Holes in the sheets - looked like a mouse chewed through them. No mattress cover. No fitted sheet on the bed. Only 1 flat sheet and a duvet. Only 1 chair to use at a table. Table had no available space on it as there was a TV/cable box taking up most of the table space. Nowhere to place your luggage except on the floor. No fridge, as advertised. Only 2 towels for 3 people even though more were asked for. Around wall heater, there were holes in the wall. Expensive to stay in a dump. $218 for 2 double beds. DEFINTELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

This is a camp ground with a building that offers hotel style rooms. It is located close to a river but otherwise it is 20 miles from anything else. There is a gas station, grocery store and a restaurant on site, but be aware that all of them operated on limited hours. Otherwise it was a nice stay. Rooms are recently renovated and were reasonably nice. The building however seems to still be in the process of renovation.

A simple but clean lodge along side of lake Abraham where is convenient to many attractions. The manager is familiar with the Park who gives good advice.

The power went out when I turned on the coffee pot. There was no one in the office.
We had to take a shower depending on the dim light of cell phone.
Wifi was so weak that we isolted perfectly like Robinson Crusoe.

It is very quiet, close with a river. It has very reasonable price, we are taking the sightseeing on columbia sightseeing so we hose this hotel.

The resort is surrounded by lots of beautiful hiking areas to explore!

Bathroom wasn’t very clean. :/

Not a bad place, however, no hair dryer, no tea ( not a coffee drinker), had a portable heater, no furnace.

Nice isolation in the middle of the Rockies.

Nobody at front desk, restaurant closes at 7:00 and we show up at 6:55 for dinner and informed no meal service

The only restaurant that is here is closed. I emailed just one day ago to see what the hours and service was like. They said it was open, but upon arrival, it was closed due to malfunction of stove (as they said). I wish they could of contacted arriving guests about this because their is not food here for a other 50 km away

This is not a resort. It is a motel and campground
There is a restaurant that is closed at 7
I want my mo back and could not stay there
There was self checking
This is false advertising

Great location and super helpful staff.

Beautiful setting. Rooms were dated and not the cleanest but not the worst!
The restaurant closed very early, and the c store did not know what time they were closing lol

Great location nestled in the mountains and next to a beautiful lake. Have read other reviews and would disagree with a lot of what was said. It was just right for us.
10.0
It was a nice quiet stay.
2.0
Location was great. However, the restaurant closed at 7pm. We were forced to buy "remaining food" from the convenience store with very very limited choices! The restaurant should be opened for at least 9pm considering the facility location.

Please clean bath and under the beds better, lots if hair in the bath and thick dust cover under the bed, we had toddler who climbed under the beds few times, and came out very dirty

The only reason we booked here was because of the rate. It seemed reasonable price. David thompson resorts shouldn't be called this. They make it seem like it's a higher class location but in reality it is more like a motel.

The scenery is gorgeous and it is quiet and peaceful location. We loved our stay in Wendy’s Wim cabin.

Rooms are nicely renovated. Restaurant next door is great. Enjoyed smoked brisket and smoked pulled pork there. Loved the views from our room.

A great hotel when you need to stay in between Jasper and Banff National Parks. The renovated rooms are quiet and have everything you expect. The fridge was a bonus …. Would return !!

very beautiful scenery。

The bathroom had been recently renovated. It had a good shower, good fixtures and lots of counter space. However, the plumbing under the sink detached and was leaking. The main room was ok, but could use a renovation. One thing really annoying- they would give you only now key per room, regardless of how many individuals were in the room. There is no excuse for that, especially given the cost of the room.

This must have been a pretty fancy place a long time ago. I thought it was expensive for what it was, but I guess that is expected in a touristy area in August.
We were a little bit disappointed as we had just driven 5 hours up hwy 40 with zero services, and when we arrived at the resort and got checked in, the restaurant was closed. There is a convenience store, but they did not have anything other than chips and pop! (there was mac and cheese, but no facilities to actually cook and eat that)... so our family ate chips and dip for dinner. We thought maybe if we at least bought a carton of milk, that might count as some sustenance, but there wasn't even milk! Perhaps we just came on the wrong day of the week.
We would stay again for sure, but to camp next time - and come more prepared.

The property needs serious renovation. The staff is very nice.

It was a surprise that it was so nice. Beds were amazingly comfortable. The only concern I have is that there was some black mold in the bathroom from water damage. The bathroom was perfectly clean, but the mold issue should be attended to.

Facility is extremely out of date. Wifi was spotty at best, prices were higher than anticipated, even in high season. No AC for a summer resort. Playground needs updating.

I loved that you can go take a walk around and get a beautiful view of the lake and mountains.
However, we unfortunately did find that there were stains on the towels.

The restaraunt only opens at 8am. We leave to go fishing at 7am on empty stomachs. When we went to have supper, we ordered an alcohol drink. The waiter didnt understand simple English, brought a bottle to the table, poured it in a shot glass, and there were dead bugs in the alcohol. He brought the wrong drunk to begin with. We asked for rye and he brought rum. Just really not a well run place anymore

We went with our dog. yes pet friendly hotel but dog is not allowed on the bed, unless bring own blanket put on the bed . I got this infomation after check in.
Better to put on web. if the hotel can see dog on the bed, They will charge $200 additional charge.

We loved our one-night at this friendly resort. Everything about our room was perfect, though the real highlight was the excellent country singer performing at the campground fire-pit area. There were burgers, beer and great music. I would highly recommend staying here.
