water in the shower. They never fixed it or offer me another room. The refrigerator bever hot cold. I checked w other residents and they stated their refrigerator never got cold either. I noticed a lot of left over food was served at breakfast. So i wonder when other guests got sick if it was because of left over food. Good...the restaurant staff was great, all the workers I came in contact with was gracious.

We stayed 5 nights at this property after staying 2 nights in Montego Bay. The grounds are kept up beautifully and the staff is very friendly. Dean the bell man is awesome!! He contacted a ride for us to Ricks Cafe which is a must do while in Negril. One downfall is you have to get up really early to put your towel out at the beach. Bathrooms could use a better door as there were sliders and not a lot of privacy from bathroom to bedroom area.

Good stay overall but food was terrible. Staff were not super friendly but they weren’t rude.

The 24 Hour Personal Concierge & Service were phenomenal!!!

Pleasant, helpful staff. Food was good overall. Room service was slow, and non responsive. Mildew smell in hallways and rooms. Property is in need of renovation, visible areas of deferred maintenance.

I think the property is overpriced for the food options and amenities.

The property itself, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. However, the food and the nightlife really needs improvement.

The property is beautiful, however if you’re seeking a true authentic experience you will not find it here. The only Jamaican meal that is served every day is curry chicken or brown stew chicken on alternate days. I stayed for 1 week and did not have ackee & saltfish or callaloo not once. Will never go back there

Everything was excellent for me

Other than a few people at the property, the staff did not want to be there. We arrived and were put in a room that was like motel 6. Then, after complaining and saying we wanted a refund they put us in the room we originally booked which was a little bit better. The lack of entertainment and food selection alone, was two stars. Not only that, the people on the beach begging me to buy drugs made me stay by the pool which was less than glamorous. Unfortunately, we tried our hardest to enjoy our expensive vacation but when we booked an adults only resort and there are kids running around and screaming and locals offering your drugs every five minutes and staff not wanting to be there, it was just not something we enjoyed. We did on a positive note find about four employees who were very sweet and went overboard trying to make our stay more enjoyable but 4 out of the entire resort is sad!! We enjoyed our time off the resort at Ricks, and a local bar seeing live music but that’s not what we expected to do with our time. We will not be going back and unfortunately are truly disappointed with our experience.

Overall i had a great experience, just wish they had more jamaican food durind breakfast as an option as both buffets

Nice hotel n clean

We loved how clean the grounds and public bathrooms were. However, we waited an hour after our check-in time to get a room. Then our door lock didn't work. We couldn't leave the room until it was fixed...which took about another hour. The Hosts at the restaurants were very friendly. BUT, the wait staff was not. The wait staff appeared to be having a bad day EVERY DAY. The tables were never complete with utensils, napkins, salt and pepper. And since the wait staff weren't on top of it, I would have to go get napkins, or utensils, sugar, etc. myself. The Bartenders were the same as the restaurant wait staff...they were NOT friendly. They seemed to not like their jobs. It was very sad. This is why we will not come back.

The food was awful and entertainment was wack for that amount of money it didn’t worth it no one is going to come back it’s unless is to sleep I’ve been to a lot of hotel both local and international you offer nothing won’t come back

This resort is horrible. We brought out 1 1/2 year old and they had no food or drink options for kids. Everything we asked for was out. Pools are all broken apart tiles everywhere. Ant infested deck on our swim out. Main pool ripped apart for renovation. We couldn’t take it anymore and had to book another hotel. Also will never use Orbitz again either since they will not help get us our refund since we booked a 7 night stay and only stayed one night. We booked another resort through them so essentially paid for two vacations. Don’t use Orbitz or this hotel what a joke.

Positives: Resort was clean, food options were great and we loved our room and balcony overlooking the pool and beach. Our concierge Tashna was the sweetest person! She was very responsive, making sure our needs were met. She even looked out for my parents when their concierge completely dismissed them after they turned down his offer for a sales presentation. Negative: We checked into our room 2 hours late after a long travel. Lots of confusion around that process. Also if you set up transportation to the airport, be sure to keep your receipt. The person who booked us apparently did not document that we set up and paid for private transportation and we were late getting to the airport. Overall, I would stay here again.

The property and rooms are beautiful. The staff are all great. The beach and ocean are perfect.

This resort was so beautiful ! It was my first time in Jamaica and I got to learn and see a lot about the culture just on the resort . The food was delicious they had jerk chicken and rice with peas ! It just brought so much joy to me to see try a bit of the culture

The staff is very pleasant and helpful. The block i stayed on could do with some cleaning and maintenance. The resort has a ridiculous rule for adding a guest, the initial cost was almost the same as booking an additional room. Fortunately for me the manager assisted by giving a discount but i still had to pay $200 instead of the difference between the two rates as advertised on Expedia which would have been $100.

Nice resort. Ran out of something everyday. Ran out of spring rolls and peanut sauce at the asain restaurant which are two of the main things. Ran out coffee stirrers everyother day. Took 24 hours after we arrived to get the correct room we paid for. Most employees were basically clueless when asked questions about the resort. Cancelled room service order after waiting 1 hour and 45 minites for it. Fronk desk hardly ever answers the phone but when you walk down there employees are playing on their cell phones or laughing and joking with eachother.

I had a wonderful time at this resort. My only issue was the spacing in the room for clothing and packed luggage. The room I was in had nice modern furniture, but lacked space for adequate storage. We had to make do with the space provided. But overall I had a great time and enjoyed my stay.

I liked the service, but the food was OK. I stayed at a neighboring hotel and the food was superb.

Unfortunately I am disappointed. This is not a 5 star hotel. The restaurants were not open as much as they should have been. The staff was friendly, our driver Damion from Errol Flynn tours was the best! My butler never made an appearance or even acknowledged the service. My deposit, which was not mentioned until I got there, was not refunded until I asked for it the next day. Overall not a good stay, but Jamaica is beautiful and I was with great friends.

Food was great . The facility can use some improvements especially the rooms .

Absolutely loved this resort and the staff, especially the pool bar bartenders (Antoinette, Keneatha & Danielle were a few favorites). Breakfast staff at Mahogany quickly learned our names and our drink orders and were always so sweet to chat with. Would gladly come back!

I have nothing positive to say about it accept their is no leadership in management.
