It was lovely! Fire pit on the beach——awesome too!

The cabin, that we stayed in, had a nice rustic look about it with light wood panelling. The cabins are located right at the beach. The door lock was a bit finicky but bed and shower were good. There was a coffee maker in the room but no breakfast. We would stay here again.

Great little beach house for few days. Very basic but we loved it :)

Cute property! Not fancy but clean, updated and comfortable. Excellent sheets and towels. Plenty of towels in our cabin. We had reservations for a standard room but found on arrival that we were upgraded to a larger cabin because it was available. View of the water from our cabin and just short walk to the beach. We would stay again.

Its an unusual property. I like it but feel thete are better, more modern places, at these rates. However the guy at the office is awesome.

I have stayed in places all over the world and I can honestly say this was a favorite. So quiet and peaceful and private.

Very cute cabins on the lakeshore.

Nice little cabin on the beach. It would benefit from a thorough cleaning. Not terrible, but could use some attention The staff was friendly. Beautiful sunrise on Lake Huron. Comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom sink only, no vanity to set things. Good drinking water. The property is not walkable to restaurants and shopping.

Cute little cottage right on the beach. Gorgeous sunrise view! Easy access to Mackinaw City and ferry to the island. Owners were accommodating and thorough!

This property was excellent, the location is very good and the cabins by the lake are beautiful. The guy from the front office could not have been kinder or nicer. We really loved the property, I would recommend it to my family. We loved it!!!

I can’t say enough good things about Martin and the property that he manages. He has done a lot of work to make the The Beach House special. It is indeed right in the beach. The cabin we stayed in was very clean and well designed. The AC and the heat both work well. There are lots of flowers and plants, an indoor pool, a basketball hoop. Martin arranged transportation for us to the ferry at no cost. We there is also free transportation to a local casino, plenty of good places to eat within walking distance. I recommend The Beach House.

It was not a disappointment! It was a perfect room with a view!

It is an older property with spacious cabins right on the lake. Good value within walking distance of the main drag plenty to see and do .free shuttle if you want to to the casino. Very quiet.

I got a cabin right on the beach, it was wonderful. A great semi rustic cabin experience with a sandy beach and Lake Huron right outside my door.

Loved this stay! We booked a 1 bed bedroom, and they were able to get us an upgrade at check-in time to a 2 bed bedroom - the extra room was so nice to have. The location is very close to the main downtown area and was right on the beach with great chairs and fire pits. Would happily stay here again!

The cabin was NOT one of the ones shown in the picture. When we arrived, there was an old ice cream container and rotting pepper on the ground by the stairs to enter the cabin. There was a hair claw clip on the railing. Open food bag was under the bed with gnats flying around the living room. People from the hotel smoking outside blew right in to the window. We had to have the window open to try to get a breeze, as the AC took well over five hours to cool the cabin down. With the proximity of the other cabins, guests two cabins down were making comments as we went in and out of our cabin.

Martin at the front desk was fantastic, helpful, funny, and knowledgeable.
The furniture was showing its age,the shower was short for anyone 6ft or taller, the interior paneling was beautiful, and the beds were comfortable.

The property was conveniently located and in a quiet area. It was old and rustic but well kept.
What I didn’t like was the bathroom did not have any place to hang my clothes while showering. Although there were plenty of towels and wash cloths.
The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

I had a cabin on the beach reserved and was “upgraded” to one that was not on the beach. The door had a gap at the bottom an inch tall. Spiders in the sinks. Would not recommend

Love the proximity to the beach. The manager is so pleasant and attentive. The grounds are kept clean. Loved thst we could have bonfires.
4.0
Convenient location to town. Noisy and run down

The Beach House is an older, fairly run-down hotel in the area. Very no-frills. The cabin, however, was clean, and there was no mold in the bathroom. There is an indoor heated pool that looks frightening. I would never consider swimming in it. There is a small beach area with some rickety old tables and chairs. We stayed one night and would not wish to stay two.

I love this place! It’s on the water and the cabins are quaint. Nothing fancy but so quiet and serene. The flowers were blooming and smelled amazing. Close to downtown and lots of shops and restaurants. The staff are beyond helpful. It’s my third year in a row staying here and I will be back.

Beach was very nice. Plenty of beach chairs and fire puts. Water was very swimmable. Cabins were as you'd expect a cabin to be.

The front desk staff gave us an option of 3 rooms upon arrival, very quaint hotel right on the beach. Would stay here again.

The gentleman at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. Convenient location, and quiet at night. The only downside was that the hottub was not operational.

The front desk was very friendly and it was convenient to the Lumber Jack Show.

Great location for view of Mackinac Island and beach front of Lake Huron. Staff was very helpful with purchasing island boat tickets and arranging for the shuttle. Didn’t like that the bathtub had problems with drainage.

Beautiful property, we'll maintained and clean

First, we were given a free upgrade because the larger cabin one wasn't booked. A very cool thing for them to do. If I could of gave cleanness better than an excellent rating I would have and a clean room to me is the most important factor for lodging. As for the amenities a cabin is not a 3 star hotel so don't expect a large shower, BUT the mattress and towels rated 3 star. Would we stay again? Hell yeah, but I might spend a little more money for one of their beach front cabins (we could see the water from our porch but it wasn't on the water). A side note stay with your grill at ALL times as the winged thief's are FAST. I was gone for 30 seconds to get a pair of tongs and two hot dogs went flying off.

Martin is awesome. Helped with all travel arrangements to the ferry to island. So much fun. Kids loved the pool.
