Heater was loud with gurgling sound. Hotel door and other guests were noisy. Shower curtain was moldy at bottom corner. Otherwise clean and large room. Hotel elevator floor was dirty. Breakfast was good, but wish they had whole grain cereals and bread. Overall, good stay and great location!

The mattress was like sleeping on a brick. The breakfast was ok not the best. They are out of so many items.

This hotel is very convenient to Western Carolina University. The breakfast is really good at this location. It was clean, but the mattresses were not comfortable. We stayed in a two-queen room, but the mattress size had to be smaller than that. I would say if you are visiting WCU its a good fit.

The room was cold. With a weather alert fir the area it woukd have been nice to have the heat turned on just a little. Staff super nice!! Check in easy and friendly professional! ! Appreciate!

This property should be investigated. The first room had no barrier between the sheet and mattress. Mattress was filthy with various stains of various colors. I was told by housekeeping they are only required by law to put a fitted sheet on the mattress. The next room had a mattress pad that had not been laundered since there were stains of various colors on it. We immediately cancelled our reservation and went to a different hotel. Mattresses without barriers between the sheet and mattress is a health hazard.

The hallway was very noisy and the elevator keep us awake till about 1:00 in the morning

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was larger than expected and very clean and prepped with extra touches that made it feel inviting. The TV and mini fridge were both updated. The only room flaw was the shower head needed last rites as it was leaking everywhere. The only gripe is the breakfast- I arrived at 8:40 and there was almost nothing left and no one attending. 4-5 people after me had cold cereal with sour milk as their only option. Left at 9:10 and someone showed up to help as I was leaving .

The person at the desk and the lady who does the breakfast were the only staff we interacted with and they

The elevator smelled like cigarette smoke. When I got to my room I found the bathroom had 6 dead bugs and 2 alive bugs.

The room smelled like cigarettes, and the bathroom floor was gritty with sand or dirt all over it. Being that I am hot natured, I need to sleep cold, but the AC compressor was broke.

We liked the room, breakfast, and location.
We had a bad experience related to check in. When the reservations were made we selected an accessible room and called the resort about 3 weeks ahead of time to confirm our needs and were told that a room would be provided on the second floor which included grab bars in the shower. When we arrived we were offered a room on the third floor which was not accessible. After some discussion we were changed to a room on the second floor. After we moved into the room, another party opened the door and they were surprised that we were there. They went back down stairs to check in and were assigned to another room. The next morning we noted that we couldn't get back into our room and went back to check in to get our key reprogramed. Apparently when the other party that also was assigned to the same room had their key changed to a different room, our keys were also erased. Not a good way to start a vacation. The motel was a nice place to stay but the front desk personal need some additional training.

Horrible experience. The beds were nasty with bugs under the mattress. Our money wasn’t returned like we were told it would be.

Our room wasn't clean, there was hair in the bed. Moved us to another room and air didn't work. Third room the key cards didn't work consistently. The staff was helpful and tried to help but this this is not a good property. This was our second stay; the first was in January 2023. We thought it was just a bad weekend but this second stay was worse. We won't stay again.

They needed to vacuum the hallway floors, someone threw out tacos and lettuce and cheese was still on the carpet 3 days later. The room was very clean as was the lobby and dining area

Room 426 was very dirty. The front desk clerk said it was his favorite room. Wow, is this was your favorite I would not like to see the others. The carpet are stained and they had not been recently vacuumed. The bed frame and mattress set did not fit properly. Each side of the bed frame stuck out past the dust ruffle and would catch your leg. Not safe. The bed sheets were clean, but the dust ruffle was stained. The bathroom shower had mildew growth. The outside pool walls were stained and looked very nasty. This was definitely a disappointment from the pictures displayed on the website. I would not recommend staying here.

The stay was comfortable and the food was good. I especially liked help getting my hangup clothes which I left behind by mistake.

This is a central location for the area with a lot of restaurants close. However, it’s the second time I haven’t had a good sleep due to the noise of the A/C unit. Also, it wasn’t running properly so the room was warmer than desired. On the upside, the staff is always great to guests.
