The hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable. The view out of our room of the castle was stunning! The location is perfect for any tourist and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Our stay was the best we could have hoped for on our first trip to Scotland. Try the breakfast; it was delicious. It was just below the castle and right around the corner from all of the bars and restaurants. The design was modern and clean.

Great wee place, fall out of bed and you're on the Grassmarket. Check is was awesome, wonderful Canadian lass made us very welcome. Top quality kit in the room, Smeg kitchen, great bed and shutters to block out the light. Breakfast was decent in the 1st morning, sadly lacking on the 2nd. Will definitely return.

A trip with friends for a 70th birthday celebration. Staff at hotel all friendly and helpful. Fabulous rooms, comfortable and really well equipped to give you flexibility during your stay. Would highly recommend and use again.

Lovely studio room, had everything I need, though lounge could maybe do with a better floor lamp that lit up the room, rather than a spotlight. The normal lighting is very bright, but evening soft lamps would be nice.

Compact double room. Bed was exceptionally high and mattress was very hard. Rubbish sleep as a result. In contrast the toilet was weirdly low.
We would have liked some instant coffee sachets rather than 4 coffee pods (one of which was decaf).
Edinburgh has become eye watering expensive over the past few years, and frankly the high price of the hotels doesn't equate to high quality.

Hotel was in a great location, clean and perfect for a quick or long trip to Edinburgh! The hotel staff could not be friendlier or more helpful with suggestions, recommendations and coordinating travel.

The location is great, near Edinburgh castle and shopping and restaurants. The room however was freezing! The bed is on a platform in a corner next to wall so if you’re a couple someone has to practically climb to enter the bed. There is a towel warmer in the bathroom that will burn you. The staff was stingy when we asked for more toilet paper. When I asked to store bags for a couple of hours after I had checked out, the staff missed two bags and left them standing at the desk. I was glad I noticed before I had left but they admitted they had forgotten about them.

Excellent location central to nearby bars and restuarants,shops and castle.Ròoms are clean and very well equipped.Parking just minutes away furter down the road but beware becomes very expensive if you exceed your 24 hours.Would not hesitate to recommend.

A great stay, the location was perfect and the room was very clean, modern and cozy. The room was well stocked and free replacements of basics were available at reception as well as great coffee and tea station with daily cookies at reception. Only disappointment was the very expensive guest laundry.

Everything was not at fault and would stay again and again. BUT the heating was not straight forward to adjust. I tried increasing the temp level to 23+ but no hot or warm air came out of the unit. A bit cold.
Other than that very impressive stay. Staff couldn’t do enough for us with a huge and pleasant smile … excellent

We had a wonderful stay here. The property has a view of Edinburgh Castle. Everything you need is within walking distance. The staff are exceedingly accommodating. The rooms are well designed and very comfortable. We look forward to staing here again!

Location is perfect. You can easily walk to the old side with the castle. Go n the other direction and easily walk to the train station and all the beer shops.

The best of places with super friendly staff. Big shout out to Percy that made our stay so lovely. He was really helpful and such a great guy. Very Good breakfast, everything here is perfect and we be back for sure 👍

We stayed one night as we were having a night out in Edinburgh, this hotel is a new find for us and this will be our new go-to hotel. Location is perfect, bang in the centre but in a quiet street, the condition, spec, comfort, staff etc were all spot on. They have made a beautiful job of the hotel and it’s grounds.

Epic location. Fabulous apartment, very spacious and clean. Staff were fantastic, especially Percy! We booked for two nights and stayed four! Hated leaving so we’ll be back.

First class apartments. Well situated very close to the castle and nearby shops, restaurants and bars. Property was clean and in good state of repair. Staff were polite, friendly and attentive.

Good location and easy to walk to from the city centre. Thought it was quite an expensive night stay with breakfast being an additional cost. Bed was comfy but high and up against a wall so quite hard to get in and out of but the room was quiet and we had a good night sleep. Room needed a bit of maintenance, water marks on the ceiling and we couldn’t open the window to let air in.
