We absolutely loved our time at Residencia Santa Clara!! It was gorgeous, pristine, so comfortable, and in a great part of town. We loved the air conditioning and starfruit welcome drink after a hot day of travel and everyone was incredibly welcoming. The mojitos were the best we had in Cuba (fresh limes!), and we loved our chats with Serguey. Yuli was absolutely amazing and helped us feel at home; she also helped find a last minute taxi. The food and coffee! So delicious. We had amazing internet the whole time but luckily didn’t really need it because we were soaking up every second in Havana. The room was so comfortable; no noise, great view, excellent water pressure. The rooftop deck was incredible! We honestly could’ve stayed a week inside the hotel and been happy, it’s that wonderful. Worth every penny. Thank you for your hospitality and for giving us such an amazing experience! We’ll be back!

We had a fantastic stay at the Residencia Santa Clara. The staff were warm and welcoming. We want to give a special shout out to Sergay. He helped us find a wonderful excursion when our original plans were cancelled and we enjoyed our evening chats with him.

We stayed here 3 days in February 24 and enjoyed the really Central location, just 2 blocks from Plaza Vieja and the Rum Museum. Old Havanna is all in walking distance, Capitolio is a 20 minutes walk. Super friendly staff consists of two teams (all speak English), changing every 2-3 days, who are all helpful with really everything you need to survive Havanna. Really good cappuccino with refill and tasty egg dishes. Water bottles are available for a little charge from the semi-public fridge. Tourists from other Casas came to enjoy breakfast and stable Wifi here too for a good reason.
From the terraces in the 3rd and 4th floor we had a great view over the city, and in the 2nd floor "lounge" we enjoyed drinks in the evening. There were no flies or mosquitos while we stayed here. Actually we even returned for 2 more nights before leaving home, because of the nice atmosphere and the helpful people there.

In La Habana Vieja. Well situated for touring. Owners/staff were great and very helpful. They have a nice bar and food on site. Really cute, clean rooms. Excellent breakfast included! Loved. it.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at this charming little hotel. In the old town, on the edge of a local neighborhood. Easy walking to much of Havana. Staff was amazing! So friendly and helpful. We loved our stay and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone!

The area is improving, the hotel location is nice...there's no wifi in room #7 period. This needs to be looked into. I had to sit in the restaurant with night time security to access wifi. With the cost of the room this is unacceptable . I also feel the roof top deck needs quality improvement . My friends stayed at a hotel around the corner ( Bahia Havana) and the roof top restaurant/wifi was much better quality of of rooms better. As far as service and staff. I felt Residence Santa Clara had a better feel.

Excellent staff, who treated you like one of the family. Restaurant and bar first rate. Rooms were small, particularly bathroom/toilet, but we knew that going in. Good location, walking distance to most things in the old town. No elevator, so might not be suitable for less mobile travellers. Only compliant would be the noise, as the walls were thin. We could hear doors opening and closing in nearby rooms, which did wake us up a few times when other guests arrived back late. Overall though, loved it.

Great location in the heart of Havana. Staff was friendly and helpful, also breakfast and coffee were great. The only downside is it get a bit loud at night/ early mornings and a bit chilly in the winter. Overall however, would recommend a stay here

The staff was outstanding. For a first time visit to Cuba, their help and assistance was beyond appreciated. On any future visit, it would be my first stop!!!
I also was happy that they served both food and drinks on the premises, both of which were excellent.

Residencia Santa Clara is a great Boutique Hotel. The location is amazing as are the accommodations. The room was comfortable and was just like the listing as was the entire hotel. I was traveling with my 79-year-old mother and she was easily able to maneuver the stairs.
The outdoor seating patios on the upper floor and rooftop are great and the views from both are fantastic!
We had lunch once and dinner 2x and the food was perfectly done and the presentation was incredible. Top notch!
Juliet and the staff are absolutely amazing, helpful friendly, and superior service!
I will definitely be booking back into Residencia Santa Clara on my future trips back to Havana.
As my mom put it, while a lot of hotels and B&Bs are called hidden gems, Residencia Santa Clara really is one.

Excellent choice for a long weekend. Clean, safe, close to everything in Old Havana. Juliette, Amin, Serguey and the rest of the staff are great. Included breakfast is perfect, AC is cold, rooms are comfortable and contrary to what you may hear elsewhere, Amin and Serguey make the best mojitos in Havana.

Friendly, polite, and honest Cubans work here.
This was my first time in Cuba and thanks to this place my experience was fantastic.
When we come back to Cuba again we will stay here again.
Tip: When walking through the city I met so many nice Cubans who are more then willing to help, and some but not all will ask for a little help, so carry with you some pesos to give in return; this is a very poor country so giving little goes a long way for them and their families.

It’s a nice accommodation in Cuba. The location is very convenient where is next to the Havana Club Museum. The staffs are really nice and helpful. One thing that I would like to call out is the chefs, they prepared fantastic breakfast for guests every morning which the quality and presentation like having fine dining! That’s awesome.

