The view was great, there was a construction site right in front of our bedroom window, but it's common in Ottawa. The suite was huge at the 16th floor in the corner of the building with a huge table and kitchenette.

Lack of parking, not publicizing that parking is not free as most hotels offer free parking. Being told $50/ night for incidental fee, then being charged $250 without reasoning. The pool was cold but the temperature inside the poor area was Too Hot.

The rooms are big, but you cannot open the window and the air refresh is not that good. Elevators were broken a lot. My bathroom had issues and needed to be fixed. My remote controls both had died batteries. Breakfast was ok but not great. You have to sign your bill (and peer pressure tip) even though the breakfast is included in the price. Cappuccino is ok but not great. Overall it is not a bad hotel, but it is also not a Hilton experience.

Nice property, clean, close to all amenities, sites, and dining options. Nice fitness area and pool. Rooms clean and comfortable. Had and issue with tv remote in living room of our guest room and maintenance brought a new functioning remote promptly. However, the only note I have made that wasn’t positive was upon check in only one of our two rooms was available after confirming an early check in weeks in advance. Eventually I requested that we be placed in a room of the same amenities on a different floor if available. The accommodation was made.

Rooms were clean, even the cupboard and dresser which often gets neglected. Staff was friendly and accommodating for requests for extra towels or information about the city. A bit long at check in, but minor compared to other places i have been. All in all a pleasant and relaxing stay

Very nice property, nice clean modern room. Had a number of minor inconveniences - each of which the staff handled promptly and politely - but maybe these should not be happening at all. Checkin lineup was lengthy and slow. Complimentary breakfast buffet was nice but had an odd process where they took your room number and gave you a voucher when you entered, but then presented you with a bill to sign when you left. (Was I supposed to leave a tip for a self service buffet ???) Parking pass didn’t work when leaving the garage and I had to back up from the gate (cars already behind me) and go back to the front desk. All handled graciously but maybe their processes need fine tuning. Only two elevators so long waits for those. Asked the housekeeper to come back later as we were stiill in the room - never came back. None of these were major and the hotel has lots of attractive points, but the “little things” added up.

Everything about this hotel is excellent with one exception: the breakfast. I could get over lukewarm oatmeal on the first morning, but I gagged on the lumpy, cold, watery oatmeal on the second. The eggs were rubbery, the bacon was good. The selection of cold cereals was poor: no granola. A bit disappointing as the front desk are amazing!

Hotel was nice, breakfast in the morning was ok. Not the freshest food. We never seen the maid service at all. Never came to check on our room to give us fresh towels or empty our garbage. Overall it was a good stay.

Check-in was really poor, long lineup, we waited for almost an hour to check in. Later in the evening we ordered food which got delivered to the front desk, but they didn’t tell us. We only found out when we called the restaurant that it had been delivered 30 mins earlier… When we went down to get it was just sitting at the front desk and the hotel staff seemed absolutely ambivalent. Our room number and name were clearly on the delivery… so overall not really a “luxury hotel” experience in any way other than the price.

Overall enjoyed our stay here. We booked two rooms for two families very nice hotel clean friendly staff. However we did not like the fact that we had to park off site as we were told their parking garage couldn’t accommodate the height of our standard pick up trucks. It was very inconvenient in the cold and with small kids. Other than that we would stay here again.

Homewood suite by Hilton or Hilton Hotel are my favorite hotel ( Montréal, Niagara Falls) but the one from Ottawa was something else, the bathroom tiles was sooo dirty like someone applied poop on the tiles and when we checked in the ask if we want someone to came clean the appart and we said yes , we was there forme Friday october 20 at 4:30 pm to Monday October 23 at 11:30 am, nobody came to clean our appart, and when we went to check out we told the receptionist all that but she did mind write down our comment , she did even try to fake like she was writing our comment.

The staff were super helpful and friendly! The food in the restaurants was exceptional and the room was spotless. Only complaint is the shampoo and body wash dispensers in the shower needed replenishing!

The quality of the hotel was very good, the breakfast was very well done, but it was not as advertised (the advertisement was made to order omelettes, but we did not see that station if it was there). The restaurant food was a bit dry and too salty, but otherwise it was very good. Staff was friendly and welcoming.
