Would not have stayed the night if I would have known how horrible this was, the entire room was filled with a layer of dirt and dust. Neither of the TVs worked, room key didn’t work, We had to shake out the blankets to clean them up. we all had to keep our shoes on the entire time. We told the front desk. (Bartender) and she didn’t seem to care. Very old beds and decor, looks like nobody had been in that room in months. Rooms directly above a bar so music plays all night.

Checked in at the bar. A drunk patrion imediatly tried to fight us. Followed us up to our room. Didnt feel safe all night for us or the car out back. Not to mention the bar plays lound music till 2am. Dont stay here.

close to castle mtn ski area. No heat in 2 rooms. staff super nice, gave me space heater to plug in and heat room was 62C in room before that. downstairs pub has no food or pub food, kitchen closed very early. no snacks. just alcohol and slot machines. They should make enough off slot machines to fix heating in hotel. No customers in pub except slot machine patrons.

I loved the rustic and retro dated bar and was very pleased with the rooms

Absolutely would never stay here again or advise anyone else to.The room was disgustingly dirty. The fridge was full of grime and mold, the bath had a huge buildup of grime, radiators had dirt and dead flies all over. The mattress had broken springs and was noisy anytime someone moved, sheets were stained and dirty so was the bed cover and pillows. We slept bundled in our clothes and covered the pillows with hoodies so we didn’t have to touch anything. Manager wouldn’t listen to complaint. We got in late about 10 PM, we had paid for 2 nights but got up at 6AM and left ASAP, rented a hotel elsewhere took a loss for the money we paid for the second night. It was worth losing the second nights money just to get away from the cesspit they call the Cosmopolitan hotel. Just plain gross, don’t stay there, yuck.

Old not clean not worth the money they charge it is a 75.00$ a night room max

I had expected an older hotel. However, the price point for what was delivered is actually laughable. Do not book here.

Would not recommend staying here, one room had a valve leak in shower. We saved the place from flooding! And not even a thank you or any compensation offered. Manager a coward, wasn’t to be heard from or seen, he got the lady at the bar to communicate with us. The soap was old and half full, twin beds moved and the floor was dirty. No check in or out desk, have to go to the bar downstairs. Not a place I would recommend for the price we paid!!

Reasonable price. Definitely an older place but beds were clean.

Room was really dirty. There was a lot of hair in tub. It also looked like the top blankets had never been washed (white dog hair all over them).
Also ZERO service checking in or out. Just a note at the front desk to talk to the bartender, who then wasn't sure how to check me in. When I checked out, the gate was rolled down, so I wasn't sure what to do....
It was a very weird experience. I wasn't sure if it was safe to stay, but it was quiet at least.

our room was above a dance club so loud music all night. not great for a family with kids. the was never any staff around and we didn't have enough towels and couldn't get more so we went and bought some. There was food left in the fridge when we checked in. interesting place.

The owner and staff were very good and looked after us very well. No issues.

I chose this place to stay as I was travelling with my dog. The bed was comfortable, the a/c worked and I did have a mountain view which were the three positives. The hotel itself is in great need of updating. The taps wouldn’t turn off, the furnishings and carpet were very worn, the hallway did not smell good…. And the room itself could have used a very thorough cleaning and then upgrading. I believe it’s under new ownership and they are trying to get things going again. The staff were very friendly and helpful and after a long day of driving the bed felt wonderful.

We cancelled because we were there after 6 and our rooms were not ready and there was a sign saying it was closed waiting on refund

Blairmore is a quiet mountain town with very little evening activity. The Cos hotel is a little old fashioned but clean and quiet on a weekday.

For the price this older hotel was just fine
Great town!

We didn’t end up staying as we were riding motorcycles and we felt there was not adequate/appropriate safe parking.

Blaring music with pounding bass until after 3:00am, then folks yelling and swearing. No sleep at all! Totally disorganized at check in, took over an hour to get into a pre-booked room. Awfully disappointed and will definitely not be back nor recommend.

Room was nicely decorated and mostly clean. There are not proper check-in/out people. The restaurant is open only for dinner and all the options in the community are few and very expensive. There were no amenities: NO FRIDGE, NO MICROWAVE, NOT EVEN A COFFEE POT to make coffee. I still don't know how much I will be paying, definately will not go there again!

Will not satay at this property again and will not recommend, Rather sleep with the bears

The place looks old and shady from the outside. Inside the rooms are super clean and comfy!!

Room was NOT as advertised. Supposed to be 2 doubles and a queen. Instead it was 2 doubles and a old very worn pull out sofa. No bedding or pillows in room for pullout, took over 40 minutes to have bedding brought up. Phone in room doesn't work. Hair all over bathroom. Their only family room is over the bar! Pounding music all night kept kids from falling asleep. No staff at front desk. Had to call from my cellphone repeatedly to get any service. Too many things wrong, broken or dirty in room to add it all here. Very displeased.

The place is a rundown which might not be a big deal for one night sleep, but the filthy room I walked into with a horrible leaky bathroom and hair all over the pillow and mattress of both single beds made me check out moments after I checked in and sleep in my vehicle that night.
