Room was great, kids lobed the bunk beds. Restaurants needed a reservation but there was plenty of food around the hotel. Waterpark was great. Definitely worth the money

Nice stay! Nice waterpark!

Somewhat pricey but kids had fun, lots to do even when the waterpark was closed. Friendly staff. No roomservice menu which was difficult for us. But we will be visiting again.

Overall good hotel but nothing really stands out. My room was good but bath tub needed a little more cleaning especially bathtub.

I was really expecting this place to be better since its a resort and its the only thing around this area thats convenient to get to without having to go to kalahari or great wolf. Honestly, the resort was dirty. The elevators have gross hand prints all over them. The main lobby had candy and little pieces of garbage all over the floor. The staffing is not there. I didnt see one person cleaning the entire time except for the maids that were going into the rooms. This resort is extremely understaffed. The only kid friendly place to eat dinner is the same place as the bar. Drunk adults are not something you want you kids to watch as they eat. The service was awful. For chicken tenders, mozz sticks, and wings took over an hour to get to the table. When we received our food, it was cold. We tried to get to dinner at 630 and were told they dont have anything available until 8pm when half the tables were empty. The arcade... most of the arcade games were broken or the staff wasn't around to assist you when you wanted to go on the zipline attraction, lazer tag, etc. I truly believe the resort is extremely understaffed. The water park itself was great, smaller but great. The hottub was not hot but it was 8 degrees outside and majority of the hottub is outside. The managers were amazing but other than that, I think ill take the 3 hour drive to kalahari instead.

The place does its job of keeping the kids entertained, from the indoor water park to the daily scheduled activities that the Kartrite has - even for a small fee, was enjoyable for both the adults and children. There is also an arcade option that keeps the kids busy. There are restaurants on site, however their options are limited and pretty pricey. A burger is $18 bucks and does not come with fries. We were also told that the food can be ordered for pick up however, when we went to Harveys to put in the order, and waited almost 10 minutes just for staff since noone was answering the phone, we were told dine in only. The buffet is open for the morning only and you can taste the difference in the quality of the food. So we had to be very selective about what we ate as most it it tasted watered down.
My room did not have shampoo and the body wash and conditioner were very low. However, when we informed front desk that the office phone was not working and that the toilet was clogged, the service delivery was within 10 minutes - so that is a plus.
Overall, for the price of the stay and the ammenities for the children, I would give it a 7.5/10. What matters is that the kids enjoy themselves. Plus there are dining options outside the resort that are fairly close for those who dont want to break the bank.

I liked the whole layout of the place and the rides were fun! I stayed there from Jan13th-16th and check in is at 4pm and I don’t get a room until 4:4pm. Additionally, they don’t have transparency and staff doesn’t seem to be knowledgeable and upfront with information as you check in; there is $150 per night for incidental charges but they don’t tell you it takes 7-10 business days to return to your card. They also say you can charge as you go to the card on file like dining etc because it is a cashless facility but they fail to disclose that there are added fees called “amenities” that’s charged as well each time you bill to your room number with the card on file. I see these extra charges when I left to my debit card and when I called the worker telling me me it is for “amenities” and tells me he doesn’t know what amenities mean but that’s what he sees when he checks the system with the charges on my card. I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager who can explain this to me and he says I have to email my situation and they will review and get back to me. You know what I did, called my BANK, because they are thieves! They hey have every other sign up large except for the one that says 7-10 business for your $150 per night money and that there are taxes charged, ‘amenities’ each time you charge food or juice to your room number/card on file. I would not go here again just because of the lack of transparency to customer service; there are many more indoor water parks!

My son wanted to do a waterpark for his Birthday and since it’s winter this was great! Only 1 hour away. Shodrina , I don’t know how to spell her name was pleasant and great and quick! The beds were comfortable better than another water park hotel. My big thing is that the water parks walking bare foot are clean. And water was warm. All meet expectations. Bring your own towels, the pool has towels but with many people relying on towels they did run out. We were on the 1st floor in room 116. Coincidentally that’s my son’s Birthday! Clean. The only thing there was no body soap in the shower. But that’s no big deal. I would definitely go back.

