The front desk clerks were very friendly, professional. Very knowledgeable of the area and able to give easy directions. Breakfast was fresh and hot and the area was kept clean.

Hotel was great. The only problem we had was the mattress on the sofa bed was not comfortable and it dipped down on one side.

The hotel has a “policy” of only deep cleaning the room on the third day, with a “refresh” on the second day. This policy was not communicated to us, nor was there any information in the room. Even with that, they failed to “refresh” the room at all. There were no clean towels, cups, or coffee supplied. They said that they could not provide a discount on the room even though it was their mistake because we booked through Expedia.

Great place to stay! The staff is always responsive, friendly and professional. Rooms are kept very clean and the property is pretty quiet.

We liked the room and it’s cleanliness. The only problem we had was the room above us was so loud. It sounded like there were cattle running back and forth. I called the front desk and complained but nothing was done. They kept running back and forth. FYI, they looked alot like the woman who was at the front desk. Never saw any parents with these kids downstairs.

The comfort and quality of the stay was great. There was a throw up accident in one of the elevators that they said would be cleaned up and to use the other elevator in the meantime. The other elevator never came, so we ended up using the throw up elevator. Other than that, everything was great.

Nice and clean. TV malfunction finally corrected. Desk often unattended and at times clerks were rude. Adequate breakfast. Always resent motels raising their prices substantially during special celebrations.

Very slow check in. Room has two double beds. We always book a king bed. Rate was a ridiculous 349.00 a night because of homecoming in town.

Nice place for a weekend stay. We were in Brownwood for a softball tournament and decided to stay at the Holiday Inn. Nice clean place with a great location.

The parking was horrible. All the spots were taken and I had to park at the fueling station next door. Laundry requires quarters and there’s only 1 machine. Staff was rude and didn’t have enough quarters for me to exchange bills. Staff suggested I go to the fuel station to get quarters! I think if you’re going to require quarters then you should have them available. Laundry closed at 10pm. I didn’t realize that and when I returned from the fueling station, the lights were out and my card didn’t work to retrieve my clothes, which were covered in laundry soap and still dirty. I had to ask staff to open the door for me to get my clothes. I had to wash important clothes in the bathtub. I was finally able to dry them when staff finally told my spouse that the laundry was actually open. We also had a very loud family directly above us. I had asked the same staff member earlier to ask that family to be quiet. He gave very little response. I called from my room and spoke with a lovely lady, I believe she had purple hair but didn’t get her name, she was able to ask the to be quiet and I was able to sleep. Gentleman that I dealt with over the laundry issue threatened to have my family removed from the hotel due to “feeling threatened” because I swore out loud to him over the laundry issue. Simple solution to that issue is to have more than one machine and having quarters available or a change machine for guests.

We had to extend our trip at the last minute by one day. We really didn’t want to book at this location for to the price. It’s double the cost of most other hotels in the area. However, this was the only room available due to an event coming into town over the weekend. It’s a newer hotel, so you’ll find a lot of modern conveniences, such as a remote for the blinds and a pancake maker for breakfast instead of waffles. Overall, the hotel is beautiful, comfortable, quiet, and easy to get to. Disappointments include, the pricing, and the blackout blinds are not properly fitted and the rooms facing the gas station next door with always have a light glowing in through the window. Will only stay at this location again when no other rooms are available.

The hotel and staff were good. My only complaint, and it is not a strong one is that their cleaning staff need to clean better down the sides of the cushions of the chaise lounge in the room. I found quite a bit of trash and chicken bones. Yuk! I cleaned it out for the next guest.

It was nice and clean, but the breakfast was horrible.

They didnt bring clean towels. Didnt check our room We called 9 times for a wake up call....both nights.... eventually had to go down and tell them. The staff was busy eating the breakfast, and didnt havs anything refilled. No current paper. The staff was never at the desk.

Everything with my stay was great.
