Worst hotel experience ever. Don't believe the images used to promote this hotel. First off, only the lower 3 floors are hotel rooms... the rest of the building is residential apartments. The biggest issue I had was that my second-floor "window" was covered with fake ivy which I thought was strange. I figured it was just blocking an unsightly view. Later that night, I discovered my window abutted the restaurant deck next door! Loud conversations and restaurant noise late into the evening... including a large group singing Happy Birthday at 11 PM. Loud talking and clean-up sounds (clanking plates and glasses) continued until nearly midnight. I had visited the front desk to request a room change and was told that was not an option... and I'm assuming many other rooms abutt the restaurant too. Besides the noise, the room was in really poor condition. Bathroom and shower were dirty, crappy furniture that was falling apart, lighting fixtures were missing in the ceiling, phone wiring was balled up on the desk, etc. I also visited the rooftop deck and many of the deck tables/chairs were falling apart and unusable. I was booked to stay for 2 nights but I checked out the next morning and moved to EVEN hotel nearby. EVEN was a paradise compared to the Truss. I had stayed at Truss a year ago and it was fine. It has gone SERIOUSLY downhill since. This dump should be taken off of Hotels.com until they clean up their act. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Good sixed room, facilities in room were very good and cleanliness was good. A little shabby, could do with some updating in the décor. Staff very helpful. Well placed for subway and theatres.

Great location and free on street parking when we went on weekend. Room was very clean and had mini fridge and microwave. Roof top nice but dark at night. Downside to room was that it was too dark. There werent enough lights in the room. The lights were also on a weird timer so they would turn on and off randomly. Luckily did not turn on in middle of night but did turn on early morning before we woke. Also weird random siren noise coming from near bathroom.

This hotel is a cost-effective option relatively near to the theater district and Times Square. The room was clean and the platform type bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a very accessible shower with a removable wand. The room was serviced daily with fresh towels etc. Nearby areas were a bit sketchy, but since this is my first visit to New York I may be more nervous than necessary. No breakfast provided, but lots of bagels etc. nearby. I appreciated the upgrade to a larger room. Staff were pleasant.