Loved it. Waterpark was great for the whole family (kids are 2, 10, and 14) all of them had a blast.
Only thing we complained about was the cost of the food in the hotel. Way too pricey.

Checked in 330pm and was asked to wait being called on cell. Did not get any call till 440pm. Have to escalate to the manager to get the check in done around 5pm.
Not convinient as very limited option available in the resort and not much option around -so eventually drove 20mins to get food.
Room and facility was clean and rest are fine.

Very clean and modern but they seemed very short staffed took more than an hour to get a room. Food options around the place were not many and inside the resort the food was terrible and longer than 1 hour wait time to eat.

We had an excellent time. Would 100% recommend. We've done an indoor waterpark trip every year for the past few years, and this is the best we've been to. Everything is clean, the staff is pleasant, the rooms are nice and accommodating to our large family (there were 8 of us).

We recently went here with our kids (6 and 4) for one night over MLK Day weekend. The facility, hotel, waterpark, and overall look of the place is nice and seems clean. The waterpark was not too small and not too large, and seems to spread the people out so there weren’t long waits for anything. We got a cabana the first day we were there and felt it was well worth it (although be prepared, it’s stocked with soda and chips only). Seating appeared limited unless you arrived right when the park opened. The park was fun and the kids loved it. Lifeguards seemed very attentive, except one who kept texting on her Apple Watch.
The one major blazing con: customer service was absolutely dead. Slow-moving, lazy-appearing staff around every corner. No one eager to help. Over an hour wait to check in at check-in time (had to wait in that line because they were supposed to text me when our room was ready and they never did). At the waterpark (where you can’t bring any outside food or drink in), you order and pay at a kiosk and then hand your receipt to someone who picks your order. They were slow to grab receipts. Talking to one another. No urgency at all. Waterpark runs out of towels constantly and the towels are micro and can’t fit around your waist.
Additionally, the food was all terrible and unhealthy. Nothing was fresh or healthy. We aren’t Jewish but I feel for those who are because signs were up that they were ‘out of’ kosher options. Breakfast buffet was all processed junk.

Loved the Catskills!

Location, service and room were great. My reason for the iffy review is the waterpark and food. The water in the splash pool/infant area was completely unheated and freezing. Of all areas that should be heated im shocked that was the case. My 2 year old was shivering after 2 min. Also, food options in the resort are extremely limited with subpar food.

Overall great stay, staff is super friendly. No big pool in waterpark and no housekeeping until 3rd day of your stay. Great family place to stay not crowded which was amazing, very quick check in and check out process.

Our family had a wonderful time from beginning to end. There were endless activities for us to do including free activities! Our suite was very comfortable. The only suggestion would be to dust the vents, there was a buildup of dust, and change the shower curtain which was a little dirty. Otherwise, we look forward to returning.

The stay was great the only problem was that I waited until about 7 pm to get the room and had to check out by 11 am.

Always bring a credit card to the food inside the water park area. If you try to charge to your room, you have to wait for assistance, while you wait 10 people will order with their credit card and you will have to wait after them. So you get punished if you stay in the hotel and dont wNt to carry your credit card in the waterpark.

Food service at bar was extremely slow, had to go out and pick up food, other than that water park was great kids enjoyed it. Room was clean and up to date.

Great experience for my first time at the resort.
My grandson enjoyed his birthday.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.

First of all, I didn’t realize how small the waterpark was, but that was kind of expected. The food court was terrible, all the soda fountains were not in service and everywhere was understaffed. Chicken fingers and french fries for over $20.
Being that the soda fountain was broken for the entire waterpark, they were providing 20 ounce bottles. Only diet and Gatorade, nothing else.
The arcade room was completely understaffed, and the management was insanely terrible. Paid for a service in the arcade area for my kids climbing ropes. After paying for the service, found out that they had no staff there that night. Had to argue for an hour with the management to get my money back. They called security on me and asked me to leave.
The manager Vickie kept on, running back into her office and hiding to avoid dealing with the reverse transaction of our money.
It really was one of the worst experiences. Please, go to Kalahari or great wolf.
