It was a really great place to stay for the weekend. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. The restaurant had great views, and you’re in walking distant to other major restaurants.

Just there one night for our anniversary. Rooms and property were very nice, and staff was really good. Nice to walk around the Marina. $45 for parking seemed a bit excessive, but that's probably just normal for the Marina area.

We love this hotel! We visit our daughter in Marina Del Rey 2-3 time a year and always stay here. It’s a quick and pleasant walk along the boardwalk to her apartment. The rooms are a good size, very clean and modern and beds are comfortable. The restaurant Brisas is wonderful for lunch, happy hour or dinner and has a beautiful view of the marina. There’s also a large outdoor lounge/bar/pool area with a view of the marina. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Bonus: easy 15 minute walk to Venice Beach! Highly recommended!

The Courtyard is a nice hotel set in the quiet Marina del Rey just minutes from the beach. It is also very conveniently located close to LAX just a 15-20min drive. Staff were friendly and the rooms were a good size and well maintained. Lobby and restaurant are beautifully designed and cosy. Outdoor bar was also really enjoyable. Catering options however I found limited if you do not want to dine at the restaurant. There was no room service options available which surprised me considering the price can be over $300 per night. The cafe in the lobby was closed most of the weekend. Did not see any vending machines for drinks/snacks. Very few cafes/restaurants within walking distance but able to order for delivery to hotel. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Horrible experience. Shockingly terrible staff (not including our lovely waitress). Then left with a souvenir of three days of food poisoning from the salad In the avocado toast. Everyone (minus waitress) were rude, not helpful, and our room was next to valet on the first floor so we didn’t sleep even one minute. Never again!

We were in town visiting family and decided to try the Marina del Rey Courtyard this go around and we were very happy with the total experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back in the future.

The view of the marina was amazing, the restaurant selection was great. The restaurant manager Mr. Hendricks went above and beyond when we arrived after the restaurant was closed. The front desk staff were very accommodating. Absolutely will stay there again…

Charging a destination fear, when you are a true resort is one thing, but when you’re Waterview is a 15 inch deep swamp, charging a destination fee seems a little grand.

Front desk lady was very rude and not welcoming and she put us in the worst rooms looking at a parking lot and weeds. No view of the water whatsoever. When we tried to complain the manager wouldn’t even come talk to us and ignored us. Another table at the restaurant got into a fight with the manager for bad service. Not a good experience at this hotel.

I put my parents up here. Parking is all valet, and the valets don’t have enough room, so picking up or dropping off is difficult, especially if one of your party has mobility issues. I was especially disappointed when I asked the front desk to arrange a cab for my parents to the airport since I had to work, and I was told that cabs were unreliable so I should have my parents install Uber or Lyft and use that instead. One of the reasons I went for a hotel instead of an Airbnb was so that they’d have staff to help them out. In the end I reserved the cab. It showed up on time (five minutes early, actually). That said, the room was lovely and the restaurant is nice, though it seems understaffed. A good place to go if you’re not in a hurry.