Our stay at Residencia Santa Clara was perfect. The room was great, the bar/restaurant was welcoming, and the staff in particular were amazing. All of the staff especially Yuliet, Amin, Sergei but also the kitchen and cleaning staff we didn't get to know by name really made us feel welcome and ensured our trip was extra special. I would recommend anyone to stay at Residencia Santa Clara when visiting Havana.

We spent 7 nights at Residencia Santa Clara and were very pleased with our accommodations, the room was great, AC worked wonderfully......and the entire staff was absolutely amazing and went out of their way to make everything about our stay better. Food was delicious and plentiful.......and breakfast hit the spot very morning. Yuliet, Amin, & Serquey took great care of everything we needed......when we left it felt like we were leaving family. Absolutely recommend and we will stay here again.

This place is very nice, and overall I'm satisfied. However, I believe that it is possible to find way better accommodation with the money. The room was nice and clean, AC worked like a charm. The staff is a bit uninvolved but helped us with everything. The exchange rate was a bit worse than in other places we visited lately. The city centre is really close. If you decide on this place, get one Mojito there - it is fantastic!

I highly recommend Residencia Santa Clara! It's a great location for exploring Old Havana. The rooms and hotel is clean, comfortable and beautifully themed. We encountered no issues with our room or amenities. The menu and beverages at the bar are all great and we were so surprised by the lovely welcome drinks! Big compliments to all the staff who are so attentive, friendly & very helpful. A special shoutout to Sergue & Amin for their kind hospitality & making our time in Havana memorable.

Super friendly staff. A staff at the bar provided welcome drinks when we arrived. The room was clean and heartily decorated. Some rooms even provided a welcome rum.

I felt right at home in this place - friendly staff who want to do the very best for all of their guests, quiet comfortable, clean and well decorated rooms, a cool little bar as popular with the locals as with guests and a location that is central without being stereotypically touristy. I also stayed in one of the larger typical hotels when in Havana and this place was significantly better. Not cheap - but worth it.

The staff at Residencia were incredibly helpful, keen to make sure everything met our expectations. Thank you Julia you were just amazing and so accommodating to our many requests for assistance, Amin was also really helpful. An excellent breakfast, fresh fruit, eggs and toast. Coffee/tea. They organised taxis, offering advice in navigating locations across La Havana and changed our room configuration without hesitation. Very comfortable room with all amenities and a deck to have a drink in the afternoon. Great location within easy walking distance to good restaurants and attractions, markets, main plazas and museums. High recommended.

Like visiting dear friends. Juliet, her father, Serge and all the staff are so warm and welcoming, helpful and accommodating, it was hard to say goodbye. The place is truly lovely, Cuban modern design with tons of style and attention to detail. Great food and conversation. Gracias, gracias, gracias. Pensamos en todos ustedes con carino. David and Mindy, hasta la proxima.

Lovely place for my last night in Cuba.
The first impression is great - the bar/cafe looks fresh and welcoming, and the people there were all super friendly and helpful (particularly Serguey & Amin)
Room was a nice size, shower was good (far from always the case in Cuba!), breakfast spot on and the prices at the bar/cafe were good too.
Location is also perfect for the ferry and Plaza Vieja
Highly recommended, and would stay there again if I ever go back to Havana

Beautiful, clean en-suite room with an individual style. Staff were all really friendly. We arrived quite late and were welcomed with a refreshing glass of fresh juice. Breakfast was lovely & they made a really good cup of tea - the best I had in Cuba.
We exchanged Euros for CUP at the Hostel safely and at a good rate.
Great location for exploring Habana Vieja. Would definitely recommend. Great start to our Cuban adventure.

We loved this hostel. Alexis and Sergio looked after us wonderfully, nothing was too much trouble. The hostel has a great, relaxed cafe at the front which serves a lovely breakfast. Our room was beautifully decorated and well designed. We had a great view onto the street but as the room was set back (we had a balcony) it wasn’t noisy. Would highly recommend this friendly and delightful hostel.

Great location, right in the center of Havana Vieja. We met a lot of friendly locals and other guests.
We had a very pleasant stay at this property.
The staff was also very friendly.

The property was very attractive. The proprietor was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good with a nice omelet and plenty of coffee. Be prepared to climb lots of stairs to get to your room. The room was clean and rather small, but creatively laid out. It was noisy at night (we were there on a Saturday).

If you want to experience Havana for real, not in a 5* hotel room but a fabulous, authentic, comfortable, stylish room. Come to this property, you will not be disappointed. Absolutely fabulous!

We really enjoyed our stay! Sergey, Amin and another younger staff were all very helpful, fun and welcoming. We always enjoyed good drinks and conversation with them in the bar. The hotel is in a great area - safe, family oriented and on a quiet street. The rooms were modern, well maintained and all had AC!

One of the best places to stay in Havana next to Plaza Vieja in a calm street.
Residencia staff was very helpful & friendly and available 24/7. The rooms are modern, industrial-chic, clean, and meet western standards.
The place has a bar/café in the lobby where you can have drinks and snacks.
We loved our stay there and would definitely choose it again!
