Good place to stay with dogs, clean and friendly staff.

Good location. But a bit outdated in main area. Not great beds and shower was very small. Could be neater in room. A but dinged up. Not crazy bout parking up against someone’s room and have then leaning in my car. Just not as well maintained as I expected for the costly price. Definitely not worth $200 night!

The Coral Sands motel is a nice lodging option within easy walking distance of the OC boardwalk. The room we got had no frills, but was clean and livable. The value for money was good compared to other motel/hotel options in this area.

The location of this property is Outstanding! The room was clean, and the bathroom was clean and had a good shower with very hot water. The room was not large or fancy, but nice enough for sleeping as we hardly spent any time there. So close to the beach and boardwalk, bike rentals and many restaurants. Downtown shopping is also close by.

The room Needs black out curtains as the motel signs just light up the room all night.. the space was nice but the beds were full of sand otherwise location was great

Absolutely outstanding!! I’ve been coming for about 10 years. It’s so convenient. Boardwalk and beach just a block away. Room always clean and employees always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend. See you next year!!!

I stayed here years ago and it was nice which is why I booked with my children this past week. The location is great! This time, I am not having the same experience. The check in woman was very hospitable however the room is disgusting. There was some sort of substance on two of the pillows and the beds are sandy. The door is unsecured. The dead bolt does not work and the chain lock is literally out of the wall. During the day, you can see between the doorframe and door. I had to buy pillow cases to cover our pillows. Quite frankly, I am not sure what gets clean around here. There was 1/2 a roll of toilet paper so I went to the desk to ask for more. She was very kind and gave me 3 rolls. I told her I would put any excess under the sink and she told me not to because it could leak. Who knows what else I should have been expecting during our stay This place is also missing necessary outlets and is not up to code. I felt unsafe and was just appalled. In addition the wifi was so bad we were unable to use it therefore not having complete access to our phones. I did not want to worry my children so we stayed as it was only two nights and had no where else to go.

Great location with clean rooms. Two fridges!!! Nice place to stay if you want a 30 second walk to boardwalk and beach. Its a very busy area so not good if you want quiet.

This motel is not a great motel to stay at. The motel needs to be renovated badly, the laminate flooring was peeling up, there were holes in the ceiling, there was dirt in the corners, and there was about a half inch gap under the front door that leads right to the outside. What looked like black mold was in the ceiling corner in the bathroom and the AC filter needed replacement. If you are able to, please pay a little more money and stay somewhere else.

In the room, I would say the bathroom was a little bit too small. I liked where we stayed on the second floor where we had like a balcony and a deck right outside our room.

Booked last minute for one nifht. Front desk person was very nice. Room was clean and wifi connection good, was able to stream Netflix on our tablet. Would recommend and look forward to visiting again sometime this summer.

The place is nice and clean. Good price. Walk to the beach. Staff are very nice.

The property is very, very outdated. Parking is extremely limited and tight. As for the rooms, there are no exhaust fans in the bathrooms, which is unpleasant for a number of reasons. The mattresses on the beds are old, worm out, lumpy and incredibly uncomfortable.

It was our honeymoon, wanted a bigger room so took the apartment. Had a slight ocean view. 100% worth it.

Close to boardwalk & friendly staff

The room was updated and clean. The bed was so hard that I should of just slept on the floor. I was unaware no elevator so had to carry my luggage myself. Also parking is around the corner so after I did the steps twice to unload then I had to park there. Outside of hotel needs major work, hallway could be more updated. The door to my room did not feel safe at all. One little lock like a door in a house bedroom. Pros other than the bed the room was clean. Bathroom also updated but one feels encapsulated in tile but that’s ok. It was clean. AC didn’t get to bathroom. Someone before me had the window cracked open. I basically needed it to sleep which I didn’t get much of. Please replace that mattress.

This is one of those old family run beach motels, which I enjoy. It’s old but has been nicely updated. Office closes at 10 pm, but they were very flexible and willing to work with me. AC a bit noisy and makes it hard to hear the TV. But overall, it’s a very nice place. I’d definitely come again.

Staff and owner are fantastic. Location is perfect. Building is old and run down and the good prices reflect that but it's a quaint place that is a great place to sleep and rest and we will be back.

Staff was very accommodating and courteous. Rooms were nice but the one bed was damaged. They accommodated us for the issue though so all in all it was a very nice stay.

Service was good. The room was not good for 6 people. Too small and the ac was too load and turns on and off to wake you up. Wish they can improve on that.

The remodel is nice. It's on a very busy corner in town though and we heard a lot of noise day and night b/c of that. It could have been a fairly decent stay, but the beds were HORRIBLE! We stayed in a double room with two double beds and I haven't slept on a worse bed, that made noise constantly, in my life. The staff were nice and the location is great being a block from the beach. But getting sleep would have been nice also.

1 park spot-move car will loose spot and over-flow 5 spaces were filled. Felt could not go to a grocery store or go to a restaurant. Rented Upper level room-clean, large, updated appliances. No hot water in kitchen sink or bath sink only hot water in shower, spigots tight to turn/cold spigot came off when turning on. Holy moly!
