Overall is good. Staff are polite and nice. The public areas of the hotel incl the restaurant, lobby and rooftop bar look very nice. But there is water stains around the bathroom and the wooden floor of the room. Shower tub has noise when water comes out but not affect the shower.

Workers very open to help my family, kids and baby included. Once the front desk made a mistake due to a misunderstanding (not her fault), but she don't stop to look for a solution until find it.

Beautiful and new-looking hotel as they have just renovated. While some of the amenities were not up yet, enjoyed the stay as the room and bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and new.

The hotel was pleasant although the street was a little noisy late at night and early hours with mopeds which was a little disturbing but I could not fault the friendliness of the staff during my stay.

Stayed here our first two nights in hanoi. Room was as expected and service was very good. Great to have breakfast in the morning - lots of choice available. Room is quieter then expected considering the busy streets outside. Would stay again.

The hotel and staff were excellent. We were able to walk to all attractions within the old city. Lots to do and see, take the city bus tour to find your bearings.

Very nice rooms. Staff was truly awesome and so friendly. Free breakfast was much more than I expected. Hotel is near everything you want to see. Overall great value. Originally reserved the Sheraton at double the price and happy we changed to this hotel.

Luxury decor and bathroom fittings. Room slightly small but sufficient. Breakfast was only ok cos most food are not warm. Location is good and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Bed on the soft side.

My main concern with this hotel is fire safety. I don't know what kind of fire code exists in Vietnam, or if it is even enforced, but the Delano Hotel would never pass a Fire Marshall's inspection in North America. 1) The stairwell for a 7+ floor building is extremely narrow and partially obstructed by mattresses, cases of water, room service trays (which never seemed to be cleared away). This continued floor after floor and made traversing the stairs incredibly difficult even in a non-emergency setting. 2) There are no fire-rated doors separating the stairwell from the hallway of each floor to prevent the spread of fire and facilitate evacuation. 3) Many of the rooms are "cozy rooms" and have no window. If there was a fire, there would be no way to escape (separately, I don't feel this was well advertised during the booking process). The hotel does have a sprinkler system, but these are not always reliable and given the other obvious oversights, I wondered if they were even operational and regularly tested. Hotel fires occur often enough and the idea of one starting in this hotel is a very scary thought. I felt compelled to share my concerns.

Hotel Delano was a great find for us after a shaky start at a different hotel. The hotel is thoughtfully decorated with a quality finish and attention to detail. It is clean and the space is effectively utilised. What really makes the hotel though is the staff who are amazing. Warm, friendly and efficient, we knew if we were stuck with something, they will be there to help. From the moment we arrived, Daniel was there with a smile helping with our luggage, to concierges Lucy and Julia who were so helpful with things to do and then Sunny at reception. The whole team we so warm and carrying and most impressive was Caroline in the restaurant. She totally owned her space, she is professional and efficien but at the same time warm and caring. That's why we came back and started again when we came back through Hanoi. One last thing. In a country just beginning the customer service journey, catering for English speaking tourists, hotels are very conscious of the reach of the internet and how important reviews are. The same can't be said for the touist agencies we encountered. Next time we will book our tours through the hotel. They have a vested interest to look after you!

we stayed for 3 nights at delano Hanoi hotel, the staff were fantastic specially Julia who offered us a warm welcome + great tips about hanoi and Caroline from the breakfast room who took good care of us. the rooms are spacious eniugh and well decorated even the window-less rooms. the hotel is situated nearby the night market (only few mns walk) The hotel itself is well maintained and very clean. I will definitely come back here.

Hotel is lovely in a nice area the staff in the reception are lovely the restaurant has lovely view of the town and the area have fantastic restaurants easy waking to the old city and many tour companies around , the only think I have to complain is the last night around 4 ama cigarettes small was coming from the air conditioner and wake me up I forgot to say something wen I check out

We had a wonderful two nights here. The staff were great!!! They got us booked in on a good city tour to see everything as our stay was short. The hotel is very clean and tidy!!! Only negative was the smell of smoke from someone else's room one evening. The bed was the most comfortable bed in our 3 weeks away! We left behind a jacket and the staff were great to get in touch and look after for us- can't thank you enough!! Would stay again next time!!

We had the most amazing stay at the hotel. The staff are extremely attentive and they make sure that you have everything you need. We booked a superior double room and it is a tad small but the bathroom is a great size with a wonderful shower. Breakfast was also fantastic. There is a buffet as well as made to order eggs or pho. Overall, we had a great experience here and we wish we could have stayed until the end of our trip! We will book here again next time we are in Hanoi.

This is a very new and contemporary design hotel at the time of my stay, and I was lucky enough to get a free upgrade from superior double to executive double. I think the management paid attention to room design and materials. The bed was quite comfortable, bathroom was good, Wifi was fast. The neighbourhood is also quite an interesting local area as it is in the old quarters. Overall very good experience
