My stay at the A. Maos was fantastic. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised, as value accommodation usually has some concerns.
The hotel has everything you could possible need, it’s a family run business and the staff all want to make your stay pleasant.
Location was ideal, walking distance to the night life but far enough away to avoid the all night noise.
The hotel is well maintained and the rooms are very clean and spacious. The bar is open all hours and the food is delicious.
Thank you for the great hospitality and a fantastic holiday.

I will not recommend this property to anyone and I am very serious as the feedback involves safety and security. I was threatened by the receptionist Mr Hammad who also used obscene language with me and family. Reviewers may wonder what led him to do so and I also wonder and the only reason I could only think of is that he is either racist or a drug addict. The incident required that I contact the police. I will never return to this hotel. As a female with a child, I checked out immediately after the incident. This is in addition to other factors that involve cleanliness and noise.

Extremely clean hotel with friendly staff. Easy to get to with shuttle airport bus and a 5 minute walk. Close to 2 great Greek restaurants. Comfortable room and wonderful pool.

This hotel is a great value for money option in the centre of Ayia Napa. Not even 5 minutes on food to the square. It's decent accommodation with AC. The best thing about it is the staff. The fliendliest pool bar manager who remembers your order every morning. Great food at great prices. A fantastic place if you're looking for somewhere cheap and decent. Recommend!

I was surprised how spacious and clean the room is. The hotel is old from outside but the rooms are refurbished.

The Hotel - Apartament was clean and tidy, Looks very Nice inside, could be better, but that hotel and stars, Its look like more stars for that Hotel Apartament! Just 10-15 min to all the bars and pubs, close to the beach as well, I recommend that Hotel Apartment! Thank you! And see you soon

I had an amazing stay at A. Maos Hotel! The hotel is perfectly located: right at the top of the main street, a couple of minutes of walk from all the bars and clubs, but still isolated from the bar street noise and good for sleeping. The room was clean, well equipped and the wi-fi connection was great. Cleaning and changing of linen and towels were provided regularly too. The staff is very helpful and welcoming! I will definitely come back!

Nice, clean modest condo hotel. Clean, but not lavish. Staff friendly, good WiFi and a nice pool. Breakfast was OK. Air conditioning was not charged extra, unlike previous reviewer’s comment. For the price, a decent place to stay.

Overall stay was good, no issues. Room was clean, it was a bit noisy late at night as some guests were not very considerate and there was loads of door banging but then again this is Ayia Napa..you don’t really get sensible guests..

Received a room upgrade - ocean view from virtually new studio with all necessary amenities.
Staff super helpful, particularly Andri and Alexia.
Great value, good location, and pool well angled for all day sun.

I was put into an older room that was damp, but I told reception and they moved me to a newly renovated room straight away, they were brilliant, and the value for money was exceptional!

A good and cheap choice. We were 3 nights there, very good apartment with all necessary equipment. There is also a nice pool and a small one for kids, as well as a bar. Near to Ayia Napa center and supermarket 50 meters away. Very good choice

The apartment was very clean and spacious for its size. The ladies at the reception was wonderful and was very helpful when needed. The location was good, a 5-10 minute walk down to bar street in Napa and about a 7-10 minute drive to the other side to Nissi beach. Overall lovely apartments and has all you need for a two night stay in Ayia Napa

3 of us stayed in the superior quadruple room which looked as though it was newly renovated. The room was clean and well set out with all the facilities we needed. Bathroom was perfect. The kitchenette although we didn’t make much use of had the main appliances and tools you would need to make meals. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is great. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The hotel has 2 buildings , one is newly refurbished and the other one old and run down. I booked a superior studio which is in the new buildings and was given a studio in the old building. The room was not nice at all and very old as well as noisy.
The reception was saying that i was cheated by expedia as I paid for a superior room but the hotel got less money. I couldn’t believe he was saying that!! I made him understand that the problem was between the hotel and expedia not the customer!! He was not happy but me the new room which was very nice especially for the price. The next morning the manager apologised and explained to me that there was a mixup with the rooms.

Hotel is a bit old and needs a renovation, it is about 5 mins walk from the square. We requested a double room when we booked but when we arrived the lady at the check in told us that they don't have any available and she will change our room after 2 days so we checked in into a 2 single beds room.
To consider:
-You pay extra for wifi (rate is per day per device).
-You pay extra if you want air conditioning and compared to the price of the room they charge too much for AC and during high season the price of AC increases.
-No safe in the room, instead you can rent a small box to put your valuables in the lobby.
-They clean the rooms every 2 days and you have to hang the "please make up room" sign on the door or they will not clean the room.
-The room door doesn't lock from the inside, although nothing happened i would feel much safer if i could lock the door before sleeping.

We arrived to the apts to find no staff available. We called them and then waited 15 minutes for someone to arrive and give us our room key. Upon entering our ant filled room, we discovered there were no towels & the a/c didn't work. We again called and were told to call back in 5 minutes. After 15 minutes they called us back & said that towels would be provided in 30-45 minutes, hopefully, and that we had not paid for a/c so none would be provided. We were not even offered to opportunity to pay for it.
The room itself is big and clean, other than the ants. The location is good but due to such bad service, we will not be staying there again.
