The hotel was very clean and staff was friendly. Our floor smelled of pot which made for an uncomfortable stay with my children. Every time we opened our door it wafted in the room. We were disappointed that the complimentary breakfast started so late 7:30 a.m. as we had to be out by 7:15 to attend a function. Seemed a little late as breakfast at other hotels start at 6.

Person working the counter was outstanding! Breakfast service was also very good, pancake setup was pretty cool, 1st time ever saw that type.

Our checking was great, but it went downhill from there. The second day of our trip, the room was not serviced even though we were out early. When returned and found this out, we went to the desk to get towels for the following morning and we were scolded to call the front desk before “showing up”. Later that evening we called for tissues (which was empty) and when we call we were then scolded for calling and “we have to just pick them up”! The local landscaper was cutting the grass early in the morning and got clippings all over our car, requiring a car wash. Would NEVER recommend this location!!!

I like to stay at this property in Mokena whenever I'm in town. The rooms are always immaculately clean, every staff member I've ever spoken with is very friendly, and the complimentary breakfast offers a good variety of items.

The property is very nice but they were severely understaffed on the Saturday afternoon when we arrived. Rooms were not ready. The staff was extremely nice and tried their best but just not enough personnel. That evening and all through the night there were people that were having an argument in the hallway. The police were called and a portion of the people left the property. It was a horrible experience for my daughter and I.

The staff was wonderful, always greeting us. The view from the room was so nice facing the pond side. The room was clean, but there was just some little things that could have made it a little cleaner. The mirror was streaked from cleaning it, the window imprints on it from im guessing the previous person staying. The shower had some mold and rust on the caulk. But whoever tried to cover it up didn’t do a great job and there was a glob of caulk on the toilet paper when we went to use the bathroom for the first time. Not sure when someone had stayed in there last but it definitely made us chuckle. All in all, we will stay again. The bed was my absolute favorite part! So very comfy!

Check in was wild, key card didn’t work. Staff indicated that room had key access issues but sent me back up with new cards anyway. Second set didn't work staff then decided to give me a new room. Why are rooms with known access issues being used at all when open rooms are available? The new room had a glade plug in going and the smell upon entry was potent, took your breathe away.

The front desk staff was excellent! They were knowledgeable about the area and what was going on and they made us feel very welcomed. The custodial crew was fantastic! They made sure that the place was always clean and well manicured.

For a new hotel,it was extremely disappointing. We checked into a room that the beds were unmade dirty towels on the floor and food in the microwave. They gave us a new room but it was not? As. Big as the original and what I paid for.and because I booked through a third party the hotel could not and would not reimburse me The difference in the rooms. 5 of us ended up sleeping in 2 queen beds. The second room needed their bathroom tub caulked as it was peeling up everywhere. I'm glad we only had to spend one night in this place.

Not so great…filth on walls of our room (looked like splattered vomit). Room next door was slamming doors until 1am…in the morning we found out there were 7 people in a room with two queen beds. Been to a lot of Holiday Inn Express & Suites…this is the worst one. 😐

Stayed here for a quince we had that night. We stayed in a family suite beds, and bathroom were very clean. However, the little kitchenette section was not even wipe down. There’s food crumbs and food left in the refrigerator. The breakfast was decent unfortunately because this is a local hotel there are many families in the area that stay there with 5 kids for the pool. We had a very hard time sleeping with her little one with little kids running up and down the beds past midnight.

Enjoyed the delicious breakfast. Definitely favorite part of the stay. Front desk was kind and really helpful with restaurant recommednations. Bed was super comfortable and the decor was modern. Cleanliness was exceptional too with the exception of a mysterious stain on the carpet.
