This was the ideal hotel for a family trip to the NC Zoo, very clean, rooms well arranged, helpful staff.

Everything was going very well except for the warm coffee in the lobby and the luke warm eggs and sausage.

A very nice hotel but the check in was a nightmare. When we came we were initially told that they had overbooked and instead of a 2 queen room we could get a king room. I on purpose chose the more expensive 2 queen room compared to the king room so that would not work out. After waiting for more than half an hour they finally found a solution and gave a stupid reason for the issue.
Amenities was okay. Breakfast was fair after waiting 10 min for coffee

I stayed here for 2 nights with my boyfriend and the place was nice and clean. The breakfast was actually pretty good, and I would definitely come back to stay at this hotel if I ever went to north Carolina again.

The room was clean and pristine upon my arrival. Continental breakfast provided an array of options including muffins, bagels, cereals, pancakes, and several meat options. Check in and check out was quick and simple. This was a perfect place to stay while visiting family for the holidays.

Terrific hotel! Friendly and helpful staff, rooms are immaculate and comfortable, perfect breakfast(something for everyone.). The entire premises are extremely nice. Will definitely return when in the area!! Thanks so much. Oh, the location is convenient to everything.

Had to take an emergency stay here for a sick kid. I'm kind of a hotel snob, but this was the only thing in the area. I found it pleasantly clean, new, and the staff was wonderful/accommodating. Great price. I would absolutely come back again.

We checked in very late, 4am, and the employees were in contact and waiting when I got there. They were incredibly kind, helpful & understanding. The property is clean, comfortable and quiet. We had a great stay!

When we got to breakfast at 8:30 AM there was no pancake mix and the cinnamon buns were gone. Fruit selection was poor and the eggs were not good. We went to IHOP the second morning.

There was no ice on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors. The site did not have access to a corkscrew, and a clean towel had to be requested.
These items are about quality. However, the cost was too inflated as well. The staff was polite and efficient.

Staff was helpful. Extra room in breakfast area was perfect for family celebration. Room was a little rough and not stocked for our number of guests. Called a suite, but did not measure up.

Have always had very good experiences when staying at Holiday Inn Express hotels, and this time was no different. My brother and I stayed here so we could be closer to the NC Zoo for a day trip before making the second half our drive home from the beach. Cozy and spacious rooms, very comfortable beds, awesome shower. I couldn’t have asked for more!

We stayed here twice this this week the first visit was excellent. This visit we had a room with a connecting door to the room next door and that guest brought their gaming system and played video games with surround sound until very late. I call the front desk, they tried to call the room next door but they didn’t answer so nothings happened. I also asked for a printed receipt, which I had gotten when we stayed two days before, and I was told they could print a receipt for third party booking.

We had dirty towels and wash cloths had to go get new ones bathtub was very dirty we had to clean it out before we took a bath or shower bed we nice and clean rest of the room was clean

The accomodations were fine. It bothers me that when I checked out the clerk told me that I couldnt have a receipt because their printer was down and i would recieve an email from Travelocity, which I have not. I checked my Amazon credit card and I have been charged $311.36 for 2 rooms which I was to have gotten for $139 each. The other couple we were with used points on their room but the clerk told me she couldn't separate our bills. So at this point I have no itemized bill, have no idea if points were applied or I do not know if we were charged correctly. Incidentally, we stayed in Kannapolis last January and booked through Travelocity. The clerk at that hotel also said i couldn't have a receipt because their printer was down. My husband demaned a receipt and got one. I would appreciate getting a receipt for this stay Sept 3rd.

After cleaning out my apartment in town, packing a 20ft U-Haul to the gills, and facing a 7 hour trip to my new home in Georgia, I needed a break! Chose to get a good nights rest at the local Holiday Inn Express. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The showers were great, and the breakfast was hot and tasted great. When I go back to Asheboro to visit family I will definitely stay here again!

The pool was closed due to the health department shutting it down, and it was the sole reason we picked the hotel. They would not give us a discount, and our kids were very disappointed we could not swim. The pancake machine was also broken, as well as the blinds in our room. Very disappointed.

You get what you pay for. I know this is not a 5 star stop but our sheets were stained, the room was dingy, and the breakfast bar ran out of food and coffee at 8am.

Arrived and the room hadn’t been swept, vacuumed in living area or mopped in the bathrooms. Crumbs EVERYWHERE. Had to get housekeeping up to vacuum and the housekeeper didn’t even vacuum half the room. The automatic blinds didn’t work. So we had to roll them both by hand then wedge them in a track to get them to stay. Housekeeper had to show us how. For $160,l for 1 night, the place should Atleast be clean.
