The hotel staff was extremely nice. However, the room had a musty smell but was very clean.

Very basic hotel in need of renovation and change of staff as half of them were unprofessional. Only good thing is location of the hotel and the size of the rooms. Other than that better to try a different one.

Very good location, Clean and quiet Room, Great check-in!

We enjoyed our stay at this Hotel. Checkin on a Saturday around 3 was a little congested but that is to be expected. We were able to check our luggage at 1:00 and go take a walk around Time Square and have lunch. The room was small but was perfect us. Plenty of storage and view of the One Time Square was nice although it is been reconstructed at this time. Still fun to look out at the ball every night. There was a little issue with hot water but we learned to let it run a few minutes and it would come on. Apparently it takes awhile to get hot water up to the the 29th floor. Housekeeping came daily and made up the room. Fresh supply of towels and coffee supplies were left also. We had $10 a day each to use in the store, We just took what we wanted daily, no one really took notice of what we took. Coffee all day in the lobby
was nice. They do serve breakfast but we wanted to try other options in the city. The proximity to Bryant Park,Time Square and the Subway are Phenomenal. We enjoyed getting food and just sitting in the park and watching the world go by. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay again.

First they cloud not find our reservation, when they finally found it they gave us an upgrade that wasn't one. The manger and the reception desk stuff spoke Spanish with each other while we where standing in front of them - very unprofessional and rude.
To top it of stuff in our room wend missing...

The only criticism: the bar closed at 11pm on Saturday night. We came back from a show looking forward to a drink—closed. Seemed unusual

Great hotel. Great staff. Excellent location. Hotel is between Times Square and Bryant Park/NYC Library/5th Ave. The hotel offered a bunch of amenities, but we really didn't have a chance to utilize them.
The only complaint we would have are a couple of fire alarms that happened during our stay and the beds are a little too stiff for my liking.
I would recommend for the location, and cleanliness. Would stay again.

There was construction all day until about 5. The noise was unbearable. They should have warned us about the construction/noise in advance.

Stayed in Time’s Square as a base for a 3-day trip. The room was on the 35th floor. Noise from an upstairs mechanical room was constant—not deafening, but irritating and clanging most of the night. The window was broken and would not lock; during the rain and wind, it blew open 2-3 times—fortunately it wasn’t winter. I spoke with the desk, and they were polite but ineffective. Will avoid this one in the future.

The location was great. The room was dirty and furniture is heavily worn. Shower leaked water all over the bathroom and extra towels needed to be requested to accommodate. The bedding was dirty. We bought pillow cases and sheets to use. Not the quality I expect from Hilton.

The room was nice and clean but very small compared to a normal size hotel room

During my entire stay the air conditioning system was making loud noises all night. I moved to another room on day two and that room had the same issue. It was impossible to sleep. Many customers complained about the noise problem, but it was not resolved in the one week that I was at the hotel. It was horrible!

Great hotel to stay in New York. Staff was great, and room was clean. Walking distance to time square and restaurants.

It was a nice surprise bc I thought the place was like a “normal” hotel in NY, old and smell weird. But was not like that. The room was super clean and smelling good. The hotel service is amazing. The location was perfect, and no noise at all. I had a great night sleep. Super satisfied with this hotel and I will stay there next time I go.

We had an amazing stay here! The rooms were a great size and beds really comfy. The room and bathroom were very clean and tidy. The location was 10/10 right in the heart of Times Square with great links to the rest of the city. Staff were friendly and the view from our room was great! Would defo like to return!

Been to NY a number of times in the past few years. This stay was a real hotel, not the cramped, noisy, dirty rooms with no elevators and amenities.
I recommend Hilton Garden Inn!

Pathetic stay with front desk being racist towards colour and rude. House keeping start roaming around the floor at 7 in the morning speaking loudly. Going to every door and knocking for cleaning and opening door without permission. Threads coming out of bed sheet. Pathetic cleaning in bathroom with hair and dust all around. Basic amenties like cutlery, cups, slippers not provided.

The room was cleam, smelled of bleach. The 2 issues we had were thay llt we couldn't get the room to be warm enough. Then in the morning by 9am, the construction next door woke us up. My husband and I wanted a morning to sleep in with the kids and it was ruined.

The room was small but comfortable. The location was prime, just a few steps from Times Square. The staff was friendly. There was a lot of consultation noise during the day. I didn’t try the restaurant, but will next time.

Arrived dropped wife and adult kids off to check in while I parked 15 min away.Front desk would not allow my wife to check in, same last name, same address on drivers licence. Received a call from front desk saying security required me to be there to check-in or confirm address. The SAME address.Spoke to rude unpleasant manger who informed me it was Valentines Day so they needed better security! Bar and restaurant staff EXCELLENT!

The hotel was great, staff is really friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean. The restaurant on premises is good. Restaurant is a little pricey but food is really good.
Also there are lots of restaurants around the hotel.

Nice people at counter.

Before our stay it was impossible to reach the property with questions. Upon checking in the front desk person couldn’t answer questions about the area. One of the other staff was helpful though. Our room wasn’t the cleanest and the coffee pot exploded repeatedly. Coffee in the lobby was always empty.

Came here for Valentine’s Day weekend. Great trip. Staff was friendly.

From the doorman to the view, everything about this hotel was top tier.

Great location. Hot water a little inconsistent though. 8-10am weekdays its like the whole building is fighting for hot water so showering is an experience! That wooden bed frame is unnecessarily big for the actual mattress size so keeps getting kicked when you walk past it. Service from all staff was always good and polite, cleanliness always very good. Communal areas and facilities generally in need of a facelift.

Hilton Garden Inn Times Square is the go to place if you want to experience NYC and be close to all downtown has to offer.
