The check-in was very good. Front desk polite. There was remodeling going on so the hallway was dusty and doors prepped for painting.
The pillows felt like wads of firm yarn balls in a bag and the bed was not as soft as we have had at other hotels.
The shower water took about 5 minutes to come out hot and was tricky to get it tempered.
Breakfast had a good selection but the orange juice was definitely watered down.
I would not stay here again.

Very clean and well kept hotel, friendly service too, but the road noise is horrific. It’s so loud than even my noise canceling ear buds didn’t keep the noise out. Definitely not a good place for people that want to go to bed early or sleep in late.

the room had bugs on the Bed and in the shower and when i asked for a room change i was rudely informed that they didnt have any rooms available

We stay at this particular La Quinta annually for business. It's well maintained, conveniently located and has the best complimentary breakfast. The price is also reasonable. Highly recommend.

Very nice new hotel. My only question is the required $150.00 deposit for incidental charges. I understand the need but $150.00 seems a little excessive.

We were just passing through. Looked like a fairly new La Quinta Inn. Very clean & quiet. Close to a lot of restaurants.

Our room is very nice and really roomy. We were very impressed by its cleanliness, the inviting and refreshing, aroma. I, positively, could go on and on about the this La Quinta! Great job!!

Room had the air conditioner set for cool in January. Heater took a long while to affect any temperature change. TV remote Was only able to turn the TV on and off, nothing more.

We came because of the weather. My husband was scheduled for surgery at Christus Mother Francis. Since your hotel is the closest and the reviews were good I booked a night with you so I wouldn't have far to drive if the roads were bad. We were pleasantly surprised at a comfortable stay. Thank you.

Everything was good. My only issue was the unavailability of a handicap room even though I requested 1 when I made the reservation. The hotel did attempt to rectify this hiccup by giving us a suite. We were here for back surgery and the patient had difficulty attempting to shower in this room. It would help if ALL rooms had a handicap bar on the side of the entry side of ALL showers in addition to the bar on the opposite end of the shower.

The hotel phone in the lobby and my room were broken, so while the staff was friendly, I had trouble getting in touch to have my room key reprogrammed when it didnt work the second night. It was fairly quiet and clean. Very fast wifi.

The most terrible experience ive had at a hotel. Checked into room and it was not the room I booked. The tv did not work so they put me into another room knowing the tv in that room did not work. Joel the clerk said there was nothing they could do. I told them I was going to check into another hotel in the area. Joel never offered to help me find another hotel in the Tyler area and refused to give me his full name incase I had trouble with my room refund. He said I wanted his last name so I could harrass him. Complete unprofessional. I will never stay at another La Quinta again.

We have stayed her numerous of times, its preferred because it is close to our family's home. Although this (1/1/24) coming in at passed midnight, our cards did not work at back entrance. We went around to the front went up to 3rd floor and our cards did not work at our room. We had to go back down stairs to the front desk and for some reason the person that orginally checked us in did not activate the key card for 2 nights. That was a huge inconvenience for us. Other than that, that was our only issue. We will continue to stay at this hotel, in the event that we go back to Tyler.

No hot water for shower and fridge did not work. I had to take a cold shower in the evening and the next morning prior to my heart bypass surgery.

This hotel exceeded my expectations and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the beds were super comfortable as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a nice weekend in Tyler.

I enjoyed the wonderful free breakfast. I stayed 5 nights. It was extremely quiet except for about an hour at bedtime one night. Overall, wonderful!

The elevator only went to the 2nd floor, my room was on the third floor. Free breakfast on Saturday began at 7:00, I checked out at 6:45 (there wasn’t even any coffee in the lobby at that time). Was told the elevator would be fixed (but after my departure time).

Someone needs to let Expedia know they charge all guests a $150 incidental fee that can take up to 5 days to come off your card depending on your bank according to desk clerk. My issue is you can’t charge anything to your room? What incidentals?

I will NOT EVER go to this property again because I have NEVER been required to pay a $150 deposit to cover any damage to the property!! I had already paid for the room prior to arrival. Since it was too late to find another hotel that night I stayed. Thank you , Expedia, for the $50 compensation. Please advise your customers of hotels that require this outrageous amount!! Take this hotel off my options in the future.

The property and facilities were fine. What is not fine is that La Quinta informed us upon check-in that they would be holding an additional 1 5 0 dollars on our credit card because we booked the reservation thru Expedia and that they would not release it until after we checked out. They also warned that it could take up to 3-4 days before the release showed up on our account.
We are now trying to decide if we should stop using La Quinta or Expedia or both.
