The room and the checking in process was perfectly fine. There were amenities available at the reception for people to pick up which was a nice touch. Location was ideal. The downsides were that I had messaged the hotel a number of times prior to checking in about having my luggage sent to them from Kyoto and heard nothing back. When I asked reception to help me book a taxi to take me to Hakata International Port, they tried 2 numbers and was unsuccessful so told me to find one myself, not the customer service I was expecting for a hotel where it seemed to pride itself on providing excellent service.

Convenient location. Just a few minutes walk from Gion station. Spacious room which was very clean.
Staff were nice and helpful. Various style of restaurants in nearby.

I had stayed with two kids for 2 nights. The room itself was not too big, but two double beds were big enough considering it was difficult to find out a hotel for 2 adults and 2 kids in big Japanese cities like Fukuoka.
All staffs were kind and professional.
Probably I will stay at the same hotel if I visit Fukuoka.

The hotel is in a great location close to dining, shopping and transportation. Great breakfast buffet to start the day! The rooms were spacious and loved the separate shower and soaking tub! Would definitely stay here again!

New and neat place central in Fukuoka. Nothing unique or special. One thing: The check in procedure was the most cumbersome we have ever tried. After checking our reservation, copying passports and room availability the front desk issued a card. It turned out it was not the room key. We had to bring that card to a Machine across the room for payment, answering further questions and issuing og room key cards. WHY? There was enough freindly staff at the front desk. Why on earth separate the payment and key card issuing from the rest of the check-in procedure? This is bad service! Not what you need when arriving late and dont speak the language. If this had been a cheap hotel with little staff, but for a hotel this price and class it is not OK. Nothing to blame on the staff.

It is a new hotel located in the center of Fukuoka. It is located near the subway station, so it was convenient to move around. It was clean like a new hotel, and the staff was friendly. It was convenient because restaurants and attractions were close to the hotel, and the breakfast was delicious.
