Acceptable for a few nights stay and allowed dogs which was a huge plus. Didnt have a problem having 3 dogs, even though website says 2 max. (I did call beforehand just to confirm). Did NOT know about the $200 deposit, was not listed on the hotels.com website. Room was small, bathroom was miserably small, but we made it work. Beds were incredibly uncomfortable in my opinion. Housekeeping only stopped by when we asked which gets tedious to keep up with. Staff wasnt overly friendly but they were accommodating so i guess it makes up for it there. It is right on the boardwalk and beach which is so nice. Would stay again for the price.

Pre-season stay, and our room has been fully renovated. No coffee maker, and minimal outlets for charging anything. No closet/hangers. There are hooks. This hotel is right on the boardwalk. Definitely a good place to stay in the summer. Everyone was nice, parking was easy. There is a parking fee. There are stairs, no elevators, so getting to check-in had stairs to climb. Overall a great two night stay.

There was no night maintenance on duty our toilet wouldn't flush the phone in the room didn't work to call the front desk had to use my cell phone. They said they would send somebody when they came on and hour and a half later nobody was still here we had to call again couldn't use the toilet at all !!!

We arrived there was a lady in the front desk asking for her full refund back was no heat in her room receptionist stated she couldn’t do anything without the manager called he never answered the lady became was upset cause had kids and wanted to leave to go to another hotel I decided to ignore that and still checked in went to my room as we had booked a king size bed, we got there, it was 2 beds in the room went back front desk stated that I had booked a king size but the receptionist that dealt with the woman earlier was there stated they didn’t have a king size room I was very upset my partner stated it’s ok went back to room when we got there we decided to sleep but my partner got up in the night the bathroom didn’t flush my partner had to fix it himself they didn’t have any trash bin in the bathroom. The room was cold there was no heating ventilation we couldn’t call front desk as there were no phones so we decided to leave early we always leave around 11 but decided to leave by 7:30 since we didn’t get any sleep because of the coldness in the room we packed our stuff went to front desk stated they couldn’t do anything because manager was not there receptionist called the manager and he didn’t pick up I was very upset with all the things that happened they did not do anything so I will never go there again didn’t get my money back he said he would call and let me know what manager said but never got the call

Awful hotel for several reasons. The office where you check in is up a flight of stairs, not handicap accessible at all, no elevator. The ramp up to my room was wobbly so I walked around it. The bathroom was so TINY I almost got stuck several times since the sink/vanity is a foot away from the wall and shower. Steer clear of you are handicapped or plus size. I will say I liked the decor, the room was bright and the bed was very comfy. Sadly, the bad far outweighs the good. Plus, they charge $15 for parking which is insane and not mentioned on every website. They also placed a $200 hold on my credit card, which also is not mentioned. I would give it zero to one star, except the bed was very good and the place was clean.

Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean. If you making a quick trip this is a good Choice however….we were there for 5 days. No coffee, only one drawer in a room for 5 people. I asked for aground floor room, as I was traveling with mature ladies and still ended up having to go up what felt like 567 stairs. We were there in Nov and they had ONE paper thin blanket in the bed and when we asked for more, they gave us another paper thin blanket.

The location of the hotel, price and cleanliness were great. However, the room was all the way in the back tucked behind a wall. The only thing we were able to see was a gray wall in front of our window. The lights were on all night on a timer outside our room. It was also very noisy. We heard everything from music, to laundry to other people using their bathrooms. We both slept horrible and unfortunately, will not be back.

There was a $15 per night charge to park. It WAS on the hotel website but i did not see it on the Hotels.com site. It advertised pet friendly but there was a $75 non refundable fee for having a pet with you. Again, listed on the hotels website but i did not see it on hotels.com. Both of these i will take responsibility for since I did not check either the fine print or I may have missed noticing. However, there was no hot water. Sink, tub, or shower dit not have hot water. I ran the water for 20 minutes, took a shower, wife showered, and still no hot water. It was slightly cooler than room temperature. Not my idea of a pleasant experience. I wont go back.

