We had a wonderful stay. Rooms are comfortable, and the views are just stunning. We even got to see a moose right from our bedroom window.

An awesome view of Denali Peak. Just georgous. Close to a lot of fun dining options

The main lodge is the only nice thing. Rooms are motel 6 at best and the place is over crowded with your buses full of unfriendly people who clog up the dining rooms.

Nice view. Hotel food is ok. Wish shuttle to Main st can be til 8 or 9 pm for summer time

Our stay was amazing!! From the whole setting driving up the road to the lodge to the views to the rooms - everything was beyond our expectations! Upon checking we were surprised to find out that our friends and I had been upgraded to suites so that we could have adjoining rooms. What an awesome surprise!! The rooms were great - fireplace in the rooms, large jacuzzi tub, fantastic king size bed and an unbeatable view of Denali! To top it off we woke up to a clear view of Denali!

The views outside the lodge are beautiful. The inside lobby is grand and what you expect for a large lodge. The room was clean and comfortable. What we did not like was the restaurant (only one open due to covid effects) which we totally understand, we also understand everyone is under staffed this year. But, the breakfast was only Buffett style- very few people want to spend $26 a head for breakfast, there was no alacart offerings. The lodge had a station set up in the lobby with coffee and a few breakfast sandwiches and fruit. The line was huge. We would have loved to hop into the town BUT the shuttle hours are 10AM- 5:45PM! we had no car so this was extremely inconvenient. Most folks are up early for tours and exploring 10 is way to late in the morning. And, if you eat dinner in town and you have no car you have to walk back the 1.7 mile. Luckily we are avid walkers :). You can easily spend one night in Talkeenta to see the town. We did the fly over Denali and River float in the same day.

A beautiful, comfortable place to stay. Over priced, no amenities. No air conditioning

This lodge has one of the best views of Denali south side from Talkeetna. The Mountain View rooms are spacious and great for sunrises and sunsets. The lawns are well maintained and inviting. Wildflowers adorn the backyard and trail leading to the river. Food was good at the restaurant but there is staff and food shortage all over Alaska due to covid. It seemed to be an welcoming place for diverse groups of people. Highly recommended.

Nice resort. Nice drive up appeal. Very clean and updated. 1/2 way point to most locations. Nice blacktop trail for walking. No AC and hard to circulate air from open window. Blackout curtains needed to be longer to help block sun. I would have preferred a softer pillow.

Check in is at 3pm however 2 rooms that we booked were not ready until 7:30pm. Many other guests that were checking in also had this same problem. I understand they are short staffed, other than this, it’s a great place to stay.

Property has a beautiful back deck area with great mount denali view. Our room also had mountain view, which we loved. Room was spacious and nice. Overall it is a great place.

Check in was at 3 pm, I (and many others) had to wait until 7:30 pm and later to get a room key. They claimed they were fully booked and had not enough employees, but they did not make an effort to let clients know ahead of time (via email or their web site) that they should expect LONG delays to check in. They did not make any efforts to make guest feel comfortable during the waiting period or provided any partial refunds. When I tried to cancel my reservation and move to another hotel, they said if I did they would not refund my room. I felt they did not care about guests at all.

The views were gorgeous! Overall the property was very nice. The food at the bistro was delicious, which I didn’t expect. I would definitely stay here again.

They didn't have the restaurant open for breakfast. There was no service in the rooms. You had to go get any fresh towels or more coffee. They said it was because of covid but we stayed in 5 other hotels on our trip and all of them had all their restaurants open and rooms being cleaned. Other than that, the location is great and the views were great.

Hotel lobby and main area was quite nice. Our room was in a separate wing so to speak and was very old and dated. Was not at all what I expected based on photos. I was disappointed had I know I would have rather stayed near downtown instead.

Didn’t get a warm and happy feeling, wasn’t the experience or stay I expected for $188 a night.

Outstanding location! Clean rooms that you can expect from good quality hotels in Europe or Washington.

We completely loved the lodge. Not just gorgeous views of the Denali Range, but the lodge's common areas are beautiful.

Views from the pricey Mountainside are spectacular when the weather cooperates, which isn't that often. The interior of the hotel is lovely, rooms are clean and very comfortable; appears to be very well run. After eating a dinner and a breakfast at the hotel my boyfriend refused to eat there again, so we ate in town, which luckily is very near the hotel.
There is a large viewing deck facing Mt. Denali for all hotel guests, so it is unnecessary to splurge for the mountainside room unless you ant to wake up and go to sleep with the view. Some of the staff were very friendly and some weren't. The morning desk clerk did not seem happy to be there at 7:00 AM.

We had to wait 45 minutes to get our room. The hotel is nice, but withoyt caracter. There is nothing to do at the hotel and you need a car or shuttle to go anywhere. It seems to be an hotel for older couples coming from a cruise to see Denali.

The location and facilitates are among the best within striking distance of Denali National Park. You're close to the charming town of Talkeetna, and the northern view gives you the best chance of seeing the northern lights. That being said, the rooms are rather disappointing. The feel like those that might be found in a two star hotel rather than a 'lodge.'
The staff was very nice, particularly those in the restaurant. We sat outside on their charming patio watching sunset over the Alaska Range. That evening, the northern lights made an appearance.

This hotel is THE place to stay in Talkeetna if you want to just be able to look out of your hotel room window and see the breathtaking and awesome Mt. McKinley! In addition to the lovely hotel and indoor lounge areas, which all take advantage of this incredible sight, the outdoor deck is the place where everyone comes out to see Denali peak out from the clouds and rise majestically above all of the other mountains. It is truly an experience if you are one of the lucky "30 percent" who witness it.

Hotel should offer coffee tea stations, water, afternoon snack. There's nothing "personal" although the view is quite spectacular.

Staff was great. Beautiful view from back deck. Front room with fireplace was nice. Only possible bad thing was no microwave in room. Had a great stay.
