Amazing experience, everyone was very helpful and the place is gorgeous.

Firstly, I'll start by saying the staff at this property truly are wonderful and go above and beyond to accommodate their guests (especially the little ones), which made our stay at the hotel incredibly comfortable.
However, I believe there is room for improvement on some fronts to make it a more wonderful experience for other guests.
Dining: while the menu offers wide selection of cuisine and food options, the food quality was not great, mediocre at best. The fresh juices are great!
House-keeping: We stayed in the pool villa. Our back doors leading into the pool area were left unlocked twice post house-keeping visits. On one occasion the door was left slightly ajar. We also had insects coming out of the sink and bath tub drains, which is probably because of the surrounding greenery but is worth mentioning for those who do not particularly love having insects in their room (mostly the bathroom).
Spa: the services offered are great. I did the 90 min lomi-lomi massage, 30 min feet reflexology and 90 min hot stone. All were incredibly relaxing and I enjoyed them. However, therapists should not be banging and clanging things (like wooden bowls) while you're trying to relax. They should also speak in lower tones of voice so they don't interrupt your zen and undo the whole relaxation experience.

The villa that we booked is super nice. The service is above our expectation. Would definitely come back here again in the near future 😊.

I stayed with my family in this wonderful boutique hotel and loved every moment.
The staff was amazing, the spa wonderful, the beds so comfortable, the pool just right. We enjoyed it very much. Would definitely stay there again.

The property is clean and the staff are courteous, professional, friendly and helpful. There is a nice variety of foods for breakfast that will leave you happy and well fed. The location is not within the Ubud centre but still close enough to get there quickly via car. We would certainly stay here again on our next trip to Ubud.

We stayed in SereS spring resort for 3 nights and spent wonderful time.
The staff were friendly and thoughtful, the room was clean, we especially enjoyed the buffet breakfast which had a wide variety.
3 of us stayed in a garden view villa, there were a king sized bed and an extra bed. We especially enjoyed the sunrise view on a rice field which can be seen from the balcony and private pool, and watching egrets flying over the rice fields before the sunrise.
I’ll recommend this place to who want to enjoy quietness and nature during their trip to Bali.

I was impressed with the customer service, how accommodating all the staff are, the complimentary really good breakfast, amenities. 5 stars. I'd def stay again.

Lower villas require you to take almost 5 floors of stairs, no lift available. Steps often get wet from the water spilled by the infinity pool. And lower villas close will have lot of geckos( some of them are very big about a foot long and 4 inches wide), which made us super uncomfortable.

The property was tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud. Staff were fantastic including the Spa staff. The Spring Pool was unique and private to unwind in.

Loved the beautiful pool and resort overall. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the service was so attentive and personable. Much thanks to all staff and particularly Nouman, Agus, Ria and Made who made special efforts with service and personal connections.

We certainly enjoyed our stay on this property which is well kept. Our experience has been pleasurable. We appreciate the helpful, kind and friendly staff from guest relation, housekeeping and all the Mulberry dining staff. Everyone we encountered has been absolutely nice & helpful. Also very much enjoyed the cold pressed juice in the mornings and their delicious oatmeal cookies!

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights during our honeymoon. We were surprised that the hotel was even nicer than the photos! The staff were super helpful and friendly.
The locations is 15 minute scooter ride from the middle of town. There gets a lot of traffic in the evening time so if you go by taxi it can take up to 45 min. Scooters can bypass traffic by lane splitting but it’s only good if you are confident.
The tap water is not safe to drink but they provide two water bottles in the room each day. They also have drinking water fill up stations at each floor which is very convenient! We usually filled up all our water bottles and put in the fridge overnight to have cold water the next day.
The restaurant was pretty fancy but the dinner was just ok. The breakfast was great though with lots of local and western options, eggs made to order, fruit, pastries, etc.
The spa was great but was hard to get a reservation, needed to reserve a day in advance. We went to a local massage place just a few minute walk and they were great there as well!
Overall hotel was great with amazing views and service!

Property located in a beautiful neighborhood of Ubud, quiet with great service and amenities

Excellent experience. Super friendly service. The Sutera Villa is worth the price, with all the conveniences you could ask for. Great environment and jungle ambience. When we went, only one restaurant was open which was a little limiting - although the food was good. Definitely recommended if you want a secluded, private stay in the middle of the jungle.

My entire stay was absolutely wonderful. When I arrived in the evening the staff was very helpful they help me get to my room showed me around. I got to go exploring and I saw the spa booked a massage for the following evening and relaxed by the pool. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay wonderful day helped arrange anything I wanted to do the room was clean the air conditioning worked the refrigerator worked I was poolside so I could just walk out right to the pool. The one thing that got my attention was during exploring there were three flights of stairs to get down by the natural spring pool and by the time I got back up I needed a shower I didn't know that there were buggy systems if you stayed down there in the Villas absolutely wonderful stay for my first time in Bali I will be back.

Spa

We stayed in Ananda River Front Lower Pool Villa.
Villa is clean, nicely furnished. The bathroom is amazing. The private pool is not big enough to swim. It’s more for relaxing or for kids play.
Breakfast is good. Nice western and Asian variety.
Dine in menu doesn’t offer a lot of options but all the meals we ordered were very good, tasty and filling.
The major drawback for us were two issues. I specifically reserved the “lower” villa because I have knee problems and I thought the lower one will be more accessible for me. To my disappointment, the only way to access the villa is through 90 steps stairway. Yes I counted them. The stairway is not covered, its outdoor so when it rains, and this happens a lot, the stairway is completely wet. I asked them to send us a buggy to take us upstairs to the restaurant area because it was raining heavily. They said the buggy can’t go down to the lower villa because “it is too slippery”. Yes I know it’s too slippery that’s why I need the buggy. Had I known in advance about this issue I would’ve never picked this villa. I believe they should state clearly in the description that it’s only accessible through the outdoor 90 steps stairway, even during the rain.
The other issue for us was when we try to order grab ride, gojek, or klock. There are people staying right outside the hotel forbidden the cars from picking up passengers because they want us to hire them instead. We had to use the hotel cars which is 4 times grab price.

Nice people working there. Restaurant/food could be better. Our room was unbelievable. Would recommend this to everybody, who is going for a spa treatment. We stayed in one of the houses, and not at the hotel.

Absolutely loved SereS! Landed on this gorgeous property after booking Amatara which was a great disappointment.
If you’re looking for a nice, relaxing, peaceful place to enjoy your vacation in Ubud, this would be it. From the staff at each encounter, to the food, to the grounds. Everything was amazing, I’d definitely stay here again!

The staff was amazing! They decorated my room with happy birthday design on the bed and brought me cake. They provide a complimentary beverage upon arrival. My Sutera Villa suite was spacious, clean, and private. The environment is very beautiful and surrounded by nature.
The food was ok, the breakfast buffet food would be better if it were kept warmer. Room service is offered 24 hours but I also felt like the food could have been warmer upon arrival. I have had better breakfast buffets at other hotels.
I had an issue with some little brown specks on the left side of the bed and bed frame appearing everyday. Not sure if it was from an insect or critter or the wood from the bed frame as they explained. I never saw any insect or critters. Each time I mentioned it, they offered to clean the room and even offered me a new room, which I declined because I was comfortable in my villa.

Tucked away in Ubud, this is a gem of a hotel overlooking Ubud's lush wildlife.
