Very helpful front desk staff. Room was clean and spacious. Very convenient for a trip to tour Ole Miss with teens who really enjoyed the pool and exercise room.

Great location!! But this property really needs a facelift. I am sure that It gets alot of wear and tear but for the price, you would still expect the basics and a clean room. The mini frig had something brown frozen in it, the carpet was stained, the desk was broken or not attached correctly, the shower curtain was not long enough so anytime someone showered, water went everywhere, and the black around the tub was less than lovely!

The beds are so hard and uncomfortable. The towels and wash rags smelled. We will not stay here again. The guy at the front desk was very nice though.

VERY overpriced on site breakfast. Ice machine on third floor was in accessible due to fans all in hallways.

Property misrepresented as having two restaurants and two bars/lounges. One restaurant, but only open for breakfast. No bars/lounges.
No service for cleaning rooms, didn't even bother to empty the trash daily. Operation run on the cheap.

Staying at this hotel was great as it was near everything during my stay. Upon arrival, the desk clerk was very welcoming, she explained everything to make the stay pleasant. Upon getting inside the room so we can start unpacking, we noticed the room was not clean. There was a used condom wrapper on the floor and that made the stay feel as if they just spot clean and not clean. Also, it would have been nice to know upfront about the $8 per night parking fee.

On non football weekends it is very quiet and clean. Super convenient to the Square and to the university

Close to the square for dining and shopping. Description of room was incorrect. After call with Expedia hotel was kind enough to accommodate us.

Customer service was awesome, Clinton introduced himself and was very professional and knowledgeable of his job duties. He was very patient, helpful, nice, and friendly. The room was very clean. My husband and I were very satisfied so we decided to stay an extra night and would most definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

No plate in the microwave, gave hand towels for rags, remote for the tv didn’t work

Nothing special, like a motel 6. Coffee pot didn't work, only 2 bathclothes and I asked for more and the cleaning lady never brought more to me. The bed was on a opposite wall from the TV at a 90 degree angle and it was hard to see.

My day was pretty good. The hotel is very clean. The service was pretty nice. Free parking. Unfortunately they have a Starbucks but it’s always closed only for breakfast! The Wi-Fi kept cutting in and out and the television shut off and turned back on. You could definitely hear a little bit through the walls.

We arrived at the hotel and went up to the room. The room was not the type we reserved. Went back down to the lobby and were told we had been downgraded and the room type we reserved was not available. A hold had been placed on our credit card. I had to ask why the card hold was for the higher price when we were not able stay in that type of room. The hotel staff said that had been happening and fixed the $300 error but the hold for the higher amount remained for 3 days. I feel that if I hadn’t addressed it they would have charged the card the higher room rate. All in all a lack of concern on their part. We were there for a wedding. The location was the only positive.

Location of this hotel is excellent for walking to ole miss and The Square. Bathroom could use an update as ours had mold and water damage in the tub.

Comfortable beds. Room was clean. Nice bathroom. Quiet even though it was very busy being a football weekend. Parking very convenient. Within walking distance to the square and other places of interest.

The hotel was having AC issues in the lobby. When we entered the room the pillows on the bed looked like someone had laid on them. The shower did not drain and was very dirty. Also the toilet didn’t look clean and there was barely any toilet paper on the roll and no more available rolls in the room.

I was very disappointed with the room cleanliness and all essentials when arriving in room. Did not have ample amount of towels, half a roll of toilet paper and no extra roll. Keurig had pod left in it from prior guest & was not restocked with coffee items.
I asked front desk to have house keeping to change the sheets on the bed because I was questioning if that was even done. Front desk said they’d take care of it. Unfortunately, they did not honor my request and bed sheets were not changed. I’ve never experienced this in a hotel before and I’ve traveled many places.
Hotel personnel were extremely attentive. Seems to be a disconnect with their cleaning service.

No air conditioning in lobby or common areas. The thermostat on the wall in my room was falling off. Shampoo and conditioner dispensers had pulled off the wall and were sitting on the shelf. Paint chipping in numerous spots. Staff very friendly, but my overall impression was a property in bad state of general disrepair.

This has been our go to place to stay since our daughter started school and it has always been great.
Pros- Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Check in was seamless as well as check out.
Cons- Mold in areas of the shower.
Overall, still a nice place to stay, just seems like some of the small details got overlooked.

This property has a great location to the university and we chose it as our son was in Oxford for a campus tour. It gives quick access to the campus and if you make a left out of the parking lot you can get to the downtown area easily. I would say both are walkable. On our visit the pool was not working and the common areas were hot to the point it felt like their A/C may have been out. The room itself had some recent repairs to the shower and they were of poor quality. Also be aware that this hotel charges for parking ($8/night). Overall it's a great hotel based on it's location alone and the negatives mentioned are all things that can be remedied. I would stay here again. It technically was probably "offseason" with school not being in session.

My room was not clean and smelled like smoke. I had to ask for more linens for the pull out couch as they were not already in the room. These conditions were very disappointing for the amount the room cost.

The AC was out in the lobby so it was very hot. The room smells like it had been smoked in. The outdoor bar at the roof was closed. Not worth the price.IMO this reflects poorly on Marriott not the people working here. They said the ac was out for months. The corporate headquarters should get some resources on this place.

Property looked nice initially but they had several issues. The air in the main lobby was broke. Our sign stopped would not move. It was stuck and even after talking to the front desk no one came to fix it. I ended up taking it out myself. The thermostat in our room didn’t work either. The pool was empty. It was a nice looking facility but overall we weren’t impressed.

The pool was empty, the AC was broken, star bucks closed early, roof top bar was not open. Description was a total lie when booking. House keeping did not come to our room. We had empty soap bottles, not enough towels, no toilet paper

Dirty stained carpet, overwhelmed front desk clerks and they ran out of washcloths. The bottom floor by the pool smelled of mold I will not stay here again.

Booked stay. No notice that pay at property wouldn’t be allowed with cash. No servicing of rooms during 2 day stay. Had to ask for toilet paper and towels. No body wash in room at all. Hotel desk had pile of swept up trash in corner the whole visit. Very hot in hallways. AC didn’t work very well - never cooled down to temp set.
Rooms were clean at least.
No breakfast provided but there is a Starbucks on property. Have to pay for parking -8.00/night.

I chose this hotel because of its fun, vibrant feel online, but it was very deceiving. Upon arrival, the exterior looked great, parking lot was clean. The lobby air was broken for my entire 3 day stay.
The rooftop restaurant (that drew me to this location and was highly promoted online) had been closed down for several months. Was not aware of parking fees until at check-in.
My room was very disappointing, missing pillowcases, and the ones that did have a case, some were put on inside-out. The furniture, and phone was very dusty, the desk had a coffee stain on it, which clearly indicates that it wasn't wiped down, or properly cleaned. Reported the issues to the front desk person, and was informed that the cleaning staff had already gone home. Not worth the price paid.

I waited over an hour in line to check in and my room still wasn’t ready. Also they made me pay an extra parking fee that was not disclosed during bookings.
