We were so impressed by this hotel. The hotel was impeccably clean and from the front desk to the maids, everyone was super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great, and they even had a pool table in the lobby. If only all hotels had this great customer service, then I would travel more.

I love Tru and stay there every time I drive to Colorado. However, I was shocked to see the $10 increase in the dog fee and a decrease in the goody bag. No tennis ball??

Traveling home and encountered bad weather. The interstate was closed. The staff worked very hard to help us deal with the closure because the timeframe was uncertain. They allowed us to stay in our room until the interstate was reopened. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The facility is beautiful, comfortable and well maintained. The reception area is spacious with comfortable chairs. There is a pool table and a variety of game options. We were definitely happy that since we had to be stranded, that we had chose the Tru.

Front desk staff were amazing. They were polite, nice, accommodating, just a pleasure to deal with. Hotel is in great location with plenty of restaurants nearby.

What sets this hotel apart from the others is the layout of the lobby which encourages social interaction, pool table for teens and older, board games and activities for all ages located by various seating areas. The breakfast bar included a variety of warm and cold options. The checkin desk is in the center of all this. The layout encouraged friendliness. I found all staff, from desk to kitchen staff very cordial. I like no carpet in the rooms, seems cleaner. Beds are comfortable with extra pillows. No complaints. Room was quiet, I slept well. The below counter refrigerator in the room did not seem cold enough, so I did keep food in my cooler in the car (outside temps in the teens).

Very accommodating staff in a very stressfull time. I-80 was closed, and every hotel room in North Platte was booked up. The staff went above and beyond!

I like dogs but there are waaaaay too many dogs here. Especially when their owners take them through the breakfast area. Isn't this a health issue? Also, the rooms are like echo chambers with nothing on the walls, ceiling or wherever to deaden the sound.

Conveniently located off of I-80. Room was smaller than other hotels but it was clean and bed was comfortable. First time staying at a Tru - very nice hotel. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good. Would stay here again.

If you just need a place to sleep, it’s perfect. The beds are comfortable. If you will be hanging out in the room, it may not be the place for you. If you have a lot of stuff with you, ditto. The furniture is very IKEA-like and space is tight. It looks like IKEA designed the rooms for student housing. It’s OK but not at all “cozy.” I was on my own and couldn’t imagine sharing the room with another adult-sized person. All that being said, the staff are great and the place was very clean.
