Great pub but you don't want to stay there for a good night's sleep. Told us that there was music "on the weekend" so booked for Wed. & Thurs. but the music started Thursday.

What a cool place! Our room was perfect for the 3 of us as one barely sleeps if she can hear us breath so she had her own bedroom within our room. Love the nostalgia and cool factor of being haunted. Be prepared for loud late into the night from the live band in the very fun pub. We knew this in advance and were fine with it. Would stay again for sure!

We rented one of the cottages that slept 6. Two bedrooms and 1 pullout sofa bed. 1 full bath and a powder room. The cottage had a fully equipped kitchen and a big dinning room. One of the niceties was a patio you accessed from the side door of the cottage but you could get into the hotel bar off the patio. We were a 5 minute drive to the Kurtz Orchard where our event was being held. Coming back from the wedding was a very inexpensive Uber Ride home. We needed extra bedding for the pull out which ws provided almost immediately. All and All it was a place I am looking forward to going back to

Fun place to stay, great location to old town. Good food and drink at the restaurant. We would stay here again.

It is an historical sight. Bed was extremely comfortable.
Thank you Jann at the front desk for checking us in and your personable attitude.

An excellent stay at a historic property. Clean, comfortable room with a great bed in the heart of town was very nice. The staff was present and happy to help when needed, and chill and respectful otherwise. We arrived via bicycle, and the staff was very accommodating in helping us store them securely. Jan and Diane at the front desk were super helpful.

We had a very pleasant stay and the staff was helpful and friendly. It is a very interesting historic property.

The Olde Angel Inn was so much fun with the pub underneath. Diane was fantastic and gave us a lot of information. She was friendly and easy to talk to.

We had a very nice stay at the Angel. The staff were friendly and helpful. We loved the history of the Inn and enjoyed being close to the main street.

Oldest running tavern in upper Canada.
Needs upgrades even a fresh coat of paint and a good dusting I.E. exhaust fan cover plate.

Was a great place to stay! Parking was a pain on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, but eventually we found a spot. Staff very nice and helpful, even helping to bring a heavy bag up to the room. Comfortable bed. Lots of charm in a historic room. We were a bit tired and didn't feel like heading down to the pub, but probably should have as it sounded like fun up until the live music stopped at 12:30am :)

THE STAFF WAS AFFABLE AND ACCOMMODATING, AND THE LOCATION IS HISTORIC AND CONVENIENT!

Great central location and exactly as advertised, given the age and history of the Inn. The live music in the pub is absolutely the best draw; lively and fun. The room itself was clean and well appointed. The shower was not great; between the water turning hot and cold continuously and considerably leaking onto the bathroom floor, it wasn’t a pleasant experience. That being said, overall, would definitely recommend for a central location if you intend to stay in NOTL. Make sure you check out the pub!

Was a little musty which was to be expected but a newer stair carpet or wooden stairs would have helped. Overall a great place to stay.

There’s limited parking but that’s easy to figure out. The staff was super friendly. Beds are amazingly comfy and it’s a really cute place and so convenient for walking around the city.

If I had to find something that was not impressive, it would be the soap. It was the size of a breath mint, and there's no way I would be able to use it in the shower. Other than that, a great time with very caring and attentive staff.

The Old Angel Inn is a unique, historic property of interest in the heart of one of Canada's favourite little towns. It has a pub with a classic British vibe, and a surprisingly attractive outdoor patio area. It has adjacent "cottage" accommodation appreciated by family groups. Those staying at the Inn should be aware of 19th century features and understand they could be surprised, as we were, by amplified band music rocking your bed past midnight. You might want to be in the pub, fine, but not trying for a good night's sleep the night before a running race! The accommodation personnel is the lowest priority of this business.

I liked the quaintness of the inn.
The lack of parking is an inconvenience.

So much character but with 200 year old building have to be prepared to not have all the “mod cons” at your finger tips! Eg took quite a while for hot water to run in! Can also hear people in the bar below rooms. Super location and great atmosphere and pub food!

We loved the wide plank wood floors and other features of this more-than-200-year-old Inn conveniently located one short block from Queen Street. Since it is a heritage building, don't be surprised that the soundproofing and insulation is not up to 21st century standards. We were there during the week and things quieted down once the pub closed at 1 a.m.

Extemely noisy from pub below, barely slept. Most staff were very helpful and friendly

We love the location but the property itself is amazing. Room was very clean and the staff were fantastic. Easy to check in and surprisingly quiet, for an old building we thought we'd at least hear people downstairs but we didnt hear anything. 10/10

The staff were very friendly. The room was as we had hoped in a 200 year old inn!
The restaurant had delicious food and drinks. Live music with a large crowd made it a very lively evening!

Had a great time. My initial reason for going to Niagara on the Lake was to visit the Olde Angel Inn pub. When I found out they rented rooms, I was delighted. Room very comfy and clean.

Extremely positive experience. We totally loved the Angel’s Inn

This was a very disappointing stay and certainly not worth the room charge. Amenities (such as the TV and cable) were non-functional at the best of times, even with assistance from staff to try and improve the situation. Our room was directly above the restaurant below and we were not made aware that a live band would be performing until almost 1am , which made sleep impossible and resulted in a very restless night and early departure in the morning. While the property was steeped in history and tradition, but it certainly was not worth the cost or unfortunate experience.

Absolute beauty of a place to stay. I am from the UK originally and it was just like being back at a British pub. The rooms were clean and tidy. A big shout out to the staff who were super friendly and made you feel welcome. Great range of beers and the Fish and Chips were excellent. I will definitely come back and stay again.

The Inn was very cute and quaint. Sandra was extremely helpful, accommodating and outgoing! Loved having the tavern below. Would definitely recommend to friends. Thanks for everything!

I liked the bar. There weren't any mirrors in the rooms. Our ac control was broken. The stair carpet was very dirty. The beds were very comfortable. Very disappointing for for what we paid c

Quaint old property and nice room. Excellent location.
Noisy on weekends, especially when a rock band is playing on the floor beneath your room. No parking.

The Angel Inn is a unique overnight experience. Rooms are styled with colonial decor. Staff work hard to keep up with crazy influx of tourists to the area so patience is a must and then you will enjoy the super cold awesome draft beer on tap and great pub food. The patio out back is a great addition to the property as well.
