Fantastic option in Mendoza, with the whole feel of a vineyard and the unmatched attention of their personnel.
Will absolutely come back. Alejandra, the manager, was beyond accommodating and we are very grateful for everything they have done for us during our stay.

Posada Verde Oliva is a fantastic small hotel located some way outside of Maipu.
The staff are amazingly friendly, and we got lots of help from Alejandra, Nicolas and Paola to plan excursions, wine trips etc.
The hotel grounds are gorgeous (much more so than the pictures), with a nice pool, a small vineyard and nice lawn). There are two buildings, where one contains most of the rooms and the reception and a large cozy sitting area, and the other is across the vineyard containing the restaurant and two more rooms. In all I think there are 9 rooms in the hotel, so very intimate.
The rooms are spacious and clean, with all the necessary facilities. Breakfast is small and simple with eggs/bacon etc. cooked to order and a small buffet. Very good all in all. We didn't try the restaurant much outside of breakfast except once, when I got an exceptional filet mignon (sides were OK).
There are two downsides to the hotel. The hotel is located next to a road where there is some traffic, not too much, but fairly fast moving, so depending on the room there can be some traffic noise. The other is that it's fairly remote from Mendoza, so there is limited choice of restaurants, and you need to take taxi or Uber to get around (typically 15 - 20 minute drive to go anywhere). Would recommend getting a taxi via the hotel as Uber is unreliable. The location upside is that you're very close to some of the best Argentinian wineries, Trapiche (great restaurant) and Rutini.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights for our honeymoon and we honestly didnt want to leave. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the scenery was beautiful, staying amongst the vineyards and poolside was therapeutic. This place is so peaceful that it felt like a true getaway.

My only regret is that I cannot give this hotel 6 stars. They deserve it. Wonderful boutique hotel. Beautiful property. The staff is so helpful and so friendly. Great for dinner as well. The Malbec they serve comes from their own small vineyard on the property. We only planned on staying 2 days but extended to 4 because we couldn't make ourselves leave.

This was one of the best boutique hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff is the very best. They made lol the arrangements for our wine tour, Andes tour and all the restaurants. We ask them to arrange a driver from the airport. We liked this so much we are going back next year. Be sure an get the massage it was the very best.

We had an AMAZING time staying at Posada Verde Oliva. We were in Argentina on our honeymoon and decided to spend some time in Mendoza indulging in delicious food and wine and a luxurious hotel and we got just that at the Posada. The rooms were so lovely - just as clean and comfortable as any other high-end hotel. Maipu isn't the most picturesque area in Mendoza, but the grounds of the Posada were beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly well-maintained. Everyone on the staff was kind and helpful. We had three breakfasts and two dinners there, and each meal was delicious. Everything at the Posada itself was wonderful - our only complaint is the location. There's not much in the immediate area around the Posada - if you want to try any other restaurants or visit the city of Mendoza, expect to take a costly cab ride. But the Posada was honestly so lovely that we ended up spending most of our time there and didn't have any regrets. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Posada Verde Oliva. The place is peaceful and relaxing, with just a small number of large rooms, a lovely pool, a luxurious lounge and beautiful grounds. We found the staff were really happy to help with booking tours or wine tastings. The hotel also are linked to a great driver called Miguel who can pick you up from the airport, take you in to Mendoza town and even arrange half or full day wine tours. The location of the hotel is good - we liked being in the countryside away from the business of the city. There are a couple of vineyards within walking distance as well as the wine museum for tastings. However there’s not much choice for dinner, other than the hotel itself (which was pretty good). Overall I’d definitely recommend and would go back if I am lucky enough to visit Mendoza again!

AMAZING!! We felt like being home away from home. The staff here take care of you just like some good friends you are visiting and are staying with. They would offer any help they can!
The property is beautiful and well maintained, and the breakfasts are a feast!
The dinner in the hotel was also very nice. With their exclusive wine, it was even better.

The posada is like a secret hideaway. Our taxi driver, a native, was familiar with its existence, yet had a hard time finding the entrance that is subtle. Once inside the driveway, we were personally greeted by staff and checked into our tastefully decorated rooms. The amenities are sufficient to keep a guest connected to the outside hustle and bustle. Though if one wishes to ‘unplug’, the common room, the garden and pool area are cozy and attractive. The host and her staff make the stay enjoyable. They truly care about making you comfortable. I’d return if a trip to the area is in the schedule.

I had a wonderful 3 night stay with friends at Posada Verde Oliva. The small scale of the Posada, which has been expanded from a home, as well as the hospitality of the wonderful staff, made us feel like we were guests at someone's home. The lounge and dining area, as well as verandah, were absolutely delightful. Rather than going out for dinner, we ended up having dinner there two nights, and felt like we were having a cozy evening "at home" after a day of vineyard visits and rafting/kayaking.
