Nice people. And excellent location if you need to have some rest between flights. I was allowed to get into the room before official check-in hour , so had more time to sleep after overnight flight. Location is very close to airport, but you can get to Sofia centre in 30-40 minutes, subway is there. Recommended for sure.

Convenient, with the proper services for an airport hotel

Wanted something close to Sofia airport. This was perfect. Staff was excellent. Free shuttle and takeaway breakfast for us early fliers!

It is a very convenient hotel for early flights. The room was clean. Asked for an additional towel, since we had only one set for two people, but never got it. The male staff in the morning was very nice and polite. Will use this hotel again

Shuttle service refused to pick us up at airport. We ended up staying the night in the airport. Still waiting for refund.

I really enjoyed myself. The staff was absolutely amazing! If you like curry try the chicken curry dish it was FANTASTIC!!

Clean, modern, comfortable

It was super dirty and dusty. It's like they never vacuumed dust under the bed. Too noisy from the passing cars. All furnitures are old and destroyed. The bed was falling apart. Prices were way too expensive for the quality.

Helpfull service above average

One of the frumpier Ibises I've stayed in, and not particularly easy to catch shuttle from airport. Also staff was a bit scarce late at night. But fundamentally okay.

I like that the hotel is very near the airport, most of the staff members were friendly, the property kept clean. I don't like that the bed was super uncomfortable, making annoying noises with every move, and it had no back support at all making me woke up with back pain.

I liked the shower. It was spacious and water was strong.

Accommodation close to the airport. Terminal T2 is about 20 minutes' walk away.

Great deal with airport pick ups and drop offs. Pick up by a great fellow who helped with luggage.. To the airport however, one very lazy large driver made passengers open luggage door and load and unload themselves whilst he sat in his seat. That was the only down side. All else breakfast and room comforts were great.

There is nothing but parking lot in the property sequred by fence and automatic gate.

Hotel was very clean and staff were fantastic. Property is close to the airport, with free airport shuttle. But there is limited transport, dining and shopping options. Rooms are not sound proof either.

The hotel is located just 5 min by car from the airport. The shuttle service was free and available 24/7. I only spent a few hours at the hotel so I can't talk about the hotel as a whole or the restaurant. The room was basic and very clean. I used my own, but noticed there were bottles of shampoo and soap in the bathroom. Also, two bottles of water were provided. I literally checked in, took a shower, got dressed and took the shuttle back to the airport where I hopped on the train to get to the city center. On the way back I called the shuttle driver and he picked me up at the metro station. Both drivers were very nice and polite and provided a great service. I requested a breakfast package since my flight was very early in the morning and they gave it to me at checkout - a sandwich, an apple, and a bottle of water. Overall, my stay was short but really convenient. The only problem was the bed wasn't comfortable and I only had 3 hrs to sleep anyway so didn't really get any sleep. I recommend this hotel for a short stay.

I would have rated the stay higher, but my table in the dining room was sticky and had not been properly cleaned, and neither of the two coffee machines produced drinkable coffee. The capuccino was a mixture of hot water and milk. When I mentioned this issue, the person at the front desk shrugged and said it hadn't been working for some time! Otherwise the breakfast offerings were excellent and the food the previous evening well prepared and displayed.

There is a free shuttle to the airport which is convenient however do no expect the driver to help you by putting your bags in the shuttle. Make sure you show up earlier for your shuttle because the space is limited to about 7 people so if the shuttle is full, you have to wait the next one which comes after 20 minutes. Overall the rooms are average, we had a spider web on the sealing which made me question how well they clean the rooms. The area around the hotel have no transportation or stores so you are limited to dining in the hotel restaurant. The menu doesn't have many options to pick from. The hotel is okay for 1 night stay before flights.

Rooms are depressing and tiny. Bed is basically a cot. Shuttle driver was very unhelpful and rude. Never staying here again

We booked one night in Ibis Sofia hotel in purpose to get the best service. The price was about twice or even triple higher than other hotels in Sofia. There was very terrible problem - no hot water in bath. I was not able to take shower by cold water. When I complained at the reception, they told that there there is problem with the hot water. I asked to speak with the manager to get the refund for this stay, but they refused even to speak with me. Very disappointed.

Very convenient to the Sofia Airport. 24 hour shuttle was somewhat difficult to hook with from airport to hotel. On my arrival there was a bit of a language barrier.
