Very nice accommodations. Excellent view of the ocean and sunset. Loved having a warm robe to wrap up in after coming in from the sunset.

We had a wedding to attend and made it a family trip. This was the first time staying and it was amazing. Loved the location and the cozy feel of the rooms!

Overall, the hotel was not bad. It was a little on the older side, but the beds were comfortable. I was very disappointed when check in is listed as 3 pm and though we didn’t arrive until almost 4 pm the room was not ready. I am disabled and had left my house at 4 am so not being able to get into my room until shortly after 5 pm was very upsetting. The staff was friendly and offered a bike rental but I cannot ride a bike. Instead she gave us a $20 credit. The hotel is also close to a busy road and you could definitely hear the traffic. The room not being ready was the biggest issue.

Loved the location. Beach is right there. Beautiful view from second floor. Very good coffee. Has refrigerator and microwave. Bathroom sink is outside the bathroom, which some people might not like. But it is convenient to water to make coffee. Staff members very friendly. Will be back. Our favorite place to stay in Ft. Bragg.

Older motel so outside noises are pretty noticable. Room was clean with nice amenities, however the bed was quite uncomfortable.
The view and proximity to the ocean is a big bonus but the price is a little too high for the accomodations, especially on a Sunday night

My husband and I love coming to Fort Bragg and especially love staying at Surf & Sand Lodge (or the sister hotel Beachcomber right next door) because of the amazing views from the rooms of the ocean and cliffs. We always have a clean room and great service when checking in.

Beautiful location, great views just wish the room was a little cleaner. The vents were gross and the carpet with a bathtub is gross. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but the pillows were very nice and loved that there was 6!! Overall it was still a good stay and would recommend for the views alone. I also enjoyed a the fact that the tv had Netflix capability.

The hotel room was clean and the view was amazing! The staff was really friendly and gave great food suggestions. This is my go to place from now on when I go to fort Bragg. The room also had a big jacuzzi tub and again the view alone was worth it all

Location is excellent. Heater was either too hot or turned off. TV channel guide did not match what was actually on the TV-bizarre!- fireplace was fake which was not made clear on the website but other than that, room was clean, comfortable, quiet and appealing. We had a great time.

Water temp was dangerously hot! Did not even have to heat water for tea and I like it boiling hot. Mildew on shower ceiling. Bathroom sinks were not clean when arrived.

Lovely lodge, with beautiful views of the sea/cliffs. Walkable to the beach and the trail to explore Noyo.
Pet friendly, they even had a paws wash station.
Loved the location. Room was clean, a decent sized with standard amenities.
Staff was friendly.
All restaurants and downtown was just a mile away.

Good check in/out, helpful and friendly staff…. Nice view of ocean. But you don’t want the downstairs units when there is a family of four above…. Think stampede for hours. Cleanliness appeared good but once the baseboard heaters were turned on you could smell the dust. A check of the high surfaces turned up a nasty brown/black finger of dust and the carpet smelled of dust. Simply, please revamped and get new mattresses/pillows. There are all way past due.

We came for my son’s 13th birthday and would definitely come back! Short stay, but room was very clean, beautiful view, and walkable to the beach. Would recommend!

Stayed here over the weekend for a quick getaway. We had a king bed/ jacuzi tub suite and it was very nice! Very clean, updated and comfortable. Bed was comfy, and the balcony had an amazing view! A quick walk from our room down to the beach (a little steep at some places). Beautiful sunsets both days. The people at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. Thanks for such a wonderful stay! Dont forget to stop by Jennys Giant Burgers up the street for a delicous burger!

Overall the place is nice, had an ocean view and a balcony. The double queen beds were comfortable. It was quiet and slept well while hearing the ocean at a distance. Upon arriving, we found nail clippings on the carpet, a used sock underneath the bench, and hair in the bathtub. We called front desk to see if someone can vaccum the carpet but they said they couldnt help me since they we helping another customer and they had a shortage of staff. In a few minutes, a staff bought us the extra shampoo and conditioner. Then we asked the person for a vaccum cleaner. They bought it to our room but we wind up vacumming the carpet, No harm, there must of been some miscommunication. At least I know the floor was vacummed.

I liked the balcony view of the ocean. The property was well maintained, and the man who checked us in was very helpful. I would return.

Our stay was fine, the rooms have nice views and are clean. The mattress was an old spring mattress so entire bed shook when you moved. Family hotel, I get it but why would you ever put a family with little kids upstairs? The child was up at 5am running laps around the room which means we were up at 5am. But other than the rude neighbors and a not very great mattress, stay was fine.

Good location. Clean room. Close to the ocean, 1 mile or so to Glass Beach. Rooms need updating.

When we arrived at check-in time our room was still being cleaned. The manager gave us a couples bike rental for the inconvenience and we had such a good time riding the path along the beach.
Once we got in the room it was in perfect condition. We really enjoyed our stay!