We weren't aware that the parking cost an extra $15. We are older, so the long walk to the room was somewhat difficult. There were only very thin covers on the bed and we couldn't regulate the heat, so we were quite cold because it was no longer summer. The staff was pleasant and accommodating, and the room was clean.

Review of Hotel Cabana Oceanfront/Boardwalk Reviewed 2 days ago Hotel Cabana is one of the cleanest, most comfortable and quietest hotels we have stayed in. The rooms are very spacious and the bed is extremely comfortable. The staff is friendly, helpful and courteous. Restaurants are within walking distance and the boardwalk is clean and safe to stroll. We are impressed with the modern rooms and delighted with the proximity to Cape May and the Garden State Parkway. We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and will definitely return this summer. Date of stay: November 2023 Trip type: Traveled as a couple

The rooms and hotel interior desgn is very pleasent. The beds are comfortable. The patio over looking the beach is beautiful. I love that they allow dogs at a reasonable fee. I will visit again, and again.

Overall the property was clean, modern, and in a good location, and front desk staff was helpful upon checkin so I’m giving 2 stars, but I wouldn’t stay here again. We booked our room 3 months ago with a king bed, the room we were given was listed as a king in their system but the bed was a full sized. We asked to move to a king room but they said they were all booked, so they gave us a room with 2 queens which was appreciated, but still not what we booked. The shower was also a downgrade as the first room had an upgraded walk-in shower and the second room had an old tub shower. I’m not sure how they were all full, the place was a ghost town. On day 3, we came back at the end of the day and our door was left WIDE OPEN by housekeeping for hours. We left the hotel at 6am and didn’t come back until 5pm to find our door wide open (the doors don’t automatically close, you have to pull them shut). Luckily nothing was stolen, but totally unacceptable.

The hotel was in a great location to the boardwalk and had ample parking and was clean. We upgraded our room to ocean front and paid an expensive price for the off-season for the upgrade. There was several of these rooms vacant. Then found out after we moved rooms that there was an event being hosted right outside of our rooms which no one told us about when we checked in. No one hosting this event had the oceanfront rooms where the even was being held. The guests were partying until 230 am creating a noise disturbance for the 3 rooms that were occupied in the oceanfront area. I called the front desk to complain and no one answered. So apparently if you want to host a large event for free at this hotel on the patio near the oceanfront rooms, you can do so even if you don’t have the expensive rooms! And you can party all night and no one will bother you. It was a wedding reception being hosted. The staff should have disclosed this and they did not. They also didn’t tell them to be quiet after a certain hour or limit the amount of guests they could have. Very upsetting! When we mentioned it at checkout they seemed to not care. Will not stay here again! I got no sleep and it was way overpriced for the off-season. There are better options. Also the linens were thin and terrible!

My family was impressed with the cleanliness of the entire property! The room was excellent, as the bunk beds / queen bed were perfect for a family of four. The cabana area overlooking the Seaport Pier was a great place to relax with our friends, and the staff was courteous. Would definitely return!

Noticed on my credit card statement $15 dollars every day of stay. I called hotel and complained about the charge they told me it was for parking at the hotel! I was not informed of this at check in and I am refusing to pay this. Never heard of anything like this when staying at a place! Bad business! They told me to call Expedia I tot them no you charged me not Expedia!

Did not like that they charged you for parking per day and even after you paid you were told if you left your parking spot you may not have one when you come back. When I stay at a hotel I expect to have a parking spot especially if you are charging me a fee for it ever day . I have stayed at many places in Wildwood and have never had to pay for my spot at the hotel and always had one available if I left .

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The rooms were nice. There was a fridge,microwave and sink with dishes. There is a great deck overlooking the boardwalk and beach. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

This hotel location is great...right on the Boardwalk. Our only problem was that the hotel is elevated to protect against flooding, but no elevators, so we had to walk up two flights of stairs to get to our room.

It was pretty good. Comparing to the room next to us, no complains. Our air conditioner stop working and they fixed it immediately. Room next to us, did have a very poorly bathroom design. Our bathroom was ok. It depends what room you will get.

Hotel was beautifully renovated, wish the pool was cleaned out for bugs but you can tell it’s well maintained. You always see maintenance staff around making sure it’s presentable.
